RihRih has been one of our favorite celebs to follow on Twitter for some time now and for good reason. Besides the prolific rapper quotables she’s dropped, she has been known to use the social media platform as a means to communicate with celebrity friends, frenzied fans and formidable foes (Hi Karrueche!) much to our amusement. And unlike her ex (who has been known to trash regrettable tweets) RihRih does all her dirt — from cursing, to sub-tweeting to tweeting under the influence of drugs and alcohol — all in the daylight. But she’s not all hard edges, especially when it comes to her fans. Currently in Japan promoting her role in the new Battleship film, Rihanna shared this gem yesterday: Sweet right? It gets sweeter.

At the end of the day, your girl would appreciate you being honest more than lying to her and vice versa.” Bieber added that he’s “loving and patient” in his relationship, while millions of fans around the globe added: OMG, I love him so much, he’s so adorable and Selena better treat him well or else she’ll have to answer to me. One of the most successful, buzzed-about singers in all of music turns 26 years young today. Happy birthday to Stefani Germanotta, a.k.a. Lady Gaga! The only question is how the New York native will celebrate. From urging fans to donate money to victims of the Japanese earthquake to using her star power to promote gay rights and denounce bullying, she’s never been one to rest on her laurels – even during as self-imposed media blackout. This year promises to be quieter for Gaga following 2011’s release of her smash hit sophomore album Born This Way , but don’t expect her to fade away. Not by a long shot. Love Lady Gaga or hate her, there’s no debate over the impact this artist has had on the industry, and her immense popularity with fans is unquestioned. Naked or clothed, with or without makeup , dressed like a slab of meat or a rumored hermaphrodite , we love us some Gaga. And we’re clearly not alone. Rock band will become first Japanese act to headline MSG on Sunday, which frontman Hyde calls ‘highlight’ of a 20-year career. By James Montgomery Hyde of L’arc en Ciel Photo: MTV News On Sunday, Japanese art-rock act L’Arc en Ciel — French for “the rainbow,” naturally — will make history when they become the first band from their homeland to headline a show at New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden. The show, part of the band’s 20th anniversary world tour, was originally scheduled for the much smaller Theater at MSG, but due to overwhelming demand from their long-suffering Stateside fans — L’Arc have played just one North American show in their two decades of existence, a 2004 gig at an Otaku convention in Baltimore — organizers moved it to the venerable Garden arena. And for a band that has had approximately zero promotion here in the U.S., it is understandably a very big deal, as frontman Hyde told MTV News (via translator) on Friday (March 23). “This is huge for our band to perform at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, so I want to make sure we give you the very best show for the American audience. … I want to take the very best of everything we’ve done in Japan and put it in this show,” Hyde said. “It’s so hard for a Japanese act to be successful in America, but we were given this opportunity, so that means there is a possibility for us to break in the American market. Ali Landry appeared on The Wendy Williams Show yesterday and made a startling admission: She and husband Alejandro Monteverde waited until after they were married to have sex. How come? Because the former Miss USA was burned so badly by her first husband, actor/host Mario Lopez. “I had heard something right before the wedding. He swore that it was not true, but I had that feeling in my gut,” Landry said of rumors that her then-fiance had been unfaithful, going on to explain she actually tapped Lopez’s phone to learn the truth. Ali Landry on Wendy Williams: No Sex Until Marriage Landry filed for an annulment two weeks after confronting Lopez about his infidelity – “He still – to this day – denied it and never apologized. It was horrible,” she says – and eventually met Monteverde in a theology class. But there were no bodily fluids exchanged until vows were exchanged. “Because of the situation I was in before, I was just treading lightly, and did not want to make any mistakes in this relationship,” Landry told Williams, adding of the father of her two kids: “He was the person I was meant to be with.”

Veteran stand-up comedian Gallagher – best known for smashing items on stage with a large wooden hammer he has deemed the Sledge-O-Matic – suffered a heart attack prior to a show in Texas on Wednesday and was rushed to the hospital. Sources confirm he has since been placed in a medically-induced coma and will likely be awoken from it some time today. Gallagher Smashes Stuff on Stage The 65-year old’s manager, Christine Scherrer, tells The Huffington Post that her client is in stable condition , is “slowing recovering” and is expected to return to the stage in the near future after suffering his second heart attack in a year. Gallagher’s performances for this weekend have been rescheduled and we wish him nothing but great health going forward.
