Chrissy Teigen is a woman who puts it all out there. In every sense. As we all know by now, John Legend’s fiancee does not shy away from confrontation. She proved as much again when some idiot mocked her recent GQ spread. Yes … someone complained about seeing Chrissy Teigen nude . The model posted a screen shot of a guy telling her to “keep your clothes on” because she was “not sexy and all” and “[looks] like a vertical Park Bench.” “Such devotion to a lame dis,” the 27-year-old noted, mock-applauding the tweeter , before saying, “Really tired of men being such critical pricks.” “Seriously. All day I just get jabs about my face and body from men. I know it seems so stupid but reading s–t like this all day every day. F–k off, already.” “It’s easy to tell someone not to care. But the fact is, it gets to me.” “Sigh. Rant done.” Rant away, CT. While no one’s saying you have to bow down and worship Chrissy Teigen or Kate Upton topless , what do you accomplish by insulting them on Twitter? Also, calling her a vertical park bench is neither accurate nor funny. So get a life, douchebag, and don’t hate on Chrissy just because she’s beautiful.
Prepare to pay a little more for your Tall Nonfat Iced Macchiato. Starbucks spokesman Jim Olson tells CNN that the chain will soon hike prices on its brewed coffee, tea, latte and espresso beverages by an average of 1%. Fewer than one-third of all drinks will be affected, Olson said , as prices will remain stagnant on all Frappuccinos, for instance. Olson added that this is the first price increase in nearly two years for the franchise and that tall brewed coffees will go up by approximately 10 cents. The reason for this increase? A rising cost of labor, raw materials and rent. But it’s not all bad news: This Starbucks Chocolate Cinnamon Bread Recipe can still be made from the comfort of your own home!
Richard Matheson, a prolific and influential writer of fantasy, horror and science fiction novels, has died at the age of 87, according to news reports. Many of his works have been adapted for TV and cinema, and Stephen King has often cited him as the single biggest influence on his own work. Like King, Matheson sent shivers down the spines of readers and viewers for decades with stories like The Incredible Shrinking Man and I Am Legend . He also penned the story and screenplay for one of Steven Spielberg’s most effective films, Duel , and 16 installments of TV’s The Twilight Zone . For Richard Matheson, horror was to be found potentially everywhere: battlefields, suburban streets, a cellar, an aircraft cabin. Even a library. Matheson was born in Allendale, N.J., to Norwegian parents, and raised up in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he first set his heart on a musical career. An avid appetite for fantasy soon sparked his imagination and fired his creativity: he was only eight when his stories appeared in a local newspaper. Among other influences, he was transfixed by seeing Dracula at a local cinema and by his teens had the idea for the vampire story I Am Legend . R.I.P.
Talk show host John Kerwin recently went on a date with Brandi Glanville and lived to tell about it … despite the fact that she has the Human Papillomavirus. That’s what he claims, anyway, calling it “whacked” that she didn’t reveal she has HPV before trying to get intimate following a romantic date. Radar states that Brandi Glanville was turned down for a one night stand with talk show host after things got “crazy out of control very quickly.” Brandi began kissing John “in a very aggressive manner,” a source says, “then bit his neck, which drew blood” and made it clear she wanted sex. That’s when Kerwin reportedly put the brakes on . “John turned her down because he isn’t the type of guy to have a one night stand. He has too much respect for women to do that,” the source says. Being too drunk to drive, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star banished John to the guest room,” the source said, declining to mention the STD. That revelation came from her book, Drinking & Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders , in which she alleges she got HPV from ex-hubby, Eddie Cibrian . Now writing a second book about relationships, Brandi may want to take Kerwin’s suggestion for the title. He recommends: “My Life As An Open Sore.” Not that he’s entirely bitter about the situation. “I think she is fine,” he said. “We got along. I think at one point she slapped me in the face, which I thought was hot, which tells you where I’m at… she is great.” She really is … for entertainment value if nothing else.
We know Miley Cyrus can Twerk . But now we also now she can tweak. Her dad, that is. In a big, threatening way. The singer posted a mysterious message on Twitter last night, addressing Billy Ray and writing: “Since you won’t reply to my texts I’m giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you.” She included with the Tweet the following photo of herself alongside an unidentified woman: Cyrus then deleted the cryptic warning and implied her account was hacked. “Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!” she wrote. However, this isn’t the first time since her parents’ divorce that Miley has called out her father. Soon after Billy Ray and Tish announced their split, the star Tweeted to her dad: “Since your texts and email obviously aren’t working would you like to talk like this?” She did go on to wish her parent a happy Father’s Day a few days later, but damage has clearly been done here. Of what nature? It’s unclear. Miley’s messages are even more head-scratching than the We Can’t Stop video .
The only thing that’s been Taken here is a bunch more money. Liam Neeson, who was initially having second thoughts about starring in Taken 3 is currently negotiating a $20 million contract to star in the third installment of the action franchise that essentially reinvented his career. The price tag marks a $5 million raise from his salary for the last film. The writers of the first two films, Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, are working on the new script, with Olivier Megaton possibly returning to direct. Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace have yet to sign on. Production is expected to begin in February 14.

We got a feeling Orlando Bloom has a hard time keeping up with this woman!!! Former Victoria’s Secret banger and mega-supermodel Miranda Kerr is profiled in a new Net-A-Porter story where she talks about retiring from being one of the faces of the famous underwear brand, being targeted by the Hollywood bling ring and how she balances her huge career with a happy marriage — and we really wanted to share her philosophy. Check out this quote about how she approaches marriage: “I am quite dominant in my career, so what really works for me when I come home, is to relax more into the feminine side. If you’re really an alpha female, you don’t allow [your partner] to have the space to feel like the man in the relationship. Maybe I am too traditional, but men feel important when you ask for their help, instead of thinking you can do it all on your own.” In a more candid mode, she adds: “My mistake in my relationships has been to feel that I can do it all on my own: I don’t need a man. That is definitely a mistake. Women generally want to feel loved and appreciated. It’s something that I am working on every day, trust me! It’s a challenge for me to do that.” Do you think Miranda is on to something? Or is it wrong for a woman who is a leader in her industry to subdue her nature in order to put her man at ease? Hit the flip for more from Miranda on why she is no longer modeling for Victoria’s Secret and to see some more swimwear shots. Photo Credit: Mariano Vivanco
