The Queens native posted a photo of the iTunes top 10 charting Hip Hop/Rap songs in a now-deleted Instagram post. It wasn’t the chart itself that got people talking, but Nicki’s commentary on how the artists on the chart were predominantly white. The songs listed consist of majorly caucasian artists including Eminem, two songs by Post Malone, G Eazy, Macklemore, and Machine Gun Kelly. She also insisted that she didn’t say anything wrong with all of the haters coming into her comments–she doubled down saying, “It IS a great time to be a white rapper in America. I wanna sign one for my new label.” Though she shouldn’t have to clarify her statements (since they’re absolutely true), she didn’t say anything negative about the chart domination by white rappers, she simply stated what the chart itself already showed. It’s hard for people to argue anything Minaj said, when the top 10 charts show only 2 songs by black artists assisting Nicki’s caption. Before she deleted the photo, she also responded to a lot of comments under the post defending her caption and saying that she wants to sign a white rapper. Keep on fighting the good fight, sis.
Alaskan Bush People viewers were treated to an early Christmas present on Friday night. Following many months off the air, the popular Discovery Channel series aired a special holiday episode over the weekend, one that provided fans with a critical update. We’re talking, of course, about Ami Brown. The family matriarch has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy for nearly the entire year. She’s been brutally honest about her condition and her very low odds of long-term survival. On this special installment, however, Ami and her loved ones received some positive news: She is finished with treatment. (Viewers also learned that the Browns relocated from Alaska to southern California in order for Ami to be seen by physicians as UCLA; it had not been known previously exactly where she was being treated.) “There is very single reason to be hopeful and absolutely optimistic,” Dr. Deborah Wong told Ami and Billy on the episode. There’s still a long way for Ami to go, of course, but it’s important to savor every moment in situations such as this. “Life is a gift,” Ami said in response to the doctor’s encouraging words. The family celebrated the good news with a surprise for Ami, as the Brown kids decorated their California house roof-to-foundation and prepared a Christmas dinner. Wearing a Santa hat at one point, Ami was led out of the home by Billy, blindfolded and holding her husband’s hand. Once she saw the garden and how it had been filled with lights and a Christmas tree, Ami could hardly contain her emotion. “The best thing about this Christmas is that mom gets to spend it with us,” daughter Birdy said on camera, adding: “It was looking bad for a while. Having mom here for this Christmas I think is the best gift that we could ever get.” We wish Ami and all the Browns the absolute best during this holiday season. Said Billy of the occasion: “For the Brown family, the meaning of Christmas is all things good… it’s that one time of the year that you really celebrate life. “It’s a time of giving and also receiving love, and kind of a combination of the whole year, right there together.” Prior to this episode and this update, the last we had heard from the Alaskan Bush People regarding Ami’s health was when daughter Rain revealed on Instagram that the family were “hopeful” as her mom began a second round of chemotherapy. As for the future of the show? This is unimportant compared to Ami’s well-being, of course, but plenty of fans out there remain curious. There’s been talk that the Browns are moving to Colorado for Season 8 , along with chatter over Bam Bam and his girlfriend landing a spinoff. Nothing has been confirmed yet, however. All that really matters right now is that Ami continues to progress and to spend as much time as possible with her loved ones. Well, we know how that story ended, and that her new baby daddy Rob ended up accompanying her to the laser clinic to rectify that mistake. It appears that didn’t do the full job of erasing Chyna’s old life…so she decided to make sure her past was erased with reminders of her new narrative. I don’t know what happened to Emma Roberts . For a while, she was everywhere, but then the hot nobody industry shifted from telling the paps when you were going to be hitting the gym in short shorts to posting hot selfies on social media and my favorite pasty hottie got left behind. Anyway, the good news is, judging from these latest pics, it looks Emma finally got with the program. And she even went to the beach to get some sun on that pasty body of hers. I can barely believe it. Here’s hoping she wore SPF 500.
Because the only thing better than one hot model in a bikini is a whole bunch of them, here’s one of my favorite five-alarm pants fires Kara Del Toro and her co-workers showing off their perfect bikini bodies on the beach. I’m not sure who everyone else is, and I bet I’d recognize one or two of these hotties from Instagram, but I’m too lazy to look it up. And besides, nothing puts out a pants fire faster than having to do actual research. So let’s all just enjoy this perfect sight instead.
When Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married back in May, fans of Joy’s famous family were full of questions. The biggest mystery surrounded the date of the nuptials. For some reason, Joy and Austin moved their wedding from October to May, and never offered an explanation as to why. Three months later, Joy-Anna announced her pregnancy, and everything started to make sense. Fans reasoned that Joy and Austin had violated the famous Duggar courtship rules by engaging in premarital sex. The rescheduled wedding was viewed as an attempt to conceal the fact that Joy had gotten pregnant before saying “I do.” The fact that Joy-Anna has all but disappeared from public view in recent weeks hasn’t helped her family’s efforts to convince Counting On viewers that she waited to have sex until after she was married. Joy and Austin were both absent from this year’s Duggar Thanksgiving photo , but it’s possible that they simply decided to join Austin’s family for the holiday. Whatever the case, the effort to keep Joy out of the spotlight has done little to silence suspicious fans, many of whom have done some digging to unearth what they believe is solid evidence of Joy’s premarital conception: That’s a photo from Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell’s wedding that took place back in September. As many fans have pointed out, Joy would have been about four months pregnant at that point, but it looks as though she may be further along here. “That bump is NOT 4 months,” tweeted one viewer. “She’s at least 6 months pregnant!” Duggar defenders have repeatedly used the “every pregnancy is different” argument to explain what appear to be discrepancies in the timeline of Joy’s pregnancy. But the evidence that Joy isn’t being entirely truthful does seem to keep piling up. Some skeptics point to an October Instagram post in which Joy stated that she could already feel the baby kick. Doctors say first-time mothers generally don’t “until closer to 25 weeks.” Again, not exactly solid evidence that Joy got pregnant out of wedlock, but it’s not hard to see why so many are suspicious. Several medical professionals have stated that Joy-Anna is further along than she claims , but their opinions are based only on photos of the 20-year-old mom-to-be. Whatever the case, you can be sure that if Joy and Austin did engage in premarital sex, the Duggars will continue to do their damnedest to cover it up.
