Halima Aden Makes Catwalk Debut Wearing Hijab And Fur Coat For Yeezy Season 5 19-year-old Halima Aden was born in a Kenya refugee camp . Today, she walked in her very first fashion show for Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 5 during #NYFW. The recently-signed IMG model made big headlines last year when she competed in the Miss Minnesota pageant while wearing her hijab and a burkini during the normally skin-baring portion of the event. Halima is also the first model to wear a hijab in an H&M campaign last year. Kanye West had other ideas for her wardrobe in his show. Halima donned a badass full-length fur coat along wiht her hijab. It was easily the most eye-catching piece of the show. In the latest issue of InStyle , Queen chats with none other than Tracee Ellis Ross who was tapped by the publication to work as a guest editor for a piece on Queen’s confidence and reinvention. Queen, who got to don an $80,000 Fred Leighton diamond crown for the shoot, spoke on a number of topics including who she considers pop culture royalty… “I’ve been a fan of Solange Knowles from the beginning. The biggest artist in the world is her older sister, yet she never relied on that.” and her keys to a magical life. I used to get caught up in comparing myself, especially in terms of body type, but I realized that often the people I envied were missing important things that I had in abundance…It’s great to have plans and a vision for your life, but it’s more important to be open to the unexpected. Things got especially interesting however when Tracee asked her about her toughest career decision. According to Queen, it was the decision to play Cleo in “Set It Off” because of the stigmas attached to gay characters in the African-American community. “When I got the role of amateur bank robber Cleo Sims in Set It Off, I sat down with my younger siblings and told them, ‘Listen, I’m playing a gay character. Your classmates might tease you or say negative things about it. But I’m doing it because I believe I can bring positive attention to the gay African-American community, and I believe that I can do a great job as an actor.’” So it was hard for her to play Cleo because of her family, not because of the role itself. “Shans Of Sunset” Reality Star Reveals Secret Elopment Another day, another secret “celebrity” wedding! “Shahs of Sunset” fans will be happy to hear that one of the show’s stars, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi is married. The reality starlet shared the news on Instagram, but later deleted the post. Fortunately E! News grabbed the caption in time: “January 25, 2017 We walked into a courthouse just to see what type of paperwork is needed for getting married. They sarcastically told us there’s a small chapel we could go to and do it right then,” she captioned a touching video of the ceremony. “An hour later, we walked out of that chapel as husband & wife. We clearly weren’t dressed for it and I couldn’t stop laughing from shock… but f–k it… we’re not like ordinary people.” Anyone who has seen the show knows that GG is far from ordinary. We don’t know much about Shalom, but apparently GG isn’t the only reality star he’s dated. Fans pointed out that they remembered him from his relationship with Durrani on “Dash Dolls.” Hopefully things will be better with GG. The marriage reveal wasn’t the only post from Golnesa.
