Late in the second half of of Uruguay’s opening round World Cup match against Italy today, star striker Luis Suarez appeared to bite defender Giorgio Chiellini. The following video makes this abhorrent action rather obvious: Luis Suarez BITES Opponent Suarez – who has actually gone Mike Tyson on opponents on two previous occasions in his career – was not punished by Mexican referee Marco Rodriguez, despite Chiellini’s protests. The Italian even lowered his jersey to show everyone the bite mark on his shoulder. Just moments after this incident, Uruguay took the lead on a Diego Godin header and went on to win 1-0, qualifying for the round of 16. Italy, meanwhile, was sent packing as a result of the loss. Following the match, Juventus defender Chiellini referred to Suarez’s move as “a disgrace” on Sky Sport Italia, calling for FIFA to discipline the star. FIFA regulations do allow Suarez to be punished retrospectively and it has said it “will gather all the necessary elements in order to evaluate the matter.”

Justin Bieber ran into trouble today on his way home from Tokyo: the singer was detailed by U.S. Customs officials at LAX. According to TMZ insiders, Bieber touched down this afternoon – but his party van, entourage and baggage waited outside for about an hour while Justin was asked a number of questions. No, Bieber was not arrested. Nor is he in further legal trouble. Instead, this sort of questioning by authorities is typical procedure for someone with a track record such as Bieber’s. Over Super Bowl weekend in February, Bieber went through a similar experience at the airport in New Jersey. In other scandalous news, there’s been chatter that Bieber cheated on Selena Gomez with Kylie Jenner. We know: Crazy, right?!?

Isht is real out here. Former KKK Leader And Mother Indicted In Cross-Burning When will the hatred stop? According to Raw Story: An Alabama grand jury indicted a former Grand Cyclops in the racist vigilante group the Ku Klux Klan in the town of Ozark on Wednesday. The man was charged with burning a cross at the entrance to an African-American neighborhood. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 28-year-old Steven Joshua Dinkle was indicted on five counts by the grand jury, including obstruction of justice. His mother, Pamela Morris, a former secretary for the local KKK was also indicted on perjury charges for lying to the grand jury about the incident. On May 8, 2009, Dinkle and another man reportedly erected a cross and set it ablaze in a predominantly African-American neighborhood in Ozark with the intention of frightening and intimidating the residents. The counts against Dinkle further state that he obstructed justice by lying to local investigators about his role in the cross-burning and to federal investigators in 2012. Dinkle told investigators he had ended his association with the Klan six months before the incident and denied knowing others involved with the crime. Morris, said the grand jury, lied on at least two separate occasions in her testimony. She lied about her son’s involvement with the cross burning incident and about her own involvement with the hate group. She faces a maximum statutory sentence of five years in prison and a possible fine of up to $250,000 on each count of perjury. Dinkle, if convicted, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines for charges of conspiracy and criminal interference. He faces another maximum 10-year sentence for charges of the use of fire to commit a federal felony and a 20-year maximum sentence and possible $250,000 for making false statements to local investigators. He also faces a maximum 5-year sentence and $250,000 fine for making false statements to the FBI. The case is still the subject of a joint investigation by the FBI, the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and the Ozark Police Department. Further charges and indictments could be pending. Damn shame. Jefferson has been charged with felony strangulation — after allegedly grabbing his GF by the neck and throwing her around a bedroom earlier this week … TMZ Sports has learned. According to the Eden Prairie Police Department in MN … the accuser told cops she and A.J. got into an argument on November 25 after a night on the town. She says things got so bad, he went to a neighbor’s home and she went to sleep in the guest room of her home. The GF claims A.J. returned to their home and confronted her about ignoring his text messages — and that’s when things got violent. The GF told police A.J. “grabbed her neck and she could not breathe.” He then “picked her up by the neck” and threw her off the bed and onto the floor. She claims she didn’t fight back because she was having a hard time breathing and he’s a lot bigger than her. Cops say the GF went to a police station after the incident with red marks on both sides of her neck — and that’s why officials decided to charge Jefferson with a crime. A.J. was arrested that night — and cut by the Vikings the very next day. If convicted, he faces up to 3 years in prison. SMH!!!!

It was previously reported that images of the pair engaging in sexual activity had been stolen by handyman Richard Orozco from Fulton’s home. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. You turn your back for one second and catastrophe happens. That’s the case for 26 year old father Christopher Calhoun. While he wasn’t looking, Calhoun’s 4 year old daughter poured gasoline down their slide to make it more slippery for herself and her sister. A charge of static electricity caused the gasoline to ignite and now his 2 year old is in a medically induced coma with burns over 30% of her body. Toddler Burned On Swing Set In Gasoline Fire Calhoun told police he had been playing outside with his girls when stepped inside the house for just a moment. He heard screams and saw his daughters, one of whom was on fire. Calhoun grabbed the 2 year old and put her in the shower to douse the flames while calling 911. It’s unclear how or where the 4 year old found the gasoline can from which she poured the highly flammable liquid. Police are treating the incident as an accident and have decided not to file charges against Calhoun.

Anthony Mackie was arrested for drink driving in New York City early this morning. According to TMZ sources, the incident went down around 1:30 a.m. when police officers pulled Mackie over due to his tinted windows. When the cops approached the actor’s vehicle, they smelled alcohol and noticed his bloodshot eyes. Multiple field sobriety tests were then performed and failed and Mackey was cuffed and taken to a local police station, where he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test. As a result, Mackie’s license will be suspended. The busy actor is best known for roles in 8 Mile, Gangster Squad and The Hurt Locker.
