Sad news from our favorite crew of tanning bed enthusiasts today. As you may have heard, Jersey Shore star Jenni Farley has separated from Roger Mathews after three years of marriage. The split is particularly heartbreaking, as Mathews has made it clear that he has no intention of giving up on the relationship. In a series of videos and social media posts, Mathews has pleaded with Farley to take him back . Alas, the famously hard-hearted JWoww seems to have no interest in a reconciliation. Sources close to the mother of two claim Farley has stated unequivocally that she’ll never get back together with Mathews . So fans were more than a little confused when Jenni posted pics of a Halloween photoshoot in which she posed alongside Roger and the couple’s two children. In fact, in the comments section of Farley’s Instagram post, many of her followers congratulated her on reconciling with Mathews: “JWoww is over Roger and as far as she is concerned, they aren’t getting back together,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life. “Jenni arranged a Halloween family photo shoot for daughter Meilani over the weekend because she’s obsessed with Disney and Moana, but that’s the only reason she did it.” The insider says Jenni and Roger are both committed to ensuring that the split is as painless as possible for their children. And so they’ll continue to participate in family functions together, but Farley has apparently made up her mind and plans to proceed with a divorce. “She’ll continue to put together family functions and it gives Roger hope, but there’s really no chance she will get back together with him,” the source adds. “It’s really important to Jenni to keep the kids lives as normal as possible,” the informant continues. “She and Roger are completely amicable and there’s no bad blood whatsoever, but for Jenni, they’ve grown apart. Roger wants her back, but it’s not going to happen. “They both love and respect one another, but Jenni feels they’ve kind of grown apart. Everything she’s doing right now is strictly for the kids and what’s in their best interest.” Both parties have confirmed that there was no infidelity or abusive behavior in their marriage, and Jenni’s decision to end the relationship was simply a result of a slow deterioration of affection. Earlier this year, 90 Day Fiance stars Azan Tefou and Nicole Nafziger canceled their wedding . But that doesn’t mean that they’ve ended their relationship. And now Nicole has revealed their plans for the future. How many (more) kids do they plan to have? Nicole and Azan are still trying to make their long-distance relationship work. But that hasn’t stopped them from planning for their future as a married couple. Recently, Nicole took to Instagram and answered fan questions. “How many kids do you and Azan planning on having?” a fan asked. “We want to add two more to our family!,” Nicole replied. “So 3 including May.” She followed that answer with a red heart emoji. (The fan wrote “Hassan,” a fairly popular name, rather than “Azan,” which was a simple accident) Nicole already has a daughter from her previous relationship. May is adorable and Nicole has said that she had no relationship with her baby daddy. That baby daddy’s identity remains shrouded in mystery, and it sounds like Nicole is just fine with that. In fact, Azan is the only father figure that May knows. Nicole has even received backlash for having May call him “daddy.” It is true that Azan lives something like 4,000 miles away. But May has seen Azan in Morocco. It appears that the two have really bonded. It’s understandable for fans to be uncertain about whether Nicole and Azan can make it work. Some objected to her calling him “daddy” simply because he is not her biological father. That, of course, is toxic. Plenty of adopted children call their parents or step-parents “mom” or “dad.” Calling a parent by nicknames like that is normal and healthy. Some fan reservations arise from Nicole and Azan’s struggles to make it work. As we mentioned, they had plans to marry in June. Ultimately, they decided that an expensive Moroccan wedding was not the most responsible use of money. Instead, Nicole invested the money that she saved up while working at Starbucks … by giving it to Azan. Azan is going to invest that money in a storefront in order to open up a beauty shop in his hometown. The hope is that this will give them financial security in the future. It has been months since they reached this decision. Since then, Nicole had to return to the United States. Azan remains in Morocco. There has not yet been any word about when this beauty shop of his will open. That doesn’t mean that it’s not happening, of course. We’re not intimiately familiar with the timetable for opening a business in Morocco. Hopefully, Azan is. Some fans have concerns that Nicole is being conned. That seems unfair. If that were the case, surely Azan would have ghosted her by now. (And it’s hard to imagine that he would have been willing to go on reality television if he’s just a con artist) Also, Nicole isn’t rich — she’s a barista and a single mom. A more realistic fear, we suppose, would be that they’ll break up and she’ll have lost all of that money. We hope that all of her hard work doesn’t go to waste. For her sake and for May’s. Lena Dunham has been a divisive figure for the majority of her career, but this week, the Girls creator revealed that she shares something in common with tens of millions of Americans from all walks of life and all regions of the country. In an interview with actor Dax Shepard, Dunham revealed that she has struggled with prescription pill addiction for several years. “I was having crazy anxiety and having to show up for things that I didn’t feel equipped to show up for … but I know I need to do it, and when I take a Klonopin, I can do it,” Dunham said on the latest episode of Shepard’s podcast. “I didn’t have any trouble getting a doctor to tell me, ‘No, you’ve got serious anxiety issues, you should be taking this. This is how you should be existing,’” Dunham continued. “It stopped being, ‘I take one when I fly,’ and it started being like, ‘I take one when I’m awake.’” Dunham attributes her acute anxiety to trauma stemming from sexual assault and health issues: “I was diagnosed with pretty serious PTSD,” Lena said. “I have a few sexual traumas in my past and then I had all these surgeries and then I had my hysterectomy after a period of really extreme pain … It stopped feeling like I had panic attacks and it started feeling like I was a living panic attack.” These days, it often seems that public figures only open up about substance abuse issues when they’re forced to following some sort of PR disaster, so we commend Lena for opening up of her own volition. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Dunham will be penning a screenplay for a J.J. Abrams-Steven Spielberg film about a family of Syrian refugees. On social media, many were critical of the decision to hire Dunham for such a project, arguing that there’s no way someone in her position can relate to the plight of Syrians driven from their homeland by war. But perhaps Abrams, Spielberg, and company knew what the rest of us did not — that Dunham is a survivor of a different variety, and with sufficient compassion, she may be able to channel her painful past in a creatively productive way. Only time will tell, of course. But for now, we applaud Dunham for being candid about such a topic that affects so many, yet is so rarely addressed. Meghan Markle played a lawyer on the USA Network hit drama Suits. But criticism continues to pour in regarding the Duchess of Sussex, most notably that she simply cannot play the role of a Royal with the proper respect it deserves. Over the past several weeks, sources have come down hard on Markle for snubbing various Palace traditions , typically ones associated with fashion and decorum. And now it seems as if certain people are also taking issue with the way Markle is acting overseas. The expecting mother and Prince Harry have mostly been receiving rave reviews for their behavior on their ongoing tour — but Markle is coming under fire at the moment for how she greeted Tonga’s King Tupou VI and his wife Queen Nanasipau’u last week. Specifically, how weakly sue curtsied on front of the powerful couple. Here is a still shot of the bow in question: Did Markle get down low enough? Did she hold her form for long enough? However, a so-called etiquette expert named William Hanson told The Daily Mail that Markle has a lot to learn about how a Royal should act overall. He says she sticks her hands into her pockets on far too many occasions. “We know that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pioneering a new, relaxed, tactile branch of monarchy, but having hands in the pocket is a step too far,” this random critic says, adding: “There is good casual and there is bad casual. “Placing a hands in the pocket is too relaxed and unprofessional.” Markle, of course, is no stranger to criticism. Just ask her awful half-sister . We doubt she’ll respond to the backlash she is garnering here, especially because Hanson admits that her actions aren’t actually a big deal.
