Just in case you haven't heard about it yet, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are in a bit of a feud at the moment. Just kidding — if you're on this section of the internet at this very moment in time, there's literally no chance you haven't heard about it. But just to recap real quick, earlier this month, Rob said some unkind things about Chyna in a series of Instagram posts. He claimed that she's on a bunch of drugs, and that she brings various men into the house while her children are there. He also shared some nude photos of her — and in doing that, he broke some laws. Chyna's working with a lawyer, and she managed to get a temporary restraining order against him that prohibits him from talking about her online. It's all very, very bad. Caitlyn Jenner, meanwhile, has commented on the situation, stating that Rob was “stupid” for posting the nudes , “and he kind of apologized.” But she added that she's never met Chyna, and she hasn't “really had a serious conversation” with Rob in years, so she's not really up to date on everything.” Fair statements, right? Because, objectively speaking, Rob was stupid for sharing the pictures. But for some reason, Blac Chyna's mother, Tokyo Toni, took great offense to Caitlyn's words on the matter, and she addressed it in a bizarre video (see below). “Did I just wake up to some motherf–kin' hot, steamy, pissy-smelling tea?” Toni begins. “Did that motherf–kin' n—- Caitlyn Jenner, AKA Brucey — yeah, big balls, little dick, him. Look at them motherf–kin' Wheaties shorts.” “This motherf–kin' n—-, because he's a man, dressing and pretending to be a woman,” Toni says. It takes her a long, long time to get to her point, because she has to stop and be a transphobic garbage person for a while — at this point in the video, she starts making fun of Caitlyn's voice. “How the f–k your stinkin' ass n—-, 'cause you got a dick, n—-, you was born a man, n—-,” she goes on. “You gonna down your f–kin' son on here, say he's stupid instead of saying something encouraging?” She adds that Caitlyn definitely knows Blac Chyna, and that the two of them have even met — this is where she calls Caitlyn a “f–ckin' f—–.” At the end of the video, Toni tells Caitlyn to call her, but we have a feeling that she never, ever will. Because as bothersome as Caitlyn Jenner can be, she definitely has more class than Tokyo Toni. Not that that's really an achievement. Maryam Mirzakhani, an Iranian who became the first woman to win math’s most prestigious prize, died Saturday after a four-year battle with breast cancer. She was 40 years old. In 2014, Mirzakhani was awarded the Fields Medal, which is commonly referred to as the “Nobel Prize for Mathematics” in order for those outside of the industry to fully grasp its importance. It’s only given out once every four years and Mirzakhani earned the distinction for her work on dynamical systems and complex geometry. Along with being the first female, she was also the first Iranian to garner the medal, which was created in 1936. Born in Tehran, Mirzakhani came to the United States in order to attend graduate school at Harvard University. She started working as a professor at Stanford University in 2008 and the school confirmed her passing on Saturday via its website. “Maryam is gone far too soon, but her impact will live on for the thousands of women she inspired to pursue math and science,” said Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne in a statement, adding: “Maryam was a brilliant mathematical theorist, and also a humble person who accepted honors only with the hope that it might encourage others to follow her path. “Her contributions as both a scholar and a role model are significant and enduring, and she will be dearly missed here at Stanford and around the world.” For the final four years of her life, Mirzakhani battle breast cancer, which eventually spread to her bone marrow. In response to her passing, Iranian-American scientist Firouz Naderi shared his grief on Instagram, writing the following on Instagram: “A light was turned off today… It breaks my heart.” He later emphasized that Mirzakhani was a “genius, but also a daughter, a mother and a wife.” Mirzakhani once famous said that mathematics made her feel like a detective. “It is fun – it’s like solving a puzzle or connecting the dots in a detective case,” she said after winning the Fields Medal, according to NPR. “I felt that this was something I could do, and I wanted to pursue this path.” May she rest in peace. If you keep up with the comings and goings of Jenelle Evans, then one, bless your heart, because you sure are trooper, huh? And two, you know that she hasn’t gotten along with her mother , Barbara Evans, for a very, very long time. Even back in the first season of Teen Mom 2, we saw Jenelle and Barbara get into horrific fights — mostly because Jenelle couldn’t seem to comprehend the idea of being responsible. She left her newborn son, little baby Jace, at home while she went out partying at night, and she expected her mom to pick up her slack. Meanwhile, Barbara had (and still has) a job, but she still cared for Jace throughout the nights while Jenelle was out, and during some mornings when she was too tired to parent. Eventually she signed temporary custody over to Barbara, with the understanding that “temporary” custody could mean she’d get him back in a few months or that Babs would have custody until Jace turned 18. After that, Barbara acted as a full-time parent to Jace while Jenelle ran off with various boyfriends, got addicted to heroin, etc. The kid will be eight years old next month, and Barbara still has full custody of him . And, according to Jenelle, that’s why she’s “lost all respect” for her mother. Seriously. “We don’t talk much,” she admits in a new interview with Us Weekly. “We only talk about Jace and meeting up to drop him off or pick him up and other than that, we aren’t talking.” The issue, she says, is that she’s “frustrated” that Barbara just won’t give her custody of Jace. “I told her,” she claims, “if you want to be back in my life in any way, you can give me back my son and we can start from there.” “As long as I don’t have Jace, I don’t see us having a real relationship.” Does Jenelle not understand anything ? It’s not like Barbara can simply change her mind and give Jace to Jenelle — she’s not keeping him to spite her. She stepped up when Jenelle was in a really dark place, and she’s been the only real parent Jace has ever known. And really, it’s only been a year or so since Jenelle’s had her life together. For several years, she was completely out of control. As she admitted in another recent interview, she almost died of a heroin overdose — shouldn’t she be grateful for Barbara and how she’s dedicated so much of herself to Jace when she couldn’t? Also, just a couple of months ago, Jenelle agreed to an official visitation schedule for Jace. Instead of going to trial and possibly getting custody of her son — the thing she’s said she’s wanted for years — she agreed to go to mediation with Barbara, and their lawyers worked out their new schedule with the new rules . That was her opportunity to get Jace back, but she’s still saying she’s waiting on Barbara to just hand him over. Again, does she not understand anything?! In the interview, she also says that “Ever since the court date, I haven’t filmed with her. I think it’ll just be pick up and drop offs unless my director really pushes.” “As for me and my mom on camera together having a conversation? No, you won’t be seeing that.” Which is sad, because we did see them have a nice moment in a sneak peek for the upcoming season. We should have known it wouldn’t last. Sad news out of Hollywood today, as one of the most revered horror film directors of the modern era has passed away. It was reported this afternoon that George A. Romero, director of the Night Of the Living Dead series and creator of the zombie film genre, has died unexpectedly at the age of 77. Romero’s death was confirmed by his longtime manager, Chris Roe. “Legendary filmmaker George A. Romero passed away on Sunday July 16, listening to the score of ‘The Quiet Man,’ one of his all-time favorite films, with his wife, Suzanne Desrocher Romero, and daughter, Tina Romero at his side,” read a statement issued by Roe. “He died peacefully in his sleep, following a brief but aggressive battle with lung cancer, and leaves behind a loving family, many friends, and a filmmaking legacy that has endured, and will continue to endure, the test of time.” Romero rose to fame in the late ’60s, following the surprise success of his first film, Night Of the Living Dead . The movie spawned five sequels, including the most recent installment, 2009’s Suvival Of the Dead . Romero’s knack for blending scares and social commentary resulted in an entirely new subgenre and helped horror films to gain increased respect from both critics and mainstream audiences. As many are pointing out today, it’s impossible to overstate Romero’s impact on popular culture. He’s been cited as a major influence by such beloved genre auteurs as Stephen King and Joss Whedon, and though he publicly expressed his disdain for the series, there would be no Walking Dead franchise were it not for the aesthetic pioneered by Romero. In addition to his wildly popular zombie films, Romero has received acclaim for helming such horror films as Season Of the Witch , Martin , and The Crazies . Tributes to Romero from some of the biggest names in the industry have been pouring in on social media: “Sad to hear my favorite collaborator–and good old friend–George Romero has died.
