Just weeks after Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright tied the knot , another Vanderpump Rules couple has announced that they’re getting ready to exchange vows. Yes, after just over a year of dating, Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark are engaged. The waitress-turned-bestselling author shared the news on Instagram Wednesday night. “OMG. I feel like Meghan Markle,” she captioned the above pic. Proving that he understands her macabre sensibilities completely, Beau proposed to Stassi at the famed Hollywood Forever Cemetery. No word yet on whether or not a camera crew was on hand for the big moment, but considering Beau had the good sense to propose during Vanderpump ‘s shooting season, it’s a safe bet that the proposal will be televised. Stassi has seen plenty of ups and downs over the course of her love life, but it seems she knew Beau was the one from the very start. “I don’t feel badly about shouting it from the rooftops because y’all, I’ve been through like 15 years of s— boyfriends, so now that I have a good one and I’m fine to brag about it,’ Schroeder recently told People magazine. “We sometimes share moisturizer,” Stassi added. “He put one in my purse today because he has eczema and I have psoriasis, so that’s something we bonded over,” As the first “nice guy” Stassi has dated, Beau instantly won over Vanderpump viewers with his gentle good humor and soft-spoken demeanor. Basically, he’s the opposite of Jax Taylor, whom Stassi dated during the show’s first two seasons. The couple has seen some ups and downs in their time together, but now, in a refreshing change of pace, it’s Stassi who does most of the f–king up. On social media, Stassi’s co-stars were quick to offer their congratulations: “I have cried twice and haven’t even seen you yet!!!!!!!” wrote Katie Maloney. “Wooo hoooooo,” Brittany Cartwright commented. “Congratulations guys!!!!!!!! So happy for you!!!” It’s a year full of big steps forward for the Vanderpump crew. By the looks of things on social media, Tristan Thompson has spent this summer trying to look like a good dad . Now, he’s using social media to defend the reputation of someone else — someone more deserving. Tristan is finally standing up for Khloe, saying that she’s never been a “side piece” and doesn’t deserve the backlash she receives. There are always, always rumors about Tristan’s activities. He took to Twitter to try to clear the air. “I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season,” Tristan writes. “And making sure that I am in the best shape possible.” “I have not been on vacations at all this summer,” he clarifies. “And,” Tristan emphasizes. “The current rumors spreading are 100% false.” We’re not even sure which specific rumors he may mean — that’s how often Tristan’s alleged activities are the subject of speculation. It was, however, Tristan’s next tweet that really caught people’s attention. “Also,” Tristan announced to his legions of fans and followers. “When I met Khloe I was SINGLE.” “The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary,” he continued. Ashley explained that he had violated a protection order that she had been granted just a day earlier. It looked like Jay would just sit in custody until his inevitable deportation to Jamaica. Things have changed for Jay We can honestly say that we did not expect to see this happen at all, let alone the way that it went down. 2. They split and, this time, there would be no reconciliation. 3. Then came the PFA Ashley says that after she went on vacation with her family, Jay broke into her home and took things. She contacted police, who recommended that she obtain a Protection From Abuse order. Ashley said that there was “a lot of abuse” in their marriage. On July 1, the order was granted. 4. Apparently, Jay couldn’t be bothered to comply Jay took to Instagram and made explicit reference to the PFA — something specifically forbidden. He was not to discuss it at all. 5. Actions have consequences Police saw that Jay had allegedly violated the PFA, so they contacted him to inform him that he would be arrested. Jay turned himself in. Because he is not a US citizen (and was in fact awaiting deportation anyway), Jay was placed in ICE custody. 6. But he still has supporters Remember that long-term girlfriend of Jay’s? Friends would line up outside her dorm room to get their hair done, which is how she made extra money. After graduating college, Nafisah went to hair school. “When I started beauty school, I was just interested in hair,” explains the North Carolina native. “I went to Dudley, and Dudley would come in to talk to us about the careers. Then I realized people work with celebrities and travel. He told us about so many different careers in hair and that’s when I realized I want to work with celebrities. I thought it was cool.” Nafisah was exposed early on to entrepreneurship watching her mother travel state to state for different trade shows. “I saw her work hard,” says Nafisah. “I liked the traveling. She made her own schedule.” Nafisah’s dream of becoming a celebrity stylist eventually came true. “I recently worked with Michelle Williams, Erica Mena, Misty Copeland” to name a few. Nafisah decide to move to New York where she began working at the renown Rita Hazan Salon. “When I worked in New York that’s when I learned everything I learned about working with celebrities,” she explained. “I helped with them in the salon. I was mesmerized when Jennifer Lopez came to get her hair done.” After launching her own beauty boutique, she ventured into the hair extensions. The international celebrity stylist says she decided to start her own hair line when she got frustrated working on low quality extensions one day. ” “A lot of my clients would come and their hair was bad. It would tangle, it would shed, it would melt on the flat iron. I wanted a good product for my clients because I knew I was doing a good service. A good service with good quality hair so that way they can have a long-lasting hairstyle. I did a lot of research. It took a long time because I ordered hair, I did a lot of testing.” After finding a product she approved of, Nafisah launched Pyara Hair. Back in January, the Bachelor Nation was overjoyed to hear that Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert were expecting Baby #2 . Now, the happy couple has welcomed baby #2 — a beautiful newborn boy. But there’s a twist, because they never made it to the hospital, and Jade ended up giving bitrth at home … in the master bedroom’s closet. “I accidentally gave birth at home last night,” Jade revealed on Instagram on Tuesday. “In our master closet.” “I’ve been still processing the shock of this all,” she admitted. Jade clarified: “as this was not all at what I had planned.” “But,” she noted. “I am so so thankful for each person who helped bring our son into the world safely.” Along with her caption, Jade included a very candid photo from the scene. “I’ll share my whole birth story soon,” Jade promised her fans and followers. “But long story short,” she wrote. “My waters broke.” “And 75 minutes later,” Jade continued. “I gave birth to our healthy baby boy.” That is an exceptionall short labor! She wrote that she delivered her son “while clutching a bench in our closet.” “It was one of the scariest moments of my life,” Jade admitted. She then went on to explain that it was so frightening “because I felt so out of control.” Of course! Childbirth can be frightening under the best of circumstances. “But Tanner, Tanner’s mom, my mom, and the medics and firefighters kept me going,” Jade gushed. She praised them for staying by her side “when I felt like the world was caving in on me and my unborn baby.” “I was going to share the happy, cute Instagrammable pics first,” Jade told her fans and followers. You know, the classic shots of the mom with her newborn resting on her chest, or of the newborn in a cradle. “But,” she explains of the chaotic closet photo. “This felt right to me.” “So incredibly grateful for the support system we had,” Jade expressed. “And for this beautiful boy,” she concluded. “I get to hold in my arms.” Countless comments poured in after Jade shared her stressful story and her good news. Chris Harrison himself commented: “Now that’s the most dramatic delivery ever.” Lauren Burnham gushed: “Dang woman, you are amazing. Congratulations on your baby boy!” Speaking of Lauren Bs, Lauren Bushnell wrote: “Oh my goodness!!!!! Glad you and baby are ok!!!” “Wow!!!! You are a superhero girl!!!!!! Congratulations!!!” raved Vanessa Grimaldi. Pregnancy is a complicated thing. Due dates and delivery times can be difficult or even impossible to accurately predict. Labor often lasts several hours. For some, that means a full day of agony. For others, as was clearly the case with Jade, labor can come and go in less time than it takes to watch a movie. Having a solid plan to get to the hospital to give birth is a great idea, but it’s important for couples to realize that they can’t plan for everything. Childbirth can and will throw you for a loop.
