Brandon Marshall Has Knelt In Protest Of Police Misconduct At Football Games NFLer Brandon Marshall is speaking out after a racist troll sent him a letter that threatened his life and warned him to “go back to the jungle.” An unknown racist sent a letter Friday to the New York Jets wide receiver, calling him the n-word several times and criticizing him over his decision to join fellow player Colin Kaepernick in a protest against police brutality by kneeling during the National Anthem at games. “If you are sooo (sic) unhappy with America, turn in your “millions” and move back to the jungle,” the letter, which was exclusively obtained by BOSSIP, read. “We hate you and your “kind” of n****rs!” But the player refused to be cowed by the shocking show of racism but said it illustrated why he and others are demonstrating against it. “The hatred by some against people of color is one of the reasons why where we’re at in the world today, and they wonder why we feel the way we do and take the stances we take,” Marshall wrote on Instagram Friday. “I received this letter at work.” Marshall has been on the receiving end of a volley of trash talk ever since he sided with Kaepernick in his campaign against police violence, but none of the take downs have been as vitriolic as this letter. The ominous letter ends with “Your time is coming, watch out n****r!”

Keke Palmer is known for being open and honest about literally everything. She really is just a gift that way. She never holds back, she’s always a delight, and honestly, we’re just so glad that the world worked out in a way that we get to experience her wondrousness firsthand. For her latest act of greatness, Keke took it upon herself to defend none other than Kylie Jenner. See, our girl got a little upset after seeing this meme of Kylie that had been making the rounds: The meme shows Kylie back in 2012, when she was just 15 years old, before all the changes she’s made to her looks. Back then, according to the photo, people used to say “Kylie’s so ugly! Why can’t she just grow up?” It shows that photo beside a current photo of Kylie, one that showcases all her (alleged!) surgical enhancements . But the new Kylie apparently has people saying “Ew, Kylie’s so fake! What happened to her?” Yes, it seems like poor Kylie, in the eyes of many, has always been in a sort of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation when it comes to her appearance . So many of us on who we should be and how we should act, who we should like and how we should pursue them. It’s all been brought to another level because being fraudulent is our countries most popular trend. If only we could accept one another instead of bullying each other into change. We wouldn’t be so confused or misunderstanding all of these mixed messages that ultimately tell us to trade attention for respect and love for possession. Because, see, there’s this woman named Kelley Markland. Kelley is a mother, she sells Scentsy products, and she also enjoys a good pair of leggings. She’s fierce as hell, right? She’s rocking those leggings, and she looks amazing. But unfortunately, one sad, sorry soul doesn’t take too kindly to people like Kelley wearing leggings. And that person felt so strongly about it, that she actually sent Kelley a letter. A physical letter. Like, with an envelope and a stamp and everything. Here’s the thoughtful letter this woman received: And if that didn’t get the message across, don’t worry! This anonymous loser also decided to add an Anchorman meme to really clarify things: OK, so let’s break this down. Somebody, a human being alive in this world, saw Kelley in her leggings and hated it so much that they went through the trouble of grabbing some paper and a pen and writing down her grievances. She then looked up a meme, printed it out, put the meme in an envelope with the letter, addressed the letter, slapped a stamp on, then put it in a mailbox. This person did all that, and there was not one single time that she thought “huh, maybe this is the most ridiculous thing that ever happened.” These are dark and troubling times we’re living in right now. Kelley shared that hateful letter on Facebook, and the message she wrote along with it is just so heartbreaking. “Anyone who knows me,” she wrote, “knows that I care deeper and stronger than many. I am a sensitive woman and I despise cruelty towards others.” “I have never pretended to be pretty or look good in clothing. I have never tried to be flashy or show off. Wearing my ‘fun’ leggings gave me a tad bit of confidence in not looking sloppy all the time.” “I’m sorry that some of you may not like it, but I’m not dressing for you. All the hate in this world, and you have to pick on me for this?!” “Thank you for making me feel like absolute, complete sh-t … so unbelievably disappointed in people anymore.” Aww, Kelley, girl, no! You are pretty, and you do look good in clothing! Be flashy, show off! Get it! And it seems like a lot of other people wanted to encourage Kelley too — she works as a substitute teacher, and after she shared that Facebook post, many of her coworkers used the magic of leggings to show their support. “All the teachers were coming up and hugging me and showing me their leggings,” Kelley said in an interview . “So I knew at that point, it’s not about me anymore, it’s about all women.” She explained that “The letter killed me inside and I still get upset by it, but at the same time I have gained immense strength.” This is such a sad story — seriously, think about how pitiful the person who sent the letter must be — but it’s so good to hear that this woman was able to turn the situation around.
