Compton, a boxing club and Justin Bieber… what the heck do these three things have in common? Well, I am about to tell you! It all started March 1 st  1994 on a Tuesday…Ok totally kidding. It started at this year’s Teen Choice Awards. My friend @itsjustme_brie (Brie) lives in New Jersey and was flying to LA to stay for the weekend, so that we could attend the Teen Choice Awards. We thought for sure we would meet Justin, get a picture, fall madly in love and live happily ever after! That’s the dream, Right? But honestly, we just wanted to meet Justin, tell him how much he means to us and get a picture with him. Sadly they didn’t even come close to happening. The TCA’s were a TOTAL bust! There was no red carpet that fans had access to, the celebrities were completely separate from our section and Justin and Selena left the show early. So, there was literally NO chance for us to meet him. We were heartbroken! Brie had come all this way and there was NO hope! But, as you all should know by now there is NO SUCH THING as no hope when it comes to Justin Drew Bieber. The next day Brie and I were in recovery mode. We had mega blister on our feet from our high heels, we were tried and so unbelievably bummed we didn’t meet Justin. The next day was Tuesday, also Brie’s last day in LA. We had a whole day planned to make her trip not a total waist. We were going to do the usual Los Angles stuff, Hollywood Blvd, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier ECT. Brie and I both assumed that Justin had gone to NYC with Kenny so we didn’t even bother trying to find where he was. While Brie and I were getting ready I grabbed my phone and scanned through my instagram. I saw a picture of Justin outside a gym called “LA SANDS BOXING CLUB”. I scrolled down and there was another post of a street sign “Compton Ave”. I ran into the bathroom, where brie was getting ready, and started jumping up and down yelling “he’s still in LA, He’s still in LA” Brie looked at me like I was an insane person and said “What are you talking about?” I showed her the pictures, she freaked. I don’t think I have seen anyone packed and out of the house so fast in my life. I Google mapped “LA SANDS BOXING CLUB” and we were on the road to find BIEBER! We really had no idea if Justin was still there or if he had taken that picture as he was leaving, but we didn’t care there was a small chance and that’s all we needed. We drove about an hour and a half and my GPS said we were at our destination. However, there was no “LA SANDS BOXING CLUB” in sight! I looked at the end address on my GPS and it had taken us to the wrong place! We were seriously FREAKING OUT! At this point it had been two hours since Justin had posted the picture and we thought for sure he would be gone. Still Brie and I both decided that we had come this far, we had to see if he was there. I typed the CORRECT address into the GPS and we were on the road again. Traffic was BAD we were trying to go as fast as possible but it wasn’t looking good. FINALLY we made our way to where the photo-shoot was at. We pull up to the parking lot and you know that sinking, butterfly, nauseous, OMG feeling you get in your stomach when something good happens? That’s what was going on for me. My stomach was doing flips, turns and all other crazy things because… THIS WAS IT! There was a large trailer, a hummer, a Mercedes, and the sign from Justin’s instagram picture. We parked and sat in the car for a moment to scope things out. There were people walking in and out of the trailer to the gym, two people sitting on chairs out front but no sign of Justin. We decided now or never and got out. We walked to the people sitting in the chairs and I said “this is totally going to freak you out but is Justin Bieber inside?” The pretty red head looks at me and says rudely “No, he left an hour ago”. I said “Oh ok thanks” but I thought something was fishy! Never trust a model is my motto but what do I know. I walked over to the sign to take a picture. I figured that’s the least I could get out of this mission. Just as I am taking the picture a guy comes out light up a cigarette and asks, “Can I help you? Are you lost?” I respond “Oh no just getting a picture, Justin is inside right?” He says, “Yea, but there is security, you can’t go up there.” I say, “He’s has to leave sometime” The guy at the door puts out his cigarette, winks at me and says, “It end at 4:00PM” I about died then and there! We were both SO happy! Justin was no more than 20 feet from us and he would be walking out the door in about an hour! So what did we do? We waited. About 10 minutes later Ryan Good walks out of the trailer and towards us. As soon as he get close enough I blurt out our story to him as fast as I possibly can. He looks at me with this VERY scared look and starts to back up slowly he says “How… did … you … find… us” . Again I blurt out how we found out where they were. Ryan still looking pretty scared says, “Umm ok, well nice seeing you again” and walks up the stairs. I couldn’t keep from laughing; Brie and I both were cracking up. It was official, we were stalkers and it was embarrassing but none the less hilarious. Another 20 minutes pass, Brie and I are just talking, she has her back to the door and BAM. There is Justin, Shirtless, Wet, and seemingly beat up (make up from the photo shoot) walking right past us! I say “Hi Justin” He raised his left hand just enough to show his newest tattoo on his side shows and say “Hi ladies” My heart stopped. I said “Can we have a picture when you have time” He says “Yea” and walks in the trailer. Brie and I are both dying inside but we kept our cool. Ryan walks past us and I tell him “Sorry to have totally scared the crap out of you” He said “Na, you guys are cool I was just caught off guard” He walked away and seconds later Justin came out of the trailer. He walked right towards us with his new security guard AKA White Kenny. I tell Justin, “We’re not going to scream or freak out” Justin smiled and said “Ok good”  This seemed to get the security guard to calm down a little, he took a couple steps back and let us have some space with Justin. I reach out my hand and say “Hi Justin I am Ashley, Nice to meet you” he says it’s nice to meet me too. He does the same with Brie. Then he says “Sorry I look crazy it’s from the make-up” We all laugh and I tell him “Don’t worry the other guy looked MUCH worse” (there was an MMA fighter that came out prior who look beat up) He laughed and said “That’s cuz I beat him up” This whole time he is smiling that amazing genuine smile of his that just melts your heart. So I say “Ok, ready to take a picture?” He said “Yep” so I stood super close to him, held up my iPhone and said “ready” he put his hand on the small of my back and said “yep”. Then I realized I didn’t want one of those cookie cutter pictures with him, not that they are bad, ANY picture with Justin is a GREAT picture. I just wanted something different so I turned and looked right into those AMAZING eyes and said “Can we do a funny one” He said “Anything you want” I about died!! (Actually I did die. I have no idea how I’m writing this right now! Justin Bieber told me “ANYTHING YOU WANT” Like really!! That happened in real life, to me!) So I stick my tongue out towards him and he does some kind of weird face and I snap the picture. I look at him again and ask “Can we do a normal one too” He says “Of course”. After that its Brie’s turn she walks up to him and says “Congratulations on all of your Teen Choice Awards” He says “thank you” He puts his am on her shoulder and I snap the picture. As they step back from each other he ran his hand down her back. She’s dying I can see it in her face. We say our thank yous. We made sure to tell him what a great guy he is, how good he is so great to us fan and thanks for being so cool about everything. We both get hugs which were nothing short of amazing! As were walking away he says “Are you guys from around here?” We both start to laugh a little thinking, no Justin, we are not from Compton. Brie says No, that she came all the way out here from New Jersey to support him. He says “Oh wow, really? That’s awesome thank you” I say that I live about an hour away. He says “oh ok” but he was still looking at me funny… so I say “Oh yea and I was in your movie” He points at me and a huge smile crept up in his face and he was like “OHHHH I knew I recognized you from somewhere” (Justin Bieber recognized me, from his movie where I confessed my undying love for him!!!! Like really??? Again I about die, I was above my body thinking this is NOT my life) I laugh and say “Yep, That’s me” He smiled yet again and said “You girl have a great day” We both thank him for the millionth time. He says it was “No problem” he waved and we got in my car. He was still outside of his car and we had played so cool we didn’t want to freak just yet. I put the car out of the driveway and drove off. Justin waved goodbye and smiled! The second we were out of his view we complete FREAKED OUT. Screaming, clapping, Brie cried totally picture perfect. So what do Compton, a boxing club and Justin Bieber have in common? Brie and I DUH! Meeting Justin was completely AWESOME! Who has the chance to just meet Justin alone and be themselves with him? It was unreal!
