My name is Thayane and I’m a BRAZILIEBER! I didn’t…

My name is Thayane and I’m a BRAZILIEBER! I didn’t meet Justin yet but I can say that I’ve had one of the best moments of my life at the concert! Firstly, I was really excited to Justin come to Brazil. When the dates came out, I was really really happy and nervous at the same time. Justin has a lot of fans in the whole world and here, in Brazil, it’s not different. I knew to get VIP tickets for his concert, I’d have to sacrifice some things, but I don’t regret anything. I spent 3 days in a big line to buy tickets for the concert. It was crazy! There, I made many friendships with amazing beliebers, you can see in the pictures! It was very difficult staying under the HARD Rio De Janeiro sun, but I’d to do everything again! On the day of the concert, I was so happy. I wasn’t believing that I was there. It was crazy! I was waiting since the beginning of 2010 for that moment…it was a dream came true.I don’t have words to describe that day! It was FANTASTIC. I saw Justin so close. He was so adorable. When he said, ”I don’t wanna see any Brazilian beliebers crying today because when U smile I smile,” I was just screaming like a crazy person! He’s my inspiration for life. I love him so much. To see him in my country, in my city, singing to us, BRAZILIEBERS, it was AMAZING! I’ll always remember that day like one of the best days of my life!Like I said when I started to write, I didn’t meet Justin yet, but NEVER SAY NEVER! I’ll never give up because Justin taught me to always believe in my dreams.  This video shows Justin singing one of the more inspirations songs to me ever, NEVER SAY NEVER! The quality is not one of the best because I was jumping a lot, but it will always be with me.   -@JustinBLoves_br & @ThayaneDs ’ Read the rest here: My name is Thayane and I’m a BRAZILIEBER! ‘Three Musketeers’: Five Things You Need To Know

Before seeing Orlando Bloom and Logan Lerman in action, check out these fun facts. By Eric Ditzian Orlando Bloom and Milla Jovovich in “The Three Musketeers” Photo: Summit Entertainment When you’re sequestered in a London hotel during the finest weekend of U.K. weather that anyone in that virtually sun-free territory can remember, you tend to learn a few things. People get a little loopy. They speak off the cuff. Such is the situation MTV News found itself in earlier this month during a press day for “The Three Musketeers,” when we ended up learning a few surprising things about director Paul W.S. Anderson’s 3-D take on the classic Alexandre Dumas novel, an adaptation that stays true to the original’s creative core but takes joyful liberties no one in the 17th century could ever have imagined. Read on for five rather surprising things you need to know about “The Three Musketeers,” which hit theaters Friday (October 21). Lerman’s Crazy Hair As we first noticed when set photos popped up last year during production, and as posters and trailers have subsequently made clear, star Logan Lerman rocks a very Jim Morrison-like hairdo to play D’Artagnan, a young chap looking to join the vaunted Musketeers. But Lerman didn’t grow his hair out for the role, nor did he slap on a wig every day. “It’s extensions,” he told us. “It was really uncomfortable. A wig would have been a more comfortable choice. I felt ridiculous walking around [off set]. I just had a beanie on all the time.” Bloom’s Anti-“Pirates” Preference At this point, after the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, Orlando Bloom approaches anything involving swords and seafaring with caution. What attracted the actor to “Musketeers” was that his director didn’t want him, for once, to play the good guy. “They wanted me to be part of the movie as Duke of Buckingham, as opposed to playing one of the Musketeers,” he said. “That sold me. The idea that I got to be the kind of villain, sort of a bad boy, bit of a rogue. Lot of fun. Fun, fun, fun! I get to be an arrogant prick and get away with it!” Jovovich’s 3-D Assets Milla Jovovich, who just so happens to be married to Anderson, insisted on doing all her fight training while wearing a corset — a noble, if highly uncomfortable, decision. For her husband’s film, though, she was willing to do whatever was necessary, including showing off her assets for Anderson’s 3-D cameras . “I did have to prepare a lot to make my cleavage what it was,” she said. “I had to eat a lot of pasta and get cinched really tightly into the corset to get the effect and let the girls do the acting for me. Each one took classes. Stanislavski. I think the left one is more talented than the right.” Bloom’s Rock Star Not only does the Duke of Buckingham act differently than Bloom’s “Pirates” good guy, he also dresses completely differently, often slipping into high heels and maintaining a wardrobe that contains every color you’d find in the rainbow (and many you would not). To pull it all off, Bloom turned to ’70s-era rock and roll. “The Duke had a questionable sexual background, no one was quite sure what his sexual flavor was or how many flavors he liked to participate in,” Bloom explained. “He’s a very outspoken and outrageous character. So for me, I just got to swagger through it all. You don’t want the costumes wearing you. You’ve got to wear the costumes. “Paul wanted the Musketeers to be superheroes and for me to be a kind of rock star. So I went with David Bowie from Ziggy Stardust,” he added. “He wore some of those outrageous costumes onstage. So with the Duke, he just owns every square foot that he steps in. He’s like, ‘This is all my territory.’ ” Anderson’s Da Vinci Inspiration Easily the most eye-popping features of “The Three Musketeers” are the fantastical airships he introduces to 17th-century Europe: part ship, part hot-air balloon, totally steampunk . In the film, the ships are said to be built from Leonardo da Vinci’s actual designs. The truth, however, owes more to artistic license than Renaissance ingenuity. “We did take our inspiration from his real etchings of airships,” Anderson told us. “We felt that Da Vinci had designed so many extreme, futuristic things that we could take the liberty of saying this is one of his designs and have this flying galleon.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Three Musketeers.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Florence And The Machine Reveal Next Single: Exclusive

‘No Light, No Light’ is next off upcoming Ceremonials, Florence Welch tells MTV News. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Rya Backer Florence Welch Photo: MTV News On November 1 in the U.S. (October 31 in the U.K., which is a decidedly more fitting date, we must add) Florence and the Machine will return with Ceremonials, the bewitching, ethereal follow-up to their breakout Lungs album . And like that debut disc, the new one finds frontwoman/mastermind Florence Welch drawing from a grab bag of influences, both musical and lyrical, only pushed to the nth degree. To wit, the first two songs released from the album — “What the Water Gave Me” and “Shake It Off” — take their inspiration from the paintings of Frida Kahlo, the death of writer Virginia Woolf and a rather blistering hangover, to name just a few. In fact, this time around, it’s gotten so all-over-the-place that even Welch is having a difficult time keeping track, as she told MTV News. “Literally, a song can be about seven different things,” she sighed. “I do think of songs almost as collages of different images, and so the references will just come from all over the place, and I don’t really know how they’ll all fit together until the song is finished.” The same holds true for the album’s title, which was inspired by a 1970s art installation Welch had seen, and the eclectic, electric rave-ups of her live performances. But robes, pasta and balloons, too. “It was an art installation done in the ’70s, this video piece all done on Super 8, this big procession of kind of coquette-style hippies and all these different colored robes and masks, and it was all to do with color, really saturated, brightly colored pastas and balloons,” Welch explained. “I saw it a couple years ago, and it was called ‘Ceremonials’ and then, like, Roman numerals after it. And the word sort of stuck with me, and I think the whole idea of performance, and kind of putting on this outfit and going out almost to find some sort of exorcism or absolution, to kind of get outside yourself, there’s a sense of ceremony to it.” That same pastiche of influences holds true for the next single off the album, which, in a bit of an exclusive, Welch revealed during our interview (even though she probably wasn’t supposed to). “I do [know what it’s going to be] but I don’t think [I’m supposed to say],” she said. “I think it’s going to be ‘No Light, No Light.’ … It was the first song we wrote for this next record, actually. And the intro was written on my tour bus at four in the morning going to Amsterdam. We had gone out for [Machine member] Rob [Ackroyd]’s birthday to an all-night restaurant in Brussels called Midnights. We went to this funny restaurant and then got on the tour bus and everyone was a bit drunk and it was like, ‘Yeah, let’s write a song.’ “And we recorded the sound of the bus moving, a real drone-y bass sound, and that’s the intro, and then the tour bus arrived in Amsterdam [and we were saying], ‘Let’s go toast this song! We will find a bar that will serve us drinks at 7 in the morning! Come!’ ” she laughed. “So we trotted off into Amsterdam and managed to find a sports bar that would only serve us Midori. It was bright-green drinks and me and [Machine member] Isa [Summers] kind of looking like crazy old ladies.” Related Artists Florence + the Machine

Johnny Depp Calls His ‘Dark Shadows’ Vampire ‘Classic’

‘These vampire movies have come out, and you go, ‘Well, nobody looks like a vampire, man,’ ‘ Depp tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Johnny Depp Photo: Pascal Le Segretain/ Getty Images Anytime Johnny Depp and Tim Burton get together for a film, fans know to expect the unexpected, particularly with their retellings of familiar stories like “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Alice in Wonderland” and their next highly anticipated project, the big-screen adaptation of ’60s vampire soap “Dark Shadows.” The fan fervor surrounding “Shadows” hit a high point recently when photos leaked of a heavily made-up Depp in his full Barnabas Collins costume , followed by the production’s first official photo of the entire cast posed family portrait-style and Burton in action on set . When MTV News caught up with Depp recently as he promoted “The Rum Diary,” which hits theaters October 28, we asked what inspired the highly stylized look of the character. “The memory that I have of watching the show as a kid, Jonathan Frid and what he did with that character was the main inspiration, for sure,” he said of the actor who originated the role of Barnabas. “But also the idea of, over the years, these vampire movies have come out and vampire TV shows and stuff like that, and you go, ‘Well, nobody looks like a vampire, man. What happened?’ “I adored Dracula, still do. I adored [everyone] from Bela Lugosi to Christopher Lee. I adore Nosferatu, [played by] Max Schrek. I adore all those wonderful sort-of horror films. And it was an opportunity really, an opportunity to sort of go into what really doesn’t exist [onscreen] so much anymore, which is classic monster makeup and a classic monster character,” Depp explained. “So that was really the inspiration Tim and I talked about.” Depp and Burton’s “Dark Shadows,” which also stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, Chloe Moretz, Jackie Earle Hayley and Eva Green, will be released May 11, 2012. Oscar Host Eddie Murphy Will Commit ‘200’ Percent

‘He’s a huge movie star. He has huge international appeal,’ producer Brett Ratner tells us on Emmy Awards red carpet. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Eddie Murphy Photo: Bruno Vincent/ Getty Images The American public may no longer be convinced about Eddie Murphy ‘s enduring comedic gifts, based on the number of folks who purchased tickets to “Imagine That” and “Meet Dave.” Even Eddie Murphy may no longer be convinced about Eddie Murphy’s enduring comedic gifts . But one man with no such doubt is Brett Ratner , who is producing the 2012 Academy Awards and who has tapped Murphy to host. “I think there’s no question about it. He’s the greatest,” Ratner told us Sunday night at the Emmy Awards about Eddie taking on the gig and slaying the crowd. “My first idea was the show had to go in the direction of more comedy with a single host, and there’s nobody better on that stage than Eddie Murphy.” “I grew up watching ‘ Raw ‘ and ‘ Delirious ‘ and being a big fan of him,” Ratner added. “He’s a huge movie star. He has huge international appeal. There’s nobody better. He’s a pro. The guy is a pro.” That’s certainly true, even if it has been a couple of decades since Eddie’s days as the foulmouthed king of the standup comedy world. Ratner, for his part, appears to be attempting to hit a sort of Eddie Murphy reset button, for years trying to kick-start another ” Beverly Hills Cop ” film and now coming out this fall with ” Tower Heist ,” a flick that finds the comedian cussing and riffing like it’s the ’80s all over again. Perhaps for Murphy, in Ratner he trusts. Which is why, according to the filmmaker, Eddie took zero convincing to take on the Oscar gig. “It’s not the kind of job you want to convince anyone to do. They either want to do it or they don’t,” Ratner told us, adding that Eddie is going to commit more than 150 percent effort to the job. “200, not 150! 200!” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Jennifer Lopez Causes Man Frenzy In ‘Papi’ Video

Paul Hunter-directed clip finds the singer in the middle of love-struck street riot, where men from all walks of life chase after her. By James Dinh Jennifer Lopez on the set of her new music video “Papi” Photo: Photo by Miguel Aguilar/Pacific Coast News If Jennifer Lopez wanted to make a post-breakup statement about her alluring charm, she sure succeeded with the “Papi,” video which debuted in its entirety on Monday (September 19). Directed by Paul Hunter, J.Lo’s just-dropped visual shows a chaotic frenzy-turned-chase, wherein the pop star attracts the attention of hoards of men as she strolls down a city street. Lopez begins the five-minute clip by chatting it up with her apartment mail attendant Lisa, confessing that her Army lover has not returned back to her. Lisa offers the singer a cookie that she claims will make “your love come back.” Unfortunately, Jenny from the Block takes a chunk out of the cookie instead of a “small bite,” marking the beginning of the captivating spell she unwittingly casts on every man she passes by. The magic takes 24 hours to take effect as Lopez embarks on a walk the following day and realizes her sudden irresistible allure. Lopez’s charm isn’t restricted to any particular type of “papi” as she draws notice from a corporate businessman, a gardener and even a high-flying motorcyclist. Upon entering her car, her admirers become more and more aggressive and chase her down the street. Just like many of her clips, “Papi” offers some comical choreography when the entertainer realizes that her league of men move in synch with her, offering her a way to escape. Cue the video’s dance break. But Lopez’s tactic doesn’t last for long as the men grab hold of her until her uniform-clad lover walks off a bus and reunites with the pop star. “The craziest thing happened,” Lopez says in an attempt to explain the fiasco to her lover. Hunter and Lopez have previously worked together on a number of videos, including “If You Had My Love,” “Feelin’ So Good” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.” “Papi” was produced by hit-maker RedOne and serves as the third single off J.Lo’s comeback album Love? In the clip for her previous single, “I’m Into You,” the pop singer hinted about the release of the club-ready track with another mid-video dance break. Earlier this month, Lopez explained the inspiration behind the song when she called into “On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.” “I was working in the studio with RedOne and his guys, and at the time, I was always kind of like, I always use the word ‘papi,’ ” she recalled. “And they were like, ‘We’re going to write a song called ‘Papi,’ and we just wrote the song about loving somebody and just celebrating that.” Lopez is expected to make her debut performance of the dance track at the iHeartRadio Festival, which will also feature sets from Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Jay-Z and many others, later this month. Maria More’s Midday Motivation | Action vs. “Inspiration”

More here:

Inspiration is great but ACTION is what puts you closer to your dream. ACTION is what generates inspiration. I think a lot of times, we see others doing well and “say” we’re inspired by their success, but it ends up stopping there. Don’t just “say” you want to start a business; go apply for a business license. Don’t just “say” you want to lose weight, go to the gym and start eating healthy. Desire is not enough if you want to be successful, Make a move and ACT on your inspiration!

What She Wore: Angela Simmons At New York Fashion Week [EXCLUSIVE]

Read the original:

New York Fashion Week is coming to a close, but we’re still catching up with celebs left and right. We got the chance to speak with Angela Simmons about her goth-inspired get-up backstage at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2012 show. What was your inspiration for tonight’s outfit? It was just all about these shoes. We’ve seen “Jesus pieces,” but I’ve never seen a crucifix-detailed clutch. How did you choose that? It’s “Our Lord and Savior”! You’re rocking a serious dark lip tonight, who made that? This is Nars. It’s actually a lip pencil. It’s their “Velvet Matte Lip Pencil” in Train Bleu. Who is your style icon? I really look up to Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs & Tom Ford, designers that have successful innovative lines. And Rachel Roy! She’s amazing. I’ve really been watching her, she’s like a mentor to me. What’s the best advice she’s given you? So many things, but basically she told me something like this: the more you learn, the less you know. There’s always something to learn no matter where you’re at. It’s constant. What’s new with Pastry? We’re always expanding Pastry. We have the Varsity Collection out right now and it’s doing really well! We also caught up with Angela at the Charlotte Ronson runway show!
