He may have been knighted by the queen, but Sir Elton John isn’t above throwing some EPIC shade. This time, it’s directed at Janet Jackson. In an interview with Rolling Stone , the “Tiny Dancer” singer complained about music critics who praise artists’ performances when it’s clear they’ve lip-synced. “You know, f**king music magazines writing a review of Janet Jackson saying, ‘This is the greatest show – four and a half stars,’” he quipped. “It’s f**king lip-synced!” he added. “Hello! That’s not a show! I’d rather go and see a drag queen. F**k off.” DOH. “I say what I feel,” he said. Obviously. Elton took Madonna to task for lip syncing in the past, but admits that he may have been out of line. “I probably went too far with Madonna, and I got very personal and I wrote her – she was very gracious,” he said. But Janet and Madonna aren’t the only singers Elton has ripped on. Back in 2013, he referred to Miley Cyrus as “a meltdown waiting to happen,” but later praised her charity work and taste in men, specifically, Liam Hemsworth. “I’ll take her old boyfriend,” Elton joked. “As the French say, ‘A bit on the side.’ He’s gorgeous.” Of course, Elton has been married to longtime partner David Furnish , with whom he shares an adopted son. The flamboyant singer attributes his sharp tongue to having grown up in Britain, which he says “has a very lethal and wicked black sense of humor.” We kinda want to ask Elton what he really thinks of Kanye West. Nice to see Lamar Odom isn’t afraid to take some parting shots at Khloe Kardashian’s ex James Harden now that he’s out of the picture. As we previously reported, Khloe dumped James for cheating on her, putting the NBA superstar on blast publicly for straying to boot. Odom, who is still married to Khloe (and who cheated on her rather rampantly himself in 2013) cannot hide his delight over the split. According to Lamar, the Houston Rockets player was nothing but a “groupie” and Harden’s “cheating doesn’t surprise [him]” whatsoever. Says a source close to Odom in the wake of the breakup: “He only wanted to get with Khloe so he could date a famous woman. He was using her name to gain fame in the entertainment world.” “To be in the blogs and to be invited to some of the hottest places in LA … the NBA didn’t get him poppin’ and on the scene, Khloe did.” “He was one of her groupies. Lamar knew that all along.” Harden was pissed that Kardashian called him out on Kocktails With Khloe, and we’re guessing he won’t take kindly to this diss either. Calling someone a groupie is usually not a compliment. As for relations between Khloe and Lamar, no one ever seems to have a clear read on what’s going on in their tumultuous relationship. This is, after all, a couple that was about to divorce for very good reasons until he OD’d in a Vegas-area brothel and she called it off. Then, perplexingly, they did not reconcile and she continued to date Harden … only to dump him and say she’d remarry Odom one day. Probably not if reports of Lamar Odom spying on her are true, but the odds of Khlomar living happily ever after have improved at least. Still a long shot, for sure, but modestly improved odds. Carey and Packer have only been dating since June 2015 — but their relationship heated up real quick … with the two famously spending several consecutive weeks together on his yacht over the summer. Black Lives Matter Hold End Of Year Protest In Washington, DC While most of us were poppin’ bubbly, party hopping and hanging with loved ones , a selfless group of protesters brought their new year in protesting for justice and equality. Approximately 500 people showed up to support black lives in an end-of-year protest through the neighborhood of Chinatown, D.C. As the protest grew, police shut down the main intersection at 7th & H so the group could continue peacefully. See the video for yourself…
Delonte West, the mercurial basketball player who once played alongside LeBron James, took shots at his former teammate via Instagram in recent days.
