Jada Pinkett-Smith’s show “HawthoRNe” has been canceled! This news come on top of recent divorce rumors plaguing her and her husband Will Smith, as well as the ones claiming she had an affair with co-star Marc Anthony (ultimately contributing to his divorce from Jennifer Lopez too). After three seasons, TNT has canceled the medical drama saying: “TNT has decided not to order a fourth season of ‘HawthoRNe.’ TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved in ‘HawthoRNe.’ The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show’s talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best.” Marc Anthony Opens Up About Divorce: Was It Infidelity? In a new ABC interview, Marc Anthony says he and Jennifer Lopez made a joint decision to divorce and, no, he did not have an affair. But a source tells Us Weekly the singer/actor did have have “inappropriate relationship” with HawthoRNe co-star Jada Pinkett Smith, somewhat confirming previous reports that linked this pair together romantically. “They were a little touchy and like they were in their own little world,” an on-set insider says , claiming Smith and Anthony often hung out alone in his trailer, while talking and texting often. Near the end of Anthony’s seven-year marriage to Jennifer Lopez, this mole says Marc leaned on Jada like never before. “The more distant Marc and Jennifer became, the closer he got to Jada… Jennifer didn’t like that.” Of course, another on-set source alleges the exact opposite to be true. So believe whichever side you’d like, readers. [Photo: TNT]
What the heck happened at the end of this week’s Bachelor Pad episode ? The last rose came down to Jake Pavelka – who ominously vowed that if he was going home, he was going to take as many people as he could out with him – and Kasey Kahl. The music built to a crescendo and then … the credits rolled. Chris Harrison said “Kasey,” but that was it. Presumably he’s getting a rose? It’s all unclear. The host-pimp says next week, “it will all make sense.” Either way, it was odd: Bachelor Pad Episode 3 Rose Ceremony Is there a chance Jake Pavelka actually sticks around? Or did the show decide to edit it this way simply to spread Jake’s epic meltdown upon being voted off? We’ll find out next Monday night, obviously. But until then … Whose side are you on in this Bachelor Pad battle?
There’s really nothing that a good brunch can’t fix. Such was the attitude of Will and Jada Smith this morning, as the couple – under siege with rumors that she cheated on him with Marc Anthony – was spotted getting coffee and omelets at Bob Morris’ Beach Cafe in Malibu. They departed holding hands and with huge smiles on their faces, making a point to acknowledge the paparazzi and pose for photos with fans. TMZ has a video of Will laughing about the “ridiculous” gossip. Did the pair go out of its way to be seen in public? Laughing and seemingly in love? Probably. But that doesn’t mean the chatter is true. What do you think? Did Jada cheat on Will?
Although divorce rates among black women and men are higher than average, black love is still very much alive. Marriages and relationships that continue to stand the tests of time, trials, and tolerance give hope to black singles searching for strong, black love. Remaining together can be even more difficult for couples who face scandals, rumors, and other hurdles that come along with living in the public eye. So those who have shown long-term commitment are to be congratulated and encouraged. The Emmy’s have proven that they don’t care about Black people . But this isn’t anything new. Some of the most memorable shows we’ve loved and adored have gotten snubbed by the award show. Let’s delve deeper and see exactly which ones got snubbed.
Are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith planning on having more kids? E! correspondent Michael Yo interviewed Jada on the set of her hit show “HawthoRNe,” in which the two talk about her character being pregnant and if the couple will add to their brood of Jaden, Willow and Will’s son from his first marriage Christian. I noticed in the first episode, you were pregnant, you had a little belly. Did you ever reminisce about when you were actually pregnant? Oh yeah. I did. It was like, you just know all the ways of being with the stomach and how you walk. And I was thinking, I loved being pregnant! I really did. And it was kinda sad, I said, I will never be pregnant again. No? Heck no! My bonus son just graduated from high school! Me with a diaper bag? I almost got the other two out the house! I’m like, no, sir. I am so done! Shop closed! So, Will’s on that same page too? You know what, it’s funny because he actually, the last couple of months, has been like, ‘Come on, let’s have one more, please let me have one more.’ Guys always wanna reproduce! I was like, what’s going on? Nope, not happening. Will Smith’s Advice: “Marry Your Homie; Give Your Hubby 30 Minutes To Himself” Jada Pinkett-Smith Talks Love Triangle On “Chelsea Lately” [VIDEO]
