A week ago Sunday, the birth of Kourtney Kardashian’s third child captivated the celebrity gossip world, and not just because this happened to fall on her first-born’s birthday. The spawn of Kimye being named after a direction may be the dumbest thing in human history. At the same time, if she doesn’t grow up to have a signature fragrance called North by North West, this is not a planet we wanna be living on. A unanimous, first ballot Celebrity Baby Name Hall of Fame inductee, Reign (a boy) may or may not have been a tribute to his father, The Lord Scott Disick. [Note: Scott became a British Lord on Keeping Up With the Kardashians . Regardless of the inspiration, Kourtney and Scott are not the first celebrities to treat the act of naming a child like it were a parlor game of Can You Top This. They’re not even the first members of their own extended family, in fact. Not unlike Reign’s first cousin North West, who was named as part of Kanye’s “art,” Kourt and Scott probably thought they were being trendy and cool. Other stars just mailed it in or were likely high as a kite at the time. We weren’t there for the internal discussions, of course, but coming up with baby names this absurd takes real commitment and/or total aloof ambivalence. Either way, it kind of deserves our appreciation. At least in a sense. She’s the real army of one… Afghan Mother Kills 25 Taliban Members In Bloody Gunfight To Avenge Son’s Death Via DailyMail : A grieving Afghan mother took bloody revenge on the Taliban militants who gunned down her son, killing 25 and injuring five of them during a seven hour gun battle. Reza Gul watched helplessly as her son died while he manned a village checkpoint with his small team of police officers in the lawless Farah province. But flanked by her daughter and daughter-in-law, she led a counter strike on his attackers killing 25 militants and wounding another five during a ferocious seven hour gun battle. ‘I couldn’t stop myself and picked up a weapon,’ Gul told TOLO News. ‘I went to the check post and began shooting back.’ Her daughter-in-law Seema added: ‘The fighting was intensified when we reached the battlefield along with light and heavy weapons. We were committed to fight until the last bullet.’ She added that the combats zone was strewn with Taliban bodies when the fighting was over. A spokesman for the Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior told the agency it was a symbol of a public uprising. The Taliban is yet to comment about the incident. Somebody might be in trouble for this one… Monyetta Shaw And Sheree Buchanan Admit They Slept With Their Exes After They’d Broken Up “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” star and singer/songwriter Kandi Burruss deputed the new season of her “Kandi Koated Nights” web series with the ladies of “Atlanta Exes,” Christina Johnson, Monyetta Shaw and Sheree Buchanan. The premiere show was so popular they had their own #BREAKTHEINTERNET experience after so many people tuned in they experienced a complete system overload. Teresa Giudice: Fired By Crisis Manager For Trying to Land a Spot in Orange is the New Black Jail!

The ongoing saga of Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Here’s a quick run-down to bring you up to speed: Earlier this month, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison . She tried to get out of it (even though she’d signed a plea deal); she gave some lucrative pre-prison interviews, and then she hired an ex-con “crisis manager.” Within days, the crisis manager – Wendy Feldman – had scored Teresa a tell-all book deal and helped her land a cushy prison assignment. It looked like there was finally a silver lining in the dark cloud that is Teresa’s life. So naturally, she had to go and paint it black: Feldman canned Teresa as a client this week after the reality star “repeatedly” ignored her advice and went behind her back to contact lawyers, judges, and the Bureau of Prisons. It seems Teresa badly wants to be assigned to Danbury Correctional Facility, the site that served as the inspiration for the Netflix series Orange is the New Black. Teresa went behind Feldman’s back to request that the BOP send her to Danbury. She claims it’s so that she can be closer to her husband and kids, but c’mon…she probably just wants to meet Crazy Eyes. Mind you, Teresa was already assigned to a facility affectionately referred to as ” Camp Cupcake ” due to its lax rules and friendly staff. Feldman had reportedly worked hard to get Teresa such a coveted assignment and was understandably pissed when Teresa threw it all away in hopes of gettin’ it on with Donna from That 70s Show. Feldman now says that she’ll never work with the Giudice family again.
