Austin Mahone is feeling especially hot at the moment. But it’s not due to the singer’s handsome mug. It’s a result of an illness he’s come down with that has forced the artist to postpone at least one concert date. “I’ve never felt so bad,” Mahone wrote on Instagram today, along with the following photo of him in the hospital. Mahone came down with a 103 fever and a case of the flu early Friday and won’t be able to perform in Miami tonight or Orlando tomorrow night. “It’s Doctor’s orders,” the artist Tweeted. At the moment, the Miami show will take place on October 22 and the Miami concert has been rescheduled for November 1. “I can’t believe this is happening its my first tour I’m so upset. I feel like I’m letting you all down,” wrote Mahone, who joined Taylor Swift on a number of her shows earlier this year. But that’s silly, of course. You go ahead and get better, Austin. Your fans will be there for you upon your return.
The Fifty Shades of Grey casting rumor carousel continues unabated tonight, with the newest name tied to the project being one who isn’t on most people’s radar: Luke Bracey. The Australian hunk, 24, is said to be one of the current frontrunners to replace Charlie Hunnam, who abruptly bailed on the project a week ago. “Luke is at the top of the list,” the insider says, noting that he has discussed the role and chemistry testing is planned with co-star Dakota Johnson. Luke Bracey is best known as Trey Palmer on the Aussie soap Home and Away , and as Leighton Meester’s love interest in the 2011 film Monte Carlo . While making that motion picture, he grew close with Selena Gomez . Earlier this year, after she split from Justin Bieber, the two were spotted holding hands. Other actors rumored to be in the running for 50 Shades include Jamie Dornan , Alexander Skarsgard, Christian Cooke, Theo James and Francois Arnaud. Whoever gets the nod has big shoes to fill. He was later spotted with Khloe, 29, on the same day that it was announced his mother-in-law Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce had sensationally separated. The decision left Destiny, 13, and Lamar Jr., 10, “disappointed and saddened,” a source close to the children told RadarOnline.com. “The kids had expected to see their father this weekend,” the insider revealed. “They were shattered that the visit was canceled. It was to be the first time Destiny and Lamar Jr. had spent anytime with their father since the cheating and drug allegations surfaced. “In the past, when things were normal, Lamar would call and video chat with the kids on a very regular basis. Khloe even actually organized numerous visits for the kids to come to Los Angeles.” Odom, 33, has not seen the children in months, the insider added. “What made Lamar’s decision to cancel his trip all the more hard was that Destiny and Lamar Jr. know exactly what is going on with their dad because they have been teased at school,” the source added. As for why Odom chose to cancel his trip, one source suggested: “Lamar started partying several hours before his flight was scheduled to take off. A couple in Missouri shared some huge news last week. Literally. Jessica Helmers, gave birth to a 13-pound, 8-ounce baby girl named Karsyn on Friday. “I was tickled,” said Jessica. “I still can’t believe she weighed over 13 pounds.” 13-Pound Baby Doctors confirmed it as well. Karsyn Raleigh Helmers was born and weighed in at 13 pounds, 8 ounces. She was delivered by c-section right on time. The new father, Wesley Helmers, said he still can’t believe the numbers. “They called me in there and did all the other measurements,” he said. “They wanted me to see the weight and as soon as it said 13 pounds, 8 ounces I was like, ‘Umm, how am I going to explain this one to the bunch.'” A good question. As for Jessica, she says she’s looking forward to arm workouts with Karsyn. That should help shed the baby weight quickly, if it’s any consolation …
