Kim Kardashian: Helping in Haiti

Might Kim Kardashian actually be using her fame for the benefit of someone else for a change? Or is her PR team simply orchestrating opportunities to improve her floundering image? The answer is most likely a combination of each, but the facts are these: Kim is currently in Haiti – along with Kris Jenner, designer Donna Karen and actresses Patricia Arquette and Maria Bello – as part of We Advance, an organization that aims to “advance the health, safety and well being of women throughout Haiti,” according to its website. “She’s been there for two days,” an insider tells Us Weekly . “She says it’s amazing!” Kardashian also served the homeless for Thanksgiving last month and while it’s impossible not to doubt the motives of this reality star’s every move, at least these causes are being helped in some way through her actions. No matter how self-serving they may be at their core.

Ali Lohan: Still Really Freaking Skinny

Just days after she shot down rumors that she’s undergone plastic surgery and/or is an anorexic waif, Lindsay Lohan’s 17-year-old sister Ali is still really, really skinny. Like, almost alarmingly so. The aspiring model showed off an equally troubling transformation heading to a model casting in Beverly Hills, according to Us , which has an eye-opening pic. Clad in tight jeans, boots and a tucked-in white shirt, Ali Lohan (who now goes by Aliana Lohan) appeared alarmingly gaunt and pale, with stick thin arms and legs. The whole fam has been either “cracking up” or offended by the Ali Lohan plastic surgery speculation, specifically that she had procedures done to alter her face. Lindsay Lohan Playboy Cover: Leaked Online!

Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover was supposed to be unveiled during the star’s visit to Ellen on December 15, but (Li)lo and behold, it’s been leaked a week early! Or at least a grainy cellphone pic of it has. The cover was first posted by The Insider , and is actually pretty safe for work, featuring Lindsay Lohan nude and covered by a sizzling red Playboy logo. Whether this premature leak will help boost or hurt sales of the much-touted issue, which features Lindsay channeling Marilyn Monroe , is another story. Take a look at it after the jump … Ohh yeah . Guys, you even able to contain yourselves right now? On the one hand, it’s hot stuff. According to some sources, Marc Anthony is back tearing up JLo’s luscious loins: Guess Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony aren’t such bitter exes after all. Filming their talent competition Q’Viva! The Chosen in Puerto Rico Nov. 8, the former couple hooked up, an insider tells Us Weekly. Anthony, 43, was spotted picking up Lopez, 42, at the airport — and “Marc never stayed in his hotel room,” the source says. And the twosome, who put a fork in their seven-year marriage this past July, are destined to hook up again, pals say. Although Lopez is casually dating backup dancer Casper Smart, one friend predicts she and Anthony (father to her twins Emme and Max, 3) will be intimate again in December while shooting Q’Viva! “It’s inevitable,” the friend says. Marc has this hold over her.” The split, says the friend has been an “emotional roller coaster” for the superstar. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore Trying to Mend Relationship, Insider Claims

Ashton Kutcher reacted with shock and ignorance to Joe Paterno’s firing last week, creating quite an uproar when he accidentally defended a man who helped cover up a child abuse scandal at Penn State. Many followers couldn’t help but wonder: How could Kutcher have been unaware of this controversy ?!? It’s simple, an insider tells The New York Post : the actor has been living in a constant “bubble” for weeks now. “He works 12-hour days, is trying to save his marriage and is involved in the management of close to a dozen Internet companies, so he didn’t really know what he had done until it was too late,” this source claims . “He feels terrible.” About that marriage… is there still hope for Ashton and Demi Moore? “They both want to work things out,” the mole added. “They are doing a lot of talking and Kabbalah counseling. Despite all that has happened, when it comes down to it, they both really love each other.” It’s been a “painful time,” for Moore, this friend concluded, referring to chatter over her severe weight loss and gaunt figure. But she and Kutcher “need each other” and reportedly aren’t ready to file for divorce any time soon.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries: Behind the Break Up

With Kim Kardashian having filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, numerous theories are flying around for why this marriage couldn’t last longer than 73 days. The most prominent being: D’uh! They were never really in love! They pocketed millions of dollars and made fools out of millions of fans. it’s difficult to dispute this notion. Other sources claim the couple’s living arrangements were an issue, as Kris wanted to settle down in Minnesota, but Kim clamored for life in Los Angeles. It seems hard to believe this topic would actually lead to divorce at this point in the pair’s lives, however, considering Kris will be flying around half the year anyway for his job in the NBA, while Kardashian spends every other weekend traveling to a different location for… whatever the heck she does for a living. So… what went wrong?!? Hilariously, an insider tells TMZ the main point of contention rested in the fact that Humphries grew too fame-obsessed during the relationship. He was reportedly looking to brand himself with colognes and appearances. He began “chasing fame,” the source claims , quoting Kim as saying to a pal recently: “He’s not in f**king Hollywood. He plays sports.” Yes, folks, Kim Kardashian was angry because someone else – the man she supposedly loved! – wanted to make money without actually putting in any work. Situation Sues Over GTL Trademark Infringement

Gym, tan, lawsuit? It’s another ugly legal situation for Mike Sorrentino. This time, the Jersey Shore star wants to make sure his GTL trademark is intact, which means suing a random ass guido-themed lifestyle company for ripping off The Situation’s brand. The lawsuit has been filed … but does it have merit? Don’t cry, Mike … it’s gonna be alright dawg . Sitch’s cease and desist letter to a website called MyGTLFuel (dot) com claims they’d better quit exploiting his trademark or legal action will be a-comin’. The site, which sells everything from energy shots to tanning lotion, hasn’t gone anywhere yet, as its owner, Dana Valentino, says there’s no trademark. According to Valentino, Sitch applied for the “GTL” trademark, but doesn’t legally own it … yet. He wants to settle this amicably but NOT close up shop. Mike is also involved in a legal dispute with Abercrombie .

Zachary Quinto Comes Out as Gay

It’s long been suspected, but former Heroes star Zachary Quinto made the announcement this week: he’s gay. Coming off a performance on stage in Angels in America – playing a character who abandons his AIDS-stricken boyfriend – Quinto spoke to New York Magazine this week and said the off-Broadway play was “the most challenging thing I’ve ever done as an actor, and the most rewarding,” adding: “At the same time, as a gay man, it made me feel like there’s still so much work to be done, and there’s still so many things that need to be looked at and addressed.” Quinto will next be seen on the FX drama American Horror Story .
