Supreme Court Throws Out "Birther" Lawsuit

Somewhere, Donald Trump is so pissed … and quickly moving on to think up ways he can zing Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnin on the morning show circuit. The U.S. Supreme Court announced it will not hear an appeal of a lawsuit by plaintiffs – including Buena Park, Calif., Pastor Wiley Drake – claiming that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen and so cannot legitimately hold the presidency. The nation’s highest court threw out the case , hopefully the last of its kind. The Prez scores a rare win … that he’d already “won” several times . Santa Ana-based U.S. District Judge David Carter as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit had previously ruled that the plaintiffs did not have legal standing. Putting the matter to rest, the Supreme Court upheld that ruling. Probably because Obama was born in Hawaii … imagine that. More interestingly and legitimately, a report recently suggested Obama may have once lied about being born in Kenya to boost his literary resume.

Jersey Shore Cast: BALLING After Inking New Contracts

With this much cash money flowing in, it’s amazing the Jersey Shore cast still does its own laundry to go with all that hardcore gym and tanning action. The roving gang of hooligans from Seaside Heights, N.J., were angling for an $10,000 a season not so long ago. Nowadays? Chump change. The Situation, Pauly D and Snooki are each taking home $150,000 per EPISODE, according to a new report … or $1.8 million per season. Man. Hey, advertisers pay MTV big bucks because you love to watch Deena and Snooki nude and making out. Don’t hate the players, hate the game. That’s not including a reported $400,000 signing bonus they got at the beginning of the season, or additional money for reunion specials, etc. The rest of the cast isn’t doing quite that well, but JWoww still brings in about $100,000 per episode and Vinny Guadagnino makes $90,000 per. Sometime lovebirds Ronnie and Sammi each bring in about $80,000 per installment, while newcomer Deena Cortese earns $40,000 an episode. Must suck to make that much less than your colleagues, but $40,000 a week to get wasted, flash your kooka and get arrested in mid-day? That’s good work if you can get it.

In the lead-up to the release, the singer just dropped a new single, “Die in Your Arms,” last week. T.I. Gives Proud Papa Hov Parenting Advice: “You’ve Got To Be Blue Ivy’s First Love”

Family hustle man T.I. has passed on some fatherly advice to new dad Jay-Z In an Interview with Fuse, the rapper, who is the father of six gave the Roc Nation boss some useful tips to bear in mind while he raises his four-month-old daughter with Beyonce, Blue Ivy: “Little girls are going to judge men they meet in the future based off how their father treated them,” said the rapper and star of VH1’s ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.’ “You’ve got to be her first love, her first everything so when she run into nonsense in the street then she’ll know, ‘Nah, my daddy would never do it like that, so this isn’t even worth my time or attention.’” Before adding not to forget one vital thing: “Another piece of advice is enjoy the moments. Enjoy the moments because once they’re gone, they’re gone,” he said. Nice words from T.I., but with all the love Blue Ivy has coming from the Carter house, we think Jay has this one under control. We don’t foresee Tiny giving Bey any tips anytime soon. Do you think the “Trouble Man” should be giving Hov fatherly advice? Source

Jesus Take The Wheel: 6.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Northern Italy, At Least 4 Dead

6.0 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Northern Italy A strong earthquake rocked a large swathe of northern Italy early on Sunday, killing at least four people, injuring dozens and seriously damaging historic buildings such as churches, bell towers and a medieval castle. The 6.0-magnitude quake was centered 22 miles north-northwest of Bologna in northern Italy at a relatively shallow depth of 6.3 miles, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website. It struck at about 4 a.m. local time and was followed about an hour later by one of 5.1 magnitude thet causded more damage and more buildings to collapse, officials and witnesses said. “I ran out in my underwear,” one man told Italian television. The epicenter of the quake, the strongest to hit Italy in three years, was in the plains near Modena in the Emilia-Romagna region of the Po river valley, and the tremor was felt as far west as Liguria, bordering France, and the Friuli region bordering Slovenia. There was serious damage to historic buildings and churches in the provinces of Modena and Ferrara, and the quake also shook major towns such as Bologna, Rovigo, Verona and Mantua. A series of strong aftershocks hit the area, the strongest measuring 5.1, and local mayors ordered residents to stay in the open. The last major quake to hit Italy was a 6.3 magnitude quake in the central city of L’Aquila in 2009, which killed nearly 300 people. After that quake, then Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi moved a G8 meeting that was to have been held in Sardinia to near L’Aquila in a show of solidarity with the victims. Source

Elisabetta Canalis Bottom Feeding Tits of the Day

Elisabetta Canalis pretty much won the lottery when Clooney, obsessed with Italy, decided to bring her ghetto trash, local news host ass to America, where she fell for the tacky site of Hollywood’s Luxury and jumped on Dancing with the Stars, even though her talent was really Dancing on the Stars with her pussy…..leading to hitting rock bottom, dating Steve-O, with no where to turn, since she bottom fed before she even go started….doing the last resort programming before ever making it….but that was before today….where she’s gone back to Europe to participate in Borat’s new movie promotion on a yacht…..the most relevant thing she’s done since Clooney…maybe this is a revival…her second chance…and who really cares if it is or isn’t…so long as she’s in a bikini…cuz her body is rocking. Cannes Film Festival: Our Top 10 Must-See Movies

Films from Robert Pattinson (‘Cosmopolis’) and Kristen Stewart (‘On the Road’) have us pumped, along with eight others. By Kevin P. Sullivan Robert Pattinson in “Cosmopolis” Photo: Alfama Films Hollywood is officially headed to the French Riviera for the 65th Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off Wednesday. With so much of the attention Stateside focused squarely on the “Rob and Kristen Factor,” we thought it would be helpful to take a look at the lineup and share the films we are most excited about at the upcoming festival. Here are our top 10 most anticipated movies at the Cannes Film Festival: 10. “The Paperboy” This adaptation of the Peter Dexter novel marks Lee Daniels’ first film since making it big on the indie scene with “Precious.” “The Paperboy” promises a different direction for Daniels, telling the story of a reporter (John Cusack) who travels back to his home town to investigate a death-row case. 9. “Reality” Director Matteo Garrone made waves at Cannes in 2008 with his hyper-real look at Neapolitan organized crime, “Gomorrah,” which won the Grand Jury Prize that year. For this year’s festival, he returns with “Reality,” a look at the way we perceive life since the dawn of reality television. 8. “Cosmopolis” Robert Pattinson’s name alone has drawn much attention to this in-competition film, but the true nature of its intrigue lies with its director, David Cronenberg. With his adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel, Cronenberg, with the help of Pattinson, of course, looks to be revisiting the bizarre aesthetics and subject matters that made him famous in the 1980s. We’ve been waiting for this one ever since it won the MTV Movie Brawl 2012 back in January. 7. “Like Someone in Love” “Certified Copy,” the previous film from Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami, earned Juliette Binoche a best actress award at Cannes in 2010, but the film itself is one of the best examples of pure art-house filmmaking in the past few years. With “Like Someone in Love,” Kiarostami shifts his focus from Italy to Japan but keeps the same entry point of a man and a woman who may or may not know each other. 6. “Amour” “The White Ribbon,” Michael Haneke’s previous film tangentially about the saplings of fascism in Germany, wowed audiences on the Croisette in 2009, and “Amour” seems poised to do the same. The film tells the story of Georges and Anne, an octogenarian couple whose bond comes under strain after one of them suffers an attack. 5. “On the Road” Similar to “Cosmopolis,” “On the Road” has drawn a great deal of attention because it features a “Twilight” star, in this case Kristen Stewart, but she only makes up an element of this insanely star-studded Jack Kerouac adaptation, which also stars Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen and Terrence Howard. 4. “Lawless” Formerly known as “Wettest County,” this Southern-set prohibition crime film boasts a cast featuring Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Jessica Chastain, Gary Oldman and Guy Pearce and a critical darling of a director, John Hillcoat. The recently released trailer looks strong, and Hillcoat’s pedigree alone (his previous films include “The Proposition” and “The Road”) make this a must-see for the festival. 3. “Rust and Bone” A film about a whale trainer who loses a leg to an orca doesn’t necessary seem like Palme d’Or material, but “Rust and Bone” comes from director Jacques Audiard, who took the Grand Jury Prize in 2009 with the impressive “A Prophet,” and it stars Marion Cotillard as the unfortunate trainer. 2. “Killing Them Softly” It wouldn’t be surprising if you haven’t seen “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” but it would certainly be unfortunate. The western starring Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck debuted and left theaters quietly, but since 2007, the film has slowly gained a reputation as a modern classic. As director Andrew Dominik’s first film since “Jesse James,” “Killing Them Softly” stands out as both his reunion with Pitt and his much-anticipated follow-up. 1. “Mud” A writer/director may take a few films to nail down their voice and storytelling identity, but with his first two movies, Jeff Nichols has not only established himself as a serious filmmaker, but also one of the most exciting auteurs working today. Those films, “Shotgun Stories” and “Take Shelter,” are two genuine masterpieces of American filmmaking, and we look forward to his third feature film “Mud,” starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon.
