KABOOM! Weeks ahead of her forecasted delivery date, Amy Duggar has dropped yet another baby bombshell on Duggar Nation. While this popular family breaks one giant piece of pregnancy news after another, Amy and husband Dillon have made it clear they’re just too anxious and excited to keep one juicy tidbit about their impending child a secret. They simply had to come out this weekend and make the reveal. They had to alert all followers to their son’s first and middle name! “Baby K has a name!!!” Amy wrote as a caption yesterday to the following image, adding: Baby Dax we cannot wait to meet you!! You already bring so much joy into our lives!! We love you so much Daxton Ryan! So there you have it: Daxton. But it sounds like the young man will go by the nickname Dax. Amy has entered her third trimester and is clearly trying to make the most out of her pregnancy. She waited all the way until the age of 32 to start her family — which is perfectly “normal” and would not be noteworthy at all if she were a member of any other family. As a native Duggar, however, she might as well be 92, you know? She’s downright ancient when compared to the ages at which other loved ones have first gotten pregnant. Amy and Dillon got married in Arkansas in of 2015 and announced they were expecting their this past April, initially sharing the news with People Magazine. This is what they told the publication at the time… “We are completely speechless, overly excited and ready for the next chapter as new parents! I’m over the moon about becoming a momma! I just can’t hardly wait. “I’m over the moon about becoming a momma! I just can’t hardly wait.” Ever since making this announcement, Amy has been sharing one baby bump photo after another online with her supporters. Here, for example, is a snapshot of the star at 19 weeks . But nothing may ever beat the image she also shared this weekend of just herself, her face — and that precious belly! Aside from becoming a mother in the very near future, King is also busy with her Springdale, Arkansas business 3130 Clothing. Earlier this month, she announced her brand was expanding to include home goods. “We are taking 2,000 square feet more and we’re gonna be adding home goods, and all kinds of new clothing, a whole wall devoted to our curvy section, all of our girls,” King shared in a July 1 Instagram video. “We’re gonna have a coffee bar, we’re gonna make this place be amazing!” She then wrote in a caption to this footage: “Completely floored by the love and support we have received!! Super Dope: Mahershala Ali Starring In Marvel’s “Blade” Reboot
Jill Duggar has two kids. That’s about the average size of an American family these days — but Jill’s is no average American family. No, Jill is a Duggar, which means she was taught from a young age that procreation is basically her sole reason for being. Right now, for example, five Duggar women are pregnant , and most of them are expected to deliver before the end of the year. Jill’s parents, of course, birthed a litter of 19 children, and several of her siblings have stated they would like to beat that family record. Some are already well on their way, including Josh and Anna Duggar who are currently expecting their sixth child . So the idea that Jill might be shutting down the baby factory after just two kids is anathema to many Duggar fans. Now, Jill and Derick haven’t officially announced that they’re through expanding their family. But the couple has dropped some intriguing hints on social media in recent weeks. The Dillards held an Instagram Live session earlier this week, and at one point the topic of kids came up (as it pretty much always does when there’s a Duggar involved). At one point Derick asked his wife , “Are you pregnant?” When Jill looked aghast, Derick clarified, “I wasn’t saying that! Somebody else [in the comments] was asking if you were pregnant.” “Jill’s not pregnant,” he told the audience. “We’re not going to be pregnant this year.” “Well, how do you know?” Jill asked, to which Derick responded, “I don’t know but, I mean. There isn’t anything you’re not telling me is there?” Dillard added: “We’re definitely not having a baby this year. That’s biologically, pretty much impossible,” A surprising number of fans took that as a revelation that Jill is struggling with infertility issues. We’re pretty sure it was just Derick’s way of making a joke, as it’s July, and are there only five months left in the year, which makes it very unlikely that Jill will be welcoming any offspring before 2020. Jill and Derick recently built a home near her parents’ house in Tontitown, Arkansas, and as you can see — it’s not terribly large. Some fans have taken this as additional evidence that the Dillards are done having kids. Of course, the size could have simply been a practical matter, as Derick is in law school , and Jill is a stay-at-home mom (pretty much the only job available to Duggar women), which means neither of them is working full-time at the moment. Their financial situation may have factored into their family planning, as well, as the Dillards may have decided they simply can’t afford more kids. But hey, we’re sure Derick will be pulling in a decent-sized lawyer income eventually, and the Dillards can always build on more rooms — if they so desire. Rampant cheating. Allegations of abuse. An allegation of spousal rape . Ashley Martson and Jay Smith’s marriage was a disaster. But though Ashley’s time on 90 Day Fiance may have brought her haters, it also brought her a lot of fans. As Happily Ever After? winds to a close, she’s bidding a bittersweet farewell to the show. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Ashley Martson took to Instagram to write a fond farewell to the experience of being a 90 Day Fiance star. “As the show is approaching the final episode,” Ashley writes. “I wanted to take time to say I appreciate all the support and love from the fans.” “I was given an opportunity that many wish for,” she acknowledges. “And I am grateful for that.” “I was given the chance to let the world take a sneak peak into my life,” Ashley affirms. “And even though it didn’t end how any one wanted or anticipated,” she says. “It’s not something I regret or would take back!” Now that she and Jay are finally, finally over, they won’t be appearing as a couple on future seasons. “I’m sure next season won’t disappoint,” Ashley predicts. “And,” she continues. “You will get the opportunity to meet new couples and follow their Journey!” “It’s time to step away from the show,” Ashley affirms. “And focus on whats important.” “I have been given so many amazing opportunities from this show,” Ashley acknowledges. “And,” she continues. “I will be forever thankful to @tlc and Sharp Productions.” “The amount of support I have received majorly outweighs the hate,” Ashley emphasizes. Trolls often speak loudest, so kindness needs to come from many people to outshine cruel words. “And,” she expresses. “I appreciate every message that you so kindly took time out of your day to write me.” “I have felt the true meaning of love and heartbreak and many other lessons while filming this show,” Ashley declares. Those are some painful lessons. She also admits: “I realized that there is a lot I need to work on with myself.” “I know through all this I have learned some valuable lessons,” Ashley states. “And,” Ashley continues, she has learned “that I am stronger then I thought I could ever be.” “I love you guys,” she gushes to her fans and followers. People have been supporting her on social media for months, through some of the worst moments of her life. That forms a powerful bond. “And,” Ashley concludes. “I am so thankful I was able to experience this with all of you!” Plenty of people have terrible marriages to absolute nightmare human beings. But Ashley brought millions of people along for the ride of her marriage to Jay. That meant that her humiliations were compounded when he repeatedly cheated on her, each time worse and less remorseful than the last. That also meant that Ashley had a massive network of supporters — many of whom were there for her even after she screwed up a time or two. “Sex sells” is one of those ad industry cliches that’s so well-worn that you could probably get laughed out of a Madison Avenue boardroom for uttering the phrase. But that doesn’t make it any less true. And no one understands the marketing power of flesh quite like the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan. For the most part, the sisters use nudity to promote nothing other than themselves. After all, nothing is more lucrative to Kim, Kylie, and company then their personal brands. And that’s what makes Kendall’s latest thirst trap such a departure. She’s not just doing it for the clout this time. She’s doing it to line her pockets as part of a sweet endorsement deal. “When my acne was at its worst, I was a high schooler who didn’t want to leave the house,” Kendall captioned the pics. “Now I’m content with my skin. If you want to try Proactiv, you won’t regret it.” She then advised you to check out the link in her bio, which of course, steers you to Proactiv’s site. Why would you have to get naked to talk about a condition that primarily afflicts your face? To show that you’re comfortable in your skin, of course! Yeah, it’s a bit of a reach, but at least they made some attempt to justify the nudity — albeit a pretty lame one. Of course, that just highlights the corniness of this entire ad campaign. The Kar-Jenner crew gets naked all the time, and it needs no lame corporate justification, as the only thing they’re selling is themselves. The only purpose served by the nudity is to keep the tens of millions of followers in place so that they can attract a metric f–kton of attention when they do post unrelated sponsored content. Using the nudity as a direct sales tool is too obvious a grift. We can’t imagine momager Kris would approve. Then again, based on the level of celebrity pitch-people they’ve attracted in the past, we’re guessing Proactiv offers up some insane paydays. Kendall has talked about her acne in the past, so she does have sufficient cred to talk about this stuff knowledgeably. But we can’t help think the Proactiv people are asking too much of her. On one occasion, Kendall teased “a big announcement” and kept fans in suspense for 24 hours. The announcement? You guessed it — a new line of Proactiv products. Endorsement deals are great and all, but not if your corporate overlords are forcing you to alienate your social media following. Besides, Kendall doesn’t have the greatest history with ads . Maybe she should just stick to modeling or come out with a fashion line or something. After all, you don’t become the world’s youngest self-made billionaire by selling out to make other people rich.
