The Grammy winner announced on Instagram that he will be taking a break from music to better learn the “world of God.” “I’m on a plane headed out the country on my first sabbatical. I’m going away to learn the Word of God, which I am admittedly very unfamiliar with,” the 25-year-old wrote earlier last weekend. “I’ve been brought up by my family to know Christ, but I haven’t taken it upon myself to really just take a couple days and read my Bible.” In addition, he added that he hasn’t always made religion a priority in his life, something he wants to remedy in the next 365 days, thanks to his newborn nephew Charlie Matthew. “I’m definitely guilty of not devoting time to [the Bible.] So I’m off to read and learn because the next generation of Bennett is here and I need to be able to give my nephew Charlie Matthew the knowledge and tools to F–K YALL UP.” Concluding, “But seriously he’s the first boy of the next line and he needs his uncle to be educated.So don’t bother me. Reports TMZ : We’ve learned Benzino was arrested back in January 2017 and charged with felony possession of THC oil gummies (22 grams), felony possession of 6 MDMA pills and misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of weed. According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, cops executed a search warrant at the producer’s ATL apartment and found the drugs in drawers and on the kitchen counters. He was arrested and posted $12k bail. Benzino’s legal team argued the search was illegal, but a judge ruled cops searched the pad legally. Fast forward to now … we’re told Benzino’s legal team will learn Wednesday in court when the case is headed to trial … which could be as soon as next month, if he doesn’t cop a plea. Throughout her brief stint on Teen Mom OG, Palin has been at the center of more episodes than any other cast member. Makes sense, right? You don't hire the daughter of an ex-Vice Presidential candidate and then NOT feature her prominently. But Bristol has taken to Instagram in order to blast producers for her portrayal, arguing that they are making her look bad on purpose because they need her to be a controversial figure — just like the woman she replaced, Farrah Abraham. An 11-year-old girl and her entire family received a hell of a shock when the girl opened a Sonic Drive-In hamburger. Within the wrapping was an ecstasy pill. Yes, someone absolutely went to jail over this. Three people, in fact. A family collected their order from a Sonic Drive-In in Texas. The family’s 11-year-old girl was opening her 4-year-old brother’s meal for him. Inside, she noticed an odd tablet within the wrapping. Cleverly, she neither ignored it nor ate it, and asked her parents if it was candy. Her parents were immediately suspicious, and took the pill to police, explaining where they had found it. Police tested it, and found that the tablet contained MDNA — also known as ecstasy. Taylor Police Chief Henry Fluck, who presumably joined the police after years of being bullied for his last name, shared the story at a press conference. Fluck revealed that it was not long after the field test results that they headed to Sonic to make an arrest. As it turns out, they made three arrests. Manager Tanisha Dancer, 30, was arrested. So were two other employees, Jonathan Roberson, 35, and Jose Molina, 22. Dancer’s initial arrest was on an outstanding felony larceny warrant from Guadalupe County. However, when police conducted a search of her person in Williamson County Jail, they found something a little more recent. She was, they discovered, in possession of three ecstasy pills. They booked her for possession of a controlled substance. Fluck’s statement mentions that the pills found on Dancer closely resembled the one found in the burger. (This is what ecstasy pills can look like, though these are not the pills from that case) Dancer was, of course, fired from Sonic. Following her arrest, she was also charged with endangering a child and delivering a controlled substance. Drugs may be a complicated issue, but no children should be finding them in their food. Whether it was malice or an accident, someone needs to be held accountable whenever something like this happens. Jonathan Roberson was arrested on four outstanding warrants. Those warrants include accusations of marijuana possession, theft, and driving without a license. It sounds like it may have just been his bad luck that he happened to be working at this particular Sonic on this particular day. According to police, Jose Molina was arrested on an accusation of possession of marijuana. it doesn’t sound like Molina had done anything wrong — just allegedly something illegal. Molina, at least, was released on $1,500 bond. Sonic released a statement on this scandal. “The franchisee takes guest safety and food safety very seriously,” the statement reads. “Local police are investigating this incident,” Sonic affirms. “And the franchisee is cooperating with police in their investigation,” “Each franchise organization is an independent employer and thus responsible for its own employment-related policies, practices, and decisions,” Sonic says. In other words, corporate doesn’t want to get sued for what one store did. That’s not going to reassure customers that they’re tkaing it seriously, howeve.r “The franchisee has terminated three employees in connection with this incident,” Sonic reports. On Monday, December 10, Josie Brooklyn Duggar turned nine years old. Though the Duggars are kind of nuts , the story of Josie’s premature birth at such a low weight tugged at the hearts of even their toughest critics. In honor of Josie’s birthday, the Duggar family shared throwback photos of her fight to live. On Instagram, the Duggar family posted a series of throwback pics of Josie. In two of the photos, she is in the urgent care nursery of the hospital. “Josie was born on December 10, 2009,” the caption reads. They remind fans that Josie was born “at 25 1/2 weeks gestation.” She was born about three months early, folks. “And,” the caption continues. “Weighed 1 pound 6 ounces.” That is extremely, dangerously underweight. After a lot of work and a lot of love and luck, Josie survived. “Today is a huge milestone for her,” the Duggar family wrote in their caption on Monday. “She is a healthy, happy 9 year old,” the caption affirmed. They noted that she’s a 9-year-old “that is full of energy.” That is heartwarming to hear. “We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers,” the Duggar family’s caption affirms. Many fans and followers sent the family and little Josie their prayers during her health crisis. “And,” the Duggars continued, they sent their thanks to “all of the doctors and nurses at Arkansas Children’s Hospital that saved her life.” They really beat the odds. “That was the most difficult time in our family’s life,” the captions expressed. “But,” the Duggars concluded. “By God’s grace Josie and our whole family made it through!” As you may recall, Michelle Duggar was diagnosed with preeclampsia just before Josie’s birth. Preeclampsia, which often results in dramatic swelling as the body retains water, can even be fatal for both mother and child. Fortunately, little Josie made it through. Fans who have followed the Duggars for the past decade and beyond still remember Josie’s harrowing fight for her life. “I will never forget hearing about Josie’s early birth,” writes one fan. The follower continues: “I followed your updates so closely.” When thinking about a particular experience like this that is etched into your memory, 2009 doesn’t seem like it was so long ago. “I know it has been hard sharing so much of your life publicly,” the fan admits. The follower concludes: but I want to thank you for showing god’s love through your family!!” That is so sweet and affirming! “I remember when Josie was born and so tiny,” notes another fan. The follower observes: “The power of prayer can do awesome things!” “So many people were praying for her (including myself)!” the fan writes, clearly expressing that they played a small role in Josie’s health battle. Josie herself is absolutely adorable. It is wonderful to see her grow and thrive (well, as much as anyone can thrive while growing up in a fertility cult on the fringes of society).
