Kim Kardashian Talks About Kanye Giving Her Upgraded Ring In Interview This is pretty sad considering recent events… An interview Kim Kardashian did with Andy Cohen on September 27 at Pier 60 for the Girls’ Lounge dinner that was part of Advertising Week 2016 is making it’s rounds, largely because she tells the romantic story of how husband Kanye West gave her the $4.5 million 20 carat Lorraine Schwartz ring after closing a deal (rumored to be worth billions) with Adidas to open Yeezy retail stores. Via US Weekly : “My husband was very nice … he did surprise me … it’s a really cute story,” Kardashian told Cohen, 48, when asked about her new diamond. “So I was sleeping and he woke me up in the middle of the night and said, ‘Babe, babe! I got you something from Adidas.’ And I said, ‘OK, I’ll get the shoes in the morning, babe, I’m sleeping.’ … And then he put the Lorraine Schwartz box on my pillow … and I woke up! … He said, ‘You know I just did that big Adidas deal, so I got you something from Adidas.’” Kardashian added that West, 39, also had the ring engraved with “Adidas” on the inside. Isn’t that sweet? LOL You know she woke up when that box hit the pillow! Meanwhile, more details are emerging about who robbed Kim of her jewels. According to Daily Mail reports, five white middle-aged male cyclists were behind the robbery and after collecting information from both Kim and the apartment concierge police believe the men were French and likely career criminals. Despite leaving France Monday just hours after the incident, Kim has been briefing the police by phone. While no images have been released, police are saying there may be images of the group arriving and leaving the luxury apartment building. A source close to the investigation said, “There have been no arrests, but we are slowly piecing together profiles of those involved in this crime. What we have been told so far is that they were in their forties or fifties, and were of European appearance. They came went on bicycles, and only spent a few minutes inside the flat, suggesting they knew exactly what they were doing. We have studied huge amounts of CCTV film in the area, and there is a chance that images of the men may have been caught on camera. Ms Kardashian claims a gun was placed against her head and she was tied up and gagged and pushed into a marble bath before the men took the jewels, which were ‘easily on display on a bedside table,’ said the source. As the men ran away, she managed to ‘wriggle out’ of her hand ties, and get onto a balcony, where she started shouting. The concierge – who suffered roughly the same fate at Ms Kardashian – has also told police one of the robbers at one point said: ‘Where is the wife of the rapper?’ The building has nine apartments inside, each protected by armored doors that lock from inside. It’s also now been revealed that Kim’s French bodyguard Pascal Duvier declared bankruptcy earlier this year. Kim’s ring is actually engraved with a tracking number but diamond experts believe it’s likely that will be removed if the thieves have it taken to a cutter who will recut the diamond and likely remove the ID number in the process. Insiders say the Jolie-Pitt kids have hardly strayed from the property, and Angelina’s brother, James Haven, and eldest son, Maddox, have assisted her in keeping the younger kids distracted and entertained. It’s good that she has some help, as we imagine keeping her brood sheltered from the storm of media scrutiny while simultaneously diverting their attention from the flood of theories and rumors about their parents’ separation is no mean feat. As for Brad, well, not surprisingly, the actor is said to be devastated by the events of the past month. Pitt and Jolie have reached a temporary settlement which gives her sole physical custody of the couple’s kids. Insiders say Pitt did little to fight her on the matter, both out of hopes of expediting the divorce process for the sake of his kids, and because he ultimately had little recourse: “Brad was in an impossible situation,” famed divorce attorney Raoul Felder tells Radar Online. “The charges that have been made against him may or may not be based in fact. We still don’t know – and Angelina’s played him like a violin.” While there are varying stories about exactly what happened aboard that private jet on September 15, accounts concur that an altercation between Brad and Maddox prompted to Angelina to move out on her husband and take the kids with her. Just days later, she filed for divorce. Brad was investigated by the Department of Child and Family Services and the FBI, but both agencies ultimately decided that there were no grounds to press criminal charges. Despite the ugly nature of the split, however, Jolie has not gone so far as to request a restraining order, and People magazine is reporting that she recently allowed for Pitt for visit with his kids for an unspecified period of time. “Brad has spent some wonderful time with children recently,” a source tells the magazine. “He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always.” There’s no word yet on where the visit took place or whether it was supervised. Yesterday over on Instagram, Jenelle shared a photo of her little son, Kaiser, boyfriend David, and herself with a sweet little puppy they just added to their family. The puppy is absolutely precious, but you’ve got to see Jenelle’s caption for the pic. “Thanks so much to @johnny_platinumgotti for our newest little family member! One, there are so many dogs, and especially so many pit bulls, available for adoption in shelters across the country. Jenelle could have easily gone down to her local shelter and found a dog there. Sure, those dogs might not be from an “exotic gotti line” of pit bulls, but still, somehow we imagine Jenelle would deal with it. And two, Jenelle really has no business getting a dog in the first place. A puppy is a lot of work, especially for a pregnant lady. Throw in the fact that her boyfriend, David Eason, could be headed to prison soon , and it seems like a lot to add to her plate right now. Oh, and then there’s that thing where she’s been known to be abusive and cruel to her dogs in the past. In an episode of Teen Mom 2 that aired a couple of years ago, Jenelle was filmed screaming at her dogs , yanking them around and forcing them to spend long amounts of time in crates that were too small for them. It was extremely hard to watch, and that backlash was intense, and so very well-deserved. She apologized for the incident, but a year later she was back in the same boat after she was caught instructing her dog to fetch a lit firework . No, really, she did that. Thankfully, the dog was rescued from Jenelle, and she hasn’t had been seen mistreating another animal since. Or, sorry, “yet.” She hasn’t been seen mistreating another animal yet .
