Brown/Getty Images Tom Arnold And Mark Burnett Fight At Emmy Party Last weekend the internet was in a respectability uproar as Cardi B and Nicki Minaj ‘s beef came to a head at New York Fashion Week during Haprer’s Bazaar Icon Ball. While some felt that the Onika earned the on-sight a$$-whoopin’ that Belcalis attempted to administer, others (including Onika) were aghast that such a fracas took place under the judge-y gaze of powerful caucasians . As if people always adhere to the highest decorum at these “prestigious” events. Well, one week later we have another incident of violence at a high-falutin’ Hollyweird shindig and we’ve seen not hide, nor hair of that criticism volleyed at the participants. According to TMZ , Tom Arnold and mega producer Mark Burnett got into a fight at a pre-Emmy party in which Arnold was allegedly choked by Burnett. There is still some discrepancy about who actually attacked who first, with Burnett’s wife claiming they were “ambushed” and Arnold claiming he was defending himself. For those who are wondering who the hell Mark Burnett is, he is the man who created The Apprentice and Donald Trump, like most of his “businesses” just put his name on it. Tom Arnold believes that Burnett is protecting Trump by hiding the alleged on-set recordings where Donnie uses the n-word and many other epithets. After their fight, the dust settled and those in attendance didn’t seem half as rattled at some of the folks screaming bloody murder that Cardi had become violent in the presence of those who are supposed to lead us…TO FREEDOM! While off camera during a filming of reality competition show Big Brother two white cast members were recorded complaining about how their suntans made them look “ghetto” and Black like one of their African-American cast mates. Rachel Swindler and Angela Rummans were named as the two bigoted Beckies who saw absolutely nothing wrong with what they were saying. Bayleigh Dayton is the Black cast member who they were referring to according to TMZ . “I know. According to Entertainment Tonight , he made a phone call to an unlikely celebrity who could relate to his post-haste engagement to get their opinion. Nick Cannon. “He called before he was going to do it, and I said, ‘Salud!’” Cannon shared. “He was really excited, so I was like, ‘I love it, man. Keep it going.’ Love is in the air!” In reality, it isn’t random that Pete called Nick, they go way back. “I used to have a radio show in NYC in the mornings and this kid called in one day, 15 years old and said, ‘I want to open up for you doing stand-up.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, all right, tell me a joke.’ He told me a joke and I was like, ‘This kid is pretty funny’… I took him on the road with me,” he explained. “Unbeknownst to me, even at that time, I didn’t know about his history, that his father passed away on 9/11 and then just watched this young man have all of this weight on his shoulders and then just become this outstanding, hilarious young individual.” And as we stated before, Nick’s marriage to Mariah Carey is similar to what Pete is about to do with Ariana. “I don’t think [there’s such thing as too soon],” Cannon said. “But I’m a hopeless romantic, or as I say, a fearless romantic. I just like to jump into it, and sometimes it can get you in trouble, but it makes for some great stories.” Thing is, Nick’s marriage didn’t make to “til death do us part”. Ireland On Its Way To Passing New Abortion Law Following an unexpectedly large victory for the movement to repeal of its constitutional amendment which outlaws abortion, Ireland is now expected to have a new law within six months. Two-thirds of voters in Friday’s referendum voted in support to repeal of the 8th Amendment, which outlawed the procedure by citing “the right to life of the unborn.” Irish prime minister Leo Varadkar called for the vote earlier this year and praised the result, calling it a “quiet revolution.” The repeal does not legalize abortion in Ireland, and the Oireachtas legislature will still need to pass a law doing so–but of course, this makes that a lot more likely. The legislative process would be easier than expected and complete within six months, Varadkar said, because of “the fact that the result is so clear that it is more than 2:1 in favor.” The final tally found that 66.4% voted yes to amend the constitution while 33.6% voted no. Proposed legislation from the country’s Health Ministry would legalize abortion up to 12 weeks of pregnancy and allow second-trimester abortions if two doctors determine that there is a risk of serious harm to the mother. It will also include a three-day waiting period after a woman seeks an abortion. The law would put Irish abortion law in a similar position to other European countries such as Belgium and the Czech Republic, though laws vary in terms of waiting periods and timeframes for cases. In England — where many Irish women have traveled for abortions — abortion is legal up to 24 weeks. Laws in the United States vary from state to state, but the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade legalized abortion across the country in the first trimester.
