Madoff Enters North Carolina Prison (New York Times)

Bernard L. Madoff, sentenced last month to 150 years in prison for orchestrating a massive Ponzi scheme, was moved from his Manhattan jail cell to a penitentiary in North Carolina, a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Reuters – Admitted thief Bernard Madoff was moved from his New York jail cell on Monday and was traveling to federal prison, a U.S. prison official said.
