It’s not easy being a bus driver. Sometimes you’ve gotta deal with one teenager beating the living crap out of another . Other times, you’ve really gotta give yourself a pedicure. At least one bus driver in Singapore had to, that is, as footage of the unnamed man clipping his own nails behind the wheel went viral late last month. After looking into the incident, the bus company fired this employee on August 15, mostly for endangering his passengers… but partly for being an idiot, we’d have to imagine. Alex Band, the lead singer of the rock band The Calling, was abducted in Michigan this weekend, thrown into a van, beaten up and left on the train tracks. The reasons why are entirely unclear. Band (middle) was in Lapeer, Mich., for a music festival, when he decided to walk from his hotel to a nearby convenience store around 4 a.m. Sunday. While he was walking, a van pulled up alongside Alex, people inside jumped out and grabbed him right off the street, pummeling him in the van. After the beating had concluded, Band was left on nearby train tracks. Another member of The Calling noted that he was missing later that morning and assembled a search party, and he was found a short time after that. Alex Band’s condition is unclear, but he survived. Law enforcement officials did not elaborate on the details of the attack but are investigating the situation. The one-hit wonder group scored big in 2001 with the single “Wherever You Will Go,” then broke up, then recently got back together and began touring.

Demi Lovato has no problem baring her makeup free face for the world to see. But The X Factor judge may have a major problem with photos that have been leaked online and which supposedly depict this young superstar baring it all . According to Radar Online, over 20 photos of this 20-year old in the buff were emailed to the website last week. None depict Demi’s face, but the young woman (who is naked in a bathtub and topless on a bed, among other racy shots) allegedly has dark hair and possesses the same tattoos as Lovato, most notably ink of 12 black birds on her forearm. At least for now, the site has chosen not to run the images. But ” these are Demi ,” claims the individual who sent them, adding: “The collection I have show some nude, including face, some including parts of the body Demi is known for – tattoos, butt, chin. Then, I have pictures of her getting rowdy… I can guarantee you these photos are legitimately of Demi.” IF these pictures come out and IF they are valid, the scandal could actually help The X Factor , which returns to Fox late next month. That show needs all the publicity it can get. It’s unclear where these photos came from and whether they are part of the giant hacking ring last year that led the FBI to get involved after 50-plus famous women (including Scarlett Johansson, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus) had their privacy invaded by some gross moron. In the meantime, we’ll continue to admire Lovato for keeping her clothes on … but proving that you should still love yourself with makeup off , as depicted here: Demi Lovato: No Makeup!

There were a gluttonous amount of new movies opening this weekend and as the dust clears this morning, it’s The Butler that comes out on top with an impressive $25 million. That really isn’t all that surprising given T he Butler reviews , so the real news comes after the #1 spot. Amazingly enough, We’re The Millers comes in at number two with $17.7 million beating out last week’s box office winner Elysium . Kick-Ass 2 came in a distant fourth with $13.5 million and Ashton Kutcher’s Jobs that had so much buzz going into the weekend, managed to only bring in $6.7 million. Dog the Bounty Hunter, or Duane Chapman, is reportedly going after Edward Snowden … even if that means illegally trying to capture him in Russia. “Sometimes you gotta bend the rules to save America,” Dog is quoted as saying. “And if I can catch this traitor Snowden and bring him back to God’s side, then it will be well worth the risk of a lifetime of hard labor in a Siberian gulag.” Sure thing. Dog is apparently not alone in his dogged pursuit. Reports say several bounty hunters are willing to risk their freedom to capture and return the “fugitive” NSA whistleblower , who sought asylum in Russia. None more high profile than Chapman, however. According to reports, he stated, “Every Dog has it’s day, but Snowden, your days are numbered. Me and Beth are gonna catch you and bring ya to justice.” “We’re gonna do it the American way. If you’re listening right now slick Eddy, the Dog’s comin’ for ya. You can run, but you can’t hide.” “The Dog has picked up your trail.” Dog and his wife Beth Chapman are said to be headed to Hong Kong first in an effort to sniff out possible clues in Snowden’s old hotel room there. This story may or may not be fake , as its sources are questionable and it has already sparked several denials … but even so, it’s a hilarious concept.

Nicolas Hoult as Hank McCoy, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, and of course, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine all looking rather dashing in this newest X-Men: Days of Future Past photo. Directed by Bryan Singer, the newest X-Men also stars Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Anna Pacquin, and Peter Dinklage. Filming has wrapped up and the film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 23rd.
