Fort Worth Officer Arrests Distraught Black Mother Who Called Him For Help A Fort Worth mother, disturbed by her neighbor’s actions toward her 7-year-old son, called an officer to help her properly confront the neighbor about his actions. Instead, she was spoken down to, antagonized, and ultimately arrested herself. The mother needed assistance as a white man allegedly choked her seven-year-old son after he supposedly littered. The man ordered him to pick up the paper he dropped, and assaulted the little boy when he wouldn’t comply. The child immediately told his mother what happened, at which point she called the police to confront the man. The cop’s response? “Well why didn’t you teach your son not to litter?” UNBELIEVABLE. The mother naturally got upset with the officer’s line of questioning and expressed as much, at which point the officer escalated the situation and ended up arresting the mother for getting too “Mouthy” with him. Meanwhile the grown man who chokes first-graders over trash hasn’t been asked a single thing. The Fort Worth Police Department addressed the issue , since it went viral on social media, and say that the clearly racist officer has been put on “restricted duty” while they continue the investigation into what happened. We guess the video clearly showing what happened isn’t quite clear enough… We doubt their “findings” will conclude much more than “officers get to do whatever they want.” SMH. At least no one was shot or killed this time… According to CBS , the executive director of the ACLU of Texas, Terri Burke released the following statement on the matter: “We regret that the FWPD is giving the officer 48 hours to prepare his report on the incident. That leaves us with only the video on which to rely for information. When the mother of a seven-year-old boy calls the police to report an assault on her son, the responding officer should expect to find her distraught. In this instance, the officer ignored basic community policing standards and his own responsibility to de-escalate the confrontation. This incident and countless others like them demonstrate that for people of color, showing anything less than absolute deference to police officers —regardless of the circumstances — can have unjust and often tragic consequences. This fundamental injustice is also a threat to public safety. If a Black woman in Fort Worth can’t call the cops after her son is allegedly choked by a neighbor without getting arrested, why would she ever call the cops again?” Ridiculous. SMH. Facebook

It’s been just about a month now since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt , and it seems like things have gotten worse with each passing day. The first thing we heard was that Brad’s alleged drug use and drinking was what caused Angelina to pull the plug on the couple’s long relationship. And then, heartbreaking though it was, it came out that Brad was being investigated for child abuse after an incident on a plane. Brad was said to have struck his oldest son, Maddox, though reports vary on whether or not he actually meant to hit the boy. There’s also been countless claims that Brad was cheating on Angelina , and she filed for divorce after she found out. If you’ll notice, all these stories point to Brad being the bad guy here. He hasn’t really defended himself, and he even agreed to undergo random drug testing as part of the temporary custody agreement, so it’s been easy to assume that whatever happened, it was largely Brad’s fault. But according to this new report, Brad has just been biding his time . And things are about to get downright nasty. A source states that while the L.A.Department of Children and Family Services is still looking into the incident on the plane, the investigation will be over soon. And when that happens, Brad is going to fight for sole custody of the kids. Apparently Brad would have been fine with sharing custody with Angelina, but since she’s not willing to do that, he’s taking an “all or nothing” approach. “Brad’s taking the kids,” the source says. “And it’s Angie’s worst nightmare.” Yikes. The source explains that Angie isn’t “receptive” to the idea of joint custody “because she’s insisting on having sole physical custody. Angie knows that the only way she can punish Brad is by using the kids in her bitter battle with him.” “It’s a very sick game she’s playing, and she could end up losing everything.” If you don’t understand how Brad could possibly end up with sole custody after everything that’s been said about him lately, well, this insider can explain that, too. “While Angie’s camp has continued to spread lies about him and make him sound like a monster and an unfit parent, he’s refused to go dirty on her in the media. But in front of a judge, it will be another story.” “Brad has compiled a complete dossier on Angelina,” the source continues, “of the serious mental health issues she has dealt with over the years. He is saving all of the pertinent and necessary information for the battle in court, where it matters.” “He’ll go after Angelina and expose her psychological demons, show how she puts the children in dangerous situations when she visits war-torn countries and more.” “He’ll be proven as the furthest thing from the villain she’s tried to paint him to be,” the source concludes. “He’s ready for her, He can and will refute all her claims in family court. Samsung Warns Customers To Turn Off Dangerous Phones As you’ve probably heard by now, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phones have been blowing up in the hands and laps of customers right and left — to the point where the company has had to replace them by the tens of thousands for free. For a moment, it seemed that the problem had been solved. But a new emergency alert sent out by the company today dispelled that thought…and customers may still be in danger if they’re still chatting it up and cruising the internet on the phones. Whether you still have the old explosive Galaxy Note 7, or the replacement one…the carrier suggests that you turn your phone off IMMEDIATELY and leave it off. Via USAtoday : Whether you’ve hung onto the original Note 7 or exchanged it for one of the replacement devices, Samsung and federal regulators are urging consumers to turn the device off because some of the phones — including replacement units — are overheating when charged. “No one should have to be concerned their phone will endanger them, their family or their property,” U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission Chairman Elliot Kaye said in a statement emailed to USA TODAY. “Due to the ongoing safety concerns associated with Galaxy Note 7 phones, it is the right move for Samsung to suspend the sale and exchange of all Galaxy Note 7s.” The South Korean electronics giant, meanwhile, issued a statement late Monday, in which it asked “all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 while the investigation is taking place.” Late Sunday, Samsung temporarily halted production of the Note 7 to take steps to ensure quality and safety matters.
