Lindsay Lohan’s highly-anticipated interview with Barbara Walters on ABC’s 20/20 is off after the troubled star pulled the plug, according to reports. The modern-day Elizabeth Taylor portrayer was expected to appear on Friday, November 16 to promote her upcoming Lifetime biopic Liz & Dick . Walters had visited the set and interviewed the 26-year-old on location. However, according to Deadline, Lohan’s PR team is “dissatisfied with the direction ABC wanted to take the interview” and reneged on her participation. The oft-maligned actress faces criminal charges for lying to police about her car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway. She falsely claimed her assistant was driving. This could trigger a probation violation – due to her conviction for that jewelry store heist – if a judge determines there is reason to believe she committed a crime. While it wasn’t explicitly stated by her camp, this and her recent nuclear fight with Dina Lohan were likely a big part of her decision to flake on Babwah. Liz & Dick makes its premiere Sunday, November 25 on Lifetime.
Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson taped an interview with Ellen DeGeneres today. And while the actors were not besieged by male strippers – as happened to Miley Cyrus during the same talk show visit – the topic of exposed crotches did come up. See, Robert never remembers to zip his fly. Seriously. Ellen provides proof of this odd, sexy slip in the following hilarious clip: Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson on Ellen Elsewhere, as if Pattinson could possibly get any more adorable, the trio talks about his adopted dog Bear. Savannah Guthrie had to try again. A day after The Today Show co-anchor asked Kristen Stewart about her status with Robert Pattinson – gotta keep ’em guessing , Stewart awkwardly replied – Guthrie posed the same question to this Twilight Saga stud. Rob laughed off the inquiry, firing back at the reporter and asking why she brought it up. “Is it in your contract?” he joked. Watch the interview in its entirety now and take note: turn the volume on your computer up: Robert Pattinson on The Today Show: About K. Stew…
Halle just keeps showing us how much ‘older’ women still got it! According to The Daily Mail : The mother-of-one, who has designs on moving to Europe (in her case France), looks incredible with a huge afro in a eccentric ensemble for the magazine. With an obvious ’70s feel to it, the shot is screamingly flamboyant compared to the actress’s normal style, but she looks brilliant. The Diana Ross-esque look is for the November issue of Interview magazine. The publication has released two versions of the cover, which sees the mother of four-year-old Nahla also sporting the big hair. One cover features the Cloud Atlas star – who is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez – in colour, while the other is a black & white photo. Berry has been making the rounds at various events, talk shows and premieres, in an effort to promote her new film with Tom Hanks. The Hollywood star shares her daughter with French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. The former couple announced their separation in April 2010 and Gabriel filed documents with the Los Angeles Superior Court later that year asking for formal recognition of his paternity and for the court to grant him legal and physical custody of their child. During an interview on German chat show Wetten dass…? on Saturday, Halle revealed she’s happy that she waited to have Nahla: ‘I’m a much better mother at 46… than if I were like, 21 or 25. ‘[At that age] I was just a little baby just trying to figure out who I was, let alone having the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow. I’m so glad I waited.’ Hit the flip for more…
Star Wars fans worldwide learned Tuesday the celestial shattering news that George Lucas had sold Lucasfilm , and its most famous offspring to Disney for $4.05 billion. That news even surprised none other than Luke Skywalker himself. Actor Mark Hamill said he was surprised by the news, though he and fellow Star Wars veteran Carrie Fisher had met with Lucas who told them he wanted to do additional episodes in the decades-long franchise. “Yeah, last August, he asked Carrie and I to have lunch with him and we did. I thought he was going to talk about either his retirement or the Star Wars TV series that I’ve heard about…,” Hamill told EW . “So when he said, ‘We decided we’re going to do Episodes VII, VIII , and IX ,’ I was just gobsmacked. ‘What? Are you nuts?!’ [laughs] I can see both sides of it. Because in a way, there was a beginning, a middle, and an end and we all lived happily ever after and that’s the way it should be – and it’s great that people have fond memories, if they do have fond memories.” Hamill said in the interview that he feels “anxious” about what’s going on and admitted to mixed feelings about the sale, but said there has been a historical silver lining when Disney has picked up other marquee properties. “They haven’t done badly by Marvel and the Muppets and Pixar. It’s one of those big decisions that at first seems unusual but then the more you look at it, the more it makes sense.” Hamill noted that Lucas himself is in a “good place” today, which wasn’t exactly the case back when they were filming the earlier Star Wars . He recalled that his co-stars tried to lift his spirits on the set, which would come with mixed results. “He was not a jolly guy on set. [laughs] I always felt badly for him because he agonizes over details, and I’m sure after imagining it in his head for so many years, to see it realized — he’d look up and just hang his head and groan. Harrison [Ford], Carrie [Fisher], and I were always trying to cheer him up and joke him out of his doom and gloom.” [ Source: EW ]

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are officially over and you simply won’t believe the reason why: Because one half of this Bachelorette -based couple was in the relationship for publicity reasons only. We know! This is the first time that’s ever happened in series history! Previous reports alleged that Maynard was miserable in the relationship, turned off by Holm’s reluctance to serve as a father figure to her daughter Ricki. But sources now tell Us Weekly that Holm was simply too ” fame hungry ,” wanting to “go on Dancing with the Stars ” and to attend restaurant openings over spending time with his fiancee and her child. Considering this is the second engagement ring she has given back, the insider adds that Emily is “sad and embarrassed” by how everything fell apart with Jef. But she may get a chance to make it right with someone else! ABC producers reportedly want her back as The Bachelorette . Yes, AGAIN.
