One of Hollywood’s hottest couples is officially one of Hollywood’s most sleep-deprived couples. But for the cutest and most previous of reasons: They have a newborn at home! Us Weekly has confirmed that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are parents for a third time, having welcomed a baby about two months ago. It’s unclear how this adorable secret finally leaked now… or what the child is named… or even whether it’s a boy or a girl. But it’s still pretty darn awesome news for anyone that has followed the lives and relationship of the actor and the actress. The (GORGEOUS!) Gossip Girl alum revealed in May that she and her 42-year old husband were expecting when she attended a movie premiere with a very evident baby bump showing . The then-pregnant star rocked a bright yellow Retrofête dress on the red carpet, a tight ensemble that made it clear she wanted the world to finally know about her status. Still, true to the private nature of these celebrities, neither star issued an actual statement on the pregnancy. And neither has done so now in light of the pregnancy turning into an actual person. Every now and then, however, Reynolds can’t help but gush about his wife, his kids or his family in general. “When they decide to go away to college, I’m going to be that guy, ‘That’s so funny, I’m going to NYU, too!’” the Golden Globe nominee told Extra in April of his children, joking: “I’m going to be so needy. I love being around them — it’s the best thing in the world.” Also, three years prior to their latest bundle’s arrival, Lively hinted to People Magazine that the two wanted a big family, saying in jest: “I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders. You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.” This is classic Blake and/or Ryan. They say very little about their private lives… but when they do speak out, they absolutely crack us up. Just don’t expect to ever see any photos of their kids on magazine covers or even on social media, not if the stars can help it. Lively previously disclosed to Marie Claire just how protective she is of her family’s privacy, admitting it is “the thing that I feel most protective of and the thing that I feel is the most exposed when I feel exploited.” She added in this interview that her daughter “didn’t have the opportunity to make a decision about what she wants” and it’s therefore very unfair to stick her into the spotlight in any way. Lively and Reynolds got married in 2012, about a year after the latter finalized his divorce from Scarlett Johansson. CONGRATS TO THE NOW-THREE-TIME PARENTS!
Let’s face it— A$AP Rocky gets away with wearing a lot of weird stuff in the name of high fashion. Pretty Flacko is trying to start a new wave but we are super good. Page Six is reporting that the Harlem native feels very strongly about the male population sporting color on their hands. In a recent interview with Vogue he discussed a myriad of topics including his AGWE brand, eating habits, masculinity and more. While talking about his influence on fashion he made it clear he hopes to inspire men to paint their nails. Yes, paint their nails—not that there’s anything wrong with that. “I feel like men should be able to do nail art without feeling feminine” the Babushka Boi said as he shows the writer his nails which have been painted with Prada branding. “Yeah! This lady who is really, really good drew Prada on my nails when I was shooting my Prada collaboration, and she did my nails for the photos.” For the last couple of years the “Peso” rapper has been sporting illustrations on his nails. Naturally, the art on his hands typically slants towards his love of fashion but he recently used his nails to protest his infamous arrest in Sweden. Shortly after his release from the jail he posted a photo with “Love” and the American flag painted on his nails. View this post on Instagram I AM OF COURSE DISAPPOINTED BY TODAY’S VERDICT. Source: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN.com / WENN Stop that right thuuur. Rapper Chingy has been laying low for a while, but after hearing his name mentioned in a rumor, the “One Call Away” artist spoke out to clear things up. During an interview on the Ellen Show , comedian Tiffany Haddish was participating in the “Burning Questions” segment with host Ellen Degeneres , that put Haddish in the hot seat. During the segment, Haddish was asked questions about what she looks for in a man and what she likes to do naked, but things took an interesting twist when the comedian expounded on her dating history, specifically celebrities, disclosing that Chingy was a former flame. “Chingy…I mean, it was a hookup,” Haddish said with a smile. “That was the early 2000s, y’all. I don’t even know if that counts anymore.” After clips of the mention spread online, Chingy took to his Instagram , in a since-deleted post, to clear up the rumor, jokingly calling Tiffany Haddish a liar before clarifying it was his brother she dated, not him. “Now @tiffanyhaddish knows damn well that’s a lie an since she lied I’m a tell the truth she use to hook up with my brother not me but she liked me,” he wrote. “Hey if we gone be honest let’s be honest #chingy #facts #juslikethat.” In other Chingy news, the St. Louis rapper recently appeared on BET’s streaming series #FindingBET and discussed his departure from Ludacris ‘s DTP record label and revealed the reason behind his long hiatus. In the interview, Chingy states that at the time he was advised by a newly acquired lawyer that his former label was stealing funds from him. “I hired a lawyer, he was a family lawyer or injury attorney I’m not sure, I was a kid,” Chingy recalled. “I brought him in and the first thing he said was ‘DTP is stealing from you’. So I was trying to talk [to Ludacris and Chaka] but we never could really talk because every time we tried it was just a bunch of people in their feelings so I didn’t want to talk no more. But I still can’t say to this day whether they stole from me or not, because I was a kid and I didn’t know the business.” Chingy goes on to say that although the allegation was there, it was never proven and he regrets the decision because he according to him, led to his blackballing in the industry. The “Right Thurr” rapper also divulged that his beef with Nelly wasn’t intentional and that he feels it was fueled by politics. “I had just put out my second album, Jackpot , which was a great album, but after the issue with DTP, my label put very little promotion into it, so now I am sitting here with a good album that no one knows about. So fast forward and I’m at this show and I see Nelly and he came up to me and gave me a hug; well DTP was there and I guess he saw someone from that camp looking at us because before we could take a photo-he just walks off. So it was at that moment I knew it was about to be some stuff with my career.” In addition to clearing up old business, Chingy is all about the new after dropping his first single in three years, “Just Like That.” View this post on Instagram CHINGY IS NOT NORMAL CHINGY IS A CAMILLIAN CHINGY IS YOUNIVERSAL CHINGY IS ? Source: Home Picture Isis King / Isis King For this year’s Emmys, “When They See Us” actress Isis King found herself in a bit of a predicament. While she knew she would be attending the after-parties , she hadn’t planned on attending the actual event, until she got a call days before the awards show. “Sarah Kate Ellis, President and CEO of GLAAD asked me to attend the Emmys with her. I was excited, but I didn’t have anything to wear for it!” King told HelloBeautiful. So what was she do? First, she was out of town in Iowa for the 2019 LGBTQ Presidential Forum , her stylist was out of commission and her schedule was packed, so spending time shopping for a new dress and getting it fitted just wasn’t going to work. Looking at pictures of her gorgeous gown, she did something to look so good. What was her secret? Well, last week on social media, the transgender actress shared she did what she does best: Made it work. “People have asked about my #Emmys dress. My stylist couldn’t pull threw in time so I altered the gown on the left that I already had. Cut the top off, added straps, added pleats to create a stiff ruffle-esque foundation at knee, and added tulle. Most was hand work btw!” she captioned on Instagram. Adding, “Haven’t had time to be in a designing mood lately, but sometimes you have to pull out your skills. I would never usually alter something already made because I’m pretty cocky about my designing craft, but sometimes you have to work magic! You can take the girl from designing, but you can’t take designing from the girl. Can’t believe I’ve been a Fashion Designer for 20 years WOWWWW.” View this post on Instagram Ppl have asked about my #Emmys dress. A post shared by Isis King (@msisisking) on Sep 25, 2019 at 7:43pm PDT Just amazing! We sat down with Isis, the first trans model to compete on America’s Next Top Model , to talk about how she pulled this dress together last minute, her acting debut on Ava DuVernay’s limited series When They See Us and shining at the Emmys with her trans sisters. HelloBeautiful: Girl, your dress was stunning. How did you pull this off? Isis King: It was all last minute! I wanted to have something with sequins and pulled some fabric to make a new dress, but realized I didn’t have the time to make something from scratch. So I looked in my closet, pulled this dress out and I was like OK I can work with this. HB: Walk us through the process. IK: [Long story short], I knew the chiffon straps had to come off, so I added a strap to give me some support. Then I looked at the bottom of the dress and started folding and pleating it to picture what it would look like. And it looked really cool, couture-like, but I had to add some comfortable fabric underneath because with all the parties afterward, it didn’t want to be itchy all night. [Laughs] So I added some tulle, sewing each layer, which I did by hand. And there we go! HB: Wow! How long did it take? IK: Well, with the strap breaking the needles a few times and me working with fabrics I hadn’t worked with before, it took me maybe four hours altogether. HB: The response to your post was huge. Did you expect that? IK: I was really shocked because I have way before Top Model, I was a designer and over the years I have posted plenty of my designs and it didn’t get the same attention. But when I posted this dress, people were loving it! And I am like, this is great, but also, I can do way more than just altering! HB: Honestly, when I saw a picture of you and Niecy Nash [who played your mother in When They See Us ], I knew she was wearing Christian Siriano. So looking at you side-by-side, I thought you were wearing him as well! IK: It’s funny because when Niecy saw me she said, “Like mother, like daughter!” View this post on Instagram I would like to thank God, my mother, and……oh wait, it isn't mines?…… SO PROUD TO LIVE IN THIS MOMENT WITH MY LITTLE BRO @jharreljerome BROOOOOOOO!!!!…SO WELL DESERVED! Best Lead Actor in a Limited Series!!!!!!!!! @whentheyseeus #whentheyseeus A post shared by Isis King (@msisisking) on Sep 22, 2019 at 11:20pm PDT HB: What an amazing night for “When They See Us,” especially Jharrel Jerome who played your brother. My heart almost stopped when Angela Bassett opened the envelope and then I saw the look of relief on her face, I just knew he had won. What was the atmosphere in the auditorium like when his name was called ? IK: It was electric! I stood up for both Jharrel and Billy Porter [who won Lead Actor In A Drama Series for Pose ]. The night before, I saw both of them at a party and told them to get their speeches ready. They both laughed, but here we are! It was so amazing to be there and see their wins in person. Also, to be on set with Jharrel, watching him and acting with him, especially our scenes together of him playing a teen and adult Korey Wise and me as Marci Wise , his trans sister, it was amazing to witness. He’s such a brilliant actor. HB: Well, you’re pretty good too Isis. You held your own in those scenes with Niecy and Jharrel. IK: Why thank you! I’ve been acting for 10 years before this and this was my big first role! I have been craving a role that was more than just being the pretty trans woman. I wanted to be a real character and have an opportunity to show what I’m capable of. I was clear [when I read the script] that I am ready for this. Once I got cast and got on set, I just wanted to make Ava proud. HB: There were scenes when you played Norman, Marci before her transition. Being a trans woman was that at all triggering? IK: You know what? No. When I was in the make-up, I was OK. I even asked Ava if I could have sideburns because I have never had that before. They even added hair to my lip and I bound my chest, (which gave me so much respect for those who do bind.) I was able to walk the streets of Harlem as Norman and no one knew who I was! I was in disguise, really acting. And for the first time, I was doing something different as an actress. I t wasn’t triggering, more like exhilarating. HB: I also saw pics of you with Pose actresses Mj Rodriquez and Indya Moore . What did it mean for you to be able to share that Emmys space with them like that? IK: Amazing. It was a great night to be with them and Dominique Jackson (Elektra from Pose ), we go way back to the ballroom scene. And Janet [Mock] , we’ve been girlfriends since 2011, and Angelica Ross , who’ve I known since 2009. So to be there, hug one another and celebrate us was very special. There was something very powerful to be trans women in our really cool garb and our sunkissed skin and to know that we BELONGED there. And I look forward to more of these moments when we can hold those statues, and have more stories [with trans leads] outside of Pose. That time is coming. Last month, I walked the Savage x Fenty at New York Fashion Week, which was a dream come true. Rihanna told me my walk was fine and I literally froze up. [Laughs]. I am also going to be doing some more ads for Gabrielle Union’s “I’m Perfect” New York & Company Collection too. That, and auditioning for roles, taking those meetings and working on some influencer projects. Sometimes it feels like I’m playing catch up. it’s been 11 years since Top Model and I see that now they do want to hear my voice. So the takeover continues. It’s slow, but I am planting my seeds and being positive about my journey. It’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon. This interview had been edited for length and clarity. Source: Courtesy of OWN / Courtesy of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network Greenleaf Actresses Talk About Their Character Development And Work Relationships Have you been watching Season 4 of “Greenleaf” on OWN ? We’ve been loving it so far. The acting is impeccable, especially from the legendary Lynn Whitfield who plays Lady Mae, the Church’s First Lady. We love ALL the ladies of “Greenleaf” though and that’s why our Sr. Content Director Janeé Bolden was so excited to sit with Deborah Joy Winans (Charity Greenleaf), Desiree Ross (Sophia Greenleaf), Merle Dandridge (Grace Greenleaf) and Lynn Whitfield (Lady Mae Greenleaf) at the start of the season. Check out the interview below: Janeé Bolden:So much has changed from Season 1 to Season 4, what are you most proud of in terms of your character’s development and what surprised you most, because so many allegiances have shifted? Lynn Whitfield: I think from where it started in the very beginning with Lady Mae being this really grand sidekick who kinda ran the show, but from behind, to now her really stepping into the role of not just running things as a wife but really feeling that she can save souls, really feeling that she has a calling on her life to actually preach. From where it started, because I don’t think it was ever even expected by the writers or anything, it just kind of evolved. It was just very surprising how the evolution of Lady Mae happened, and then I think also just the evolution where I never ever thought that we would lose the church, even temporarily. That never entered Lady Mae’s mind that there was a possibility of losing it. It was just always keeping all the superficial things straight and keeping it, so it really went to the wall with this one. Deborah Joy Winans: I think I just love watching Charity grow. I loved watching her walk through these trials. I loved her handling it not so great, because that’s real. I loved seeing her humanity. And this season I loved that she stands up for herself regardless of what anyone else things. Desiree Ross: Sophia has changed a lot of ways. If you watched the previous three seasons you know she’s had quite an arc. She started out atheist and then she was Christian, then she lost her ovaries, and then this season it’s kind of nice to see how she’s coping and kind of trying to deal with making sense of this world and why is this happening. I think she’s acting out of anger just a little bit, out of resentment and it’s been an interesting ride to say the least. But it’s definitely been fun watching her shift. She’s definitely growing and realizing the world is not as perfect as she made it out to be when she first found Christianity. Merle Dandridge: For Grace, I find her really searching for identity and purpose this season, because previously it had been about outside circumstances and how she’s going to put out this fire, or how she’s going to manage that or how she’s going to attack a situation, you know, whether it’s her business or not, she’s going to put her foot in it right? And now that she’s in the pulpit and she has slayed many of her demons, suddenly it becomes time for her to look within. When you are on the platform, you have to come with your heart bare and your conscience clean and her conscience is not clean, and some of her secrets and her skeletons come out and she has to contend with that. And in so doing, she clears out the extra cobwebs so that she can see clearly, ‘What has God purposed me for?’ And how is Grace going to, after she has mended these relationships with her family, how is she going to function normally, because they’ve never had that ‘Oh yeah, let’s come over for dinner.’ They never had that. Suddenly when we start to find a connection, a common purpose and we’re slaying a common enemy, how does that change their dynamic and who is she then? It’s very interesting to me, her growth, I think she’s become a little less hotheaded and a little more responsible for her own actions. Source: Janeé Bolden / Janeé Bolden Janeé Bolden: Desiree, as one of the younger cast members, what have you learned from your co-stars? Desiree Ross: I could say so many things that I’ve learned. I’ve learned to have fun. I guess on set when I started off I was kind of a perfectionist and I learned that it’s okay to make mistakes and to move past them and to try to do better next time. I learned to have fun from Lynn. Lynn Whitfield: Awww that’s so sweet. Desiree Ross: Merle, I don’t know how to describe. I work with Merle so much, she’s taught me so many different things. I think I learn a lot by watching her. The way she does everything, just the way she moves her eyes, it’s like perfect timing. She makes me feel really calm on set. So if something were ever to go wrong I feel good. And DJ, that’s my Auntie.(everyone laughs)That’s my Auntie. DJ really calms me. Desiree Ross: I think all of them kinda taught me. I feel like when you start off acting you come in a little stiff, and I think all three of you have taught me about messing with the character, don’t get too stuck, be able to move, be flexible with everything, and just to brighten up, have fun, you’ve taught me to look at multiple perspectives, not just looking from my own. Just from watching all the little nuances that you’ve added to your characters. I don’t know. There’s just so much. The last four years, there’s no limit to what I’ve learned. Deborah Joy Winans: We learned from you. Merle Dandridge: We love you as well. You’re just as open to us. Lynn Whitfield: That’s so sweet. Desiree Ross: And you know what else I’ve learned from them? That when you have good people around you, that’s really what you need. It’s very essential to keep really good people around you. To have a strong foundation. People that are uplifting you, people that are pushing you towards God, people that are pushing you to be better motivated and to just have more fun and enjoy your life. I feel like all of these women do that for me. Deborah Joy Winans: What a sweet little baby. Lynn Whitfield: A safe space. Desiree Ross: Yeah. They feel like my safe space. I love going to work. I love staying there even when I don’t have to be there. Love it! A new episode of “Greenleaf” airs tonight, Tuesday, October 1 at 10/9 c on OWN
Source: Paul Bruinooge / Getty Robert De Niro didn’t bite his tongue during a live interview on CNN Sunday (Sept 29.). The Goodfellas actor drew inspiration from his character Jimmy Conway by dropping the f-bomb twice when clapping back at his critics. During his interview on the CNN show Reliable Sources with Brian Shelter, De Niro was asked how he felt about critics who don’t like his bashing of Trump . Not mincing words at all, the iconic actor let the world know how he really feels by replying “F–k ‘em. F–k ‘em,” with no hesitation. A voice off-camera could be heard yelling “woahhhh,” De Niro quickly apologized, saying “Sorry, Sorry.” Stelter pointed out that they won’t be in any trouble because “This is cable, so it’s not an FCC violation, but it still is a Sunday morning.” De Niro also expressed that he felt the president is not capable of resigning even if he is wrong and described the orange menace as “crazy” and a “gangster.” When asked by Stelter if he meant in the medical sense, De Niro responded: “Possibly medically too. I didn’t think that before, but now I actually – when I saw him out in front of the helicopter waiting to go somewhere, talking endlessly and sweating and sweating … this guy, he’s not even aware of what he’s – he should at least ask somebody for a handkerchief or something and dry himself off.” “There’s just something very strange.” When Stelter asked the Casino star if he felt Trump was acting, he responded: “In some ways, I think he is. As I think some of these pundits on Fox are too,” he volunteered. “Because I can’t believe they would actually buy into this craziness. This guy should not be president, period.” You can watch the amazing memeable moment below.
