Ever since Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou canceled their wedding last summer, things have looked bleak for the 90 Day Fiance couple. The newest trailer for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? showed them appear to have some huge fight over Azan’s (possible) infidelity. But it looks like they’ve overcome it, because Nicole is making sure her engagement ring catches your eye on social media. Nicole and Azan’s love story has stretched for ages, but it looks like the ride is far from over. “Feeling beautiful today,” Nicole captioned a cute selfie on Instagram. In the selfie, she is sporting her purple hair and her adorable cheeks. That’s not what holds your attention, however. It’s hard to see a diamond engagement ring up close and personal in a photo without taking notice. That is so sweet! Last summer, Nicole flew out with the intention of marrying Azan. Things didn’t quite work out as she had hoped, and she had to return from Morocco empty-handed. Her father explained at the time that the “timing” simply hadn’t worked out. It turns out that he meant that literally, because Nicole’s visa expired and she had to go back home. Nicole and Azan met on an international dating site. Nicole is American and Azan lives in Morocco. They appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance . Though they did not get married, they returned for Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Nicole has twice called off their wedding, and Azan cannot yet come to the United States because his K-1 visa was denied. They are one of the franchise’s longest-running couples. It’s no secret that Nicole and Azan have been engaged for ages. But it’s reassuring to see Nicole continuing to sport that ring on her finger. The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? trailer teased a whole lot, including a lot of fights. In the trailer, we see Nicole talking about something that Azan did — and while the word “infidelity” comes up, it’s unclear what it is. At one point, a question from a producer appears to make Nicole walk away and call Azan for a serious, semi-private discussion. We won’t know what happens until we watch the new season, which begins on April 28. Did Azan cheat on Nicole? Cheating is a known and widely feared risk in relationships, especially long-distance romances. But allow us to present another theory. Nicole had notably saved up money — a difficult endeavor — while working here in the States. She then gave a lot of that to Azan as an investment in a shop that he intends to open in Morocco. Is it possible that he did something with the money other than what Nicole had intended? If so, that would explain the serious tension. But that is purely speculation, in part because we cannot imagine giving thousands of dollars to someone we haven’t yet been able to marry. Especially not in Nicole’s situation. She’s a mother and she works hard for her cash. Now, maybe we’re being paranoid, or maybe Nicole is just a fool in love like so many others have been over the years. But she and Azan do seem to have something very genuine between them, despite their story’s ups and downs. This ring appears to be a promise that, whatever tension exploded late last year in front of TLC’s cameras, they worked through it. But when, oh when, will they get married? Acevedo says instead of Nicki responding to her invoice with a deposit, she responded with “girl, goodbye!” In lawsuit documents obtained by The Blast , the stylist was allegedly hired for Minaj in 2017 at the rate of $1,500 per day. Nicki allegedly hired the stylist to outfit her for nearly a month while she toured across the country. Acevedo claimed she tirelessly worked over 10 hours per day for the rapper over the course of 24 days while traveling around the United States. For Jazz Jennings, the complications after her bottom surgery were worth it, because she can now live as her authentic self without dysphoria. It also paid off for her show, I Am Jazz , whose ratings were through the roof. Now, the GLAAD Award winning reality series has been renewed for yet another season. The Wrap excitedly reports that I Am Jazz has been renewed by TLC. The show’s sixth season, which has now been greenlit, will air in 2020. Season 5 showcased some pivotal moments in Jazz’s life. Jazz, who is now 18, underwent bottom surgery, fulfilling her lifelong dream of having a vagina. Fans saw her grapple with complications — and get serious with a new boyfriend . Howard Lee, president and general manager of TLC, spoke about how excited he is for I Am Jazz to continue. “Jazz is the quintessential example of living authentically and embracing one’s true self,” Lee begins. “And,” his statement continues. “That is what TLC seeks to celebrate in all of our programming.” Some shows succeed more at that goal than others. “Jazz’s story has inspired viewers across America,” Lee notes. “And,” Lee says, Jazz’s show has “never more so than this past year.” He notes that viewers tuned in and watched Jazz “during the most important moment of her life.” That would be her gender confirmation surgery. “We are proud that Jazz and her family have allowed TLC to follow along on her journey,” he expresses. “And,” Lee concludes. “We look forward with great excitement to sharing the next chapter of her life with our devoted audience.” I Am Jazz ‘s eventful fifth season paid off where it counts — in viewership. Season six was it’s highest-rated season among women in the 18-49 range and in the 25-54 range. (Yes, there is some overlap there — but those are coveted demographics, especially since most television viewers are women) Season 5 averaged about 1.4 million viewers per episode. Overall, Season 5’s numbers were reportedly the highest in the show’s history. Jazz’s success is especially notable because so many people have tried to tear down the show — and her, personally. Notably, time after time, former Counting On star Derick Dillard has verbally attacked Jazz simply for existing as herself. He is not alone, unfortunately. Trans folks have always been among us, but never before have they been as visible to the public eye as during the past several years. Unfortunately, that makes them an easy target for bigots — and for any politician or entertainer who wishes to cater to bigots. Jazz hopes that sharing her story, with all of its ups and downs, will help to change hearts and minds. Weeks after the world learned that several well-heeled parents were ensnared by Operation Varsity Blues, the college admissions bribery scandal continues to make headlines. And of course, the public’s continued interest in the story is much to the chagrin of its principal players, including 19-year-old social media influencer Olivia Jade Giannulli. Olivia is the daughter of Full House actress Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Loughlin was among those arrested in connection with the scandal, and she stands accused of paying out $500,000 in bribes and participating in a scheme to convince the USC admissions board that her daughters are elite athletes. From the start, Olivia was one of the most high-profile participants in the scandal, not only because of her massive social media following, but also because she was upfront about the fact that she had no interest in attending college and was doing so only to appease her parents. As such, she became a sort of poster child for privilege and entitlement, but in the weeks since news of the scandal broke, some observers have reevaluated Olivia’s role and begun to consider her a victim rather than a perpetrator. These days, Olivia has dropped out of USC and is reportedly in hiding at her boyfriend’s house. Giannulli lost her deal with Sephora , as well as several other high-profile sponsorships, and insiders say she fully blames her overbearing parents. “Olivia has been staying with her boyfriend in Malibu. She’s not talking to her parents right now,” one source tells Us Weekly. “Olivia hasn’t been out with friends. She is completely in hiding right now,” the source continues. “Olivia is posting private stories on her Instagram, using the only-close friends option, to share her days on social media with her close circle.” In keeping with what we’ve been hearing so far, the source confirms that Giannulli is royally pissed at her parents and blames them for destroying her career as an influencer. “A lot of Olivia’s friends have been telling her not to be mad at her parents since they were just trying to do the best they could for her, but she doesn’t listen,” the source reveals. “Olivia feels she is the victim.” Cheer up, Olivia.
