The Bachelorette Rap Video: Desiree Hartsock Featuring Soulja Boy (Seriously)

Desiree Hartsock rapping is kind of adorable but also really awkward, and she does so alongside Soulja Boy in a special Bachelorette music video. Yes, we’re serious. Not exactly earth-shattering Bachelorette spoilers here, but she and a bunch of suitors recorded this on the season’s first group date. Take a look, and try not to cringe too noticeably: The Bachelorette Rap Video – Desiree Hartsock ft. Soulja Boy Remember Emily O’Brien, from Ben Flajnik’s season? That girl could RAP. Desiree Hartsock ? Not so much. We’ve seen THG’s interns do better. Then again, that’s Des for you. She was always a little bit awkward, not your stereotypical pulled-together girl, which is why we love her so hard. On the other hand, one of the guys dresses up like Jason Mesnick’s son, Chris Harrison appears at the end, and Soulja Boy’s career is apparently over. So it’s not without merit. Call this one a wash.

Jason and Molly Mesnick Welcome Baby Girl!

It’s a girl for Jason and Molly Mesnick, The Bachelor couple welcomed daughter Riley Anne Mesnick on Thursday, March 14, in Seattle, Washington. RIley weighed in at 6 lbs., 8 oz., and is 18 3/4 inches long. Jason says “daddy’s little girl” has “a full head of hair … probably more than I’ll have in the next few years.” He’s clearly in love with both women in his life. “What’s amazing to me is when Molly is holding Riley , her eyes do not come off her,” Jason, 36, adds. “I’m already seeing how much Molly loves the baby. This is the first child together for Jason Mesnick and the former Molly Malaney, 28, who met on Season 13 of The Bachelor and married the following year. It’s Molly’s first child. Riley joins big brother Tyler, 8, his son from his previous marriage. Needless to say, Ty is pretty excited about the new addition. “Ty has been asking for a sibling for so long,” Jason says. “He was here earlier holding her and kissing her and it was really, really cute. We’re so happy.” Congratulations to the couple! Here’s hoping Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici take their cues from these two, making it work so well after the show.

Jason and Molly Mesnick: Expecting!

The Bachelor’s Molly Mesnick is pregnant with her first child. It will be the second for her husband, Jason Mesnick, who was the first single dad to star on the ABC reality show. He has a seven-year-old son, Ty, with ex-wife Hillary. Jason and Molly tied the knot in 2010. “Our family is getting a little bit bigger!” Molly Mesnick (nee Malaney) confirmed to People magazine. “I’m into my second trimester and I feel really good.” The couple met on The Bachelor and endured major media scrutiny after Jason initially gave the final rose to Melissa Rycroft , only to break up with her for Molly. They weathered the storm, however, and soon got engaged, swapped vows in an ABC special and moved in together in Jason’s native Washington State. Happiest of all about the growing family? Little Ty. “He’s been so excited to be a big brother,” Jason says , explaining that the expectant couple broke the news to an excited Ty via a game of hang man. “The answer was ‘Tyler is going to be a big brother,’” Jason says. Molly also made him a t-shirt that says ‘Big Brother’ on it. Cute. This welcome news comes on the heels of two huge Bachelor breakups: Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson, and more surprisingly, Emily Maynard and Jef Holm . Congratulations to Jason and Molly on their impending arrival!

Melissa Rycroft, Tye Strickland Welcome Baby Girl!

Melissa Rycroft Strickland is now a mom. She and husband Tye Strickland welcomed daughter Ava Grace on Wednesday afternoon in Dallas on Wednesday! Ava Grace Strickland is the first child for the pair, who married in December 2009 in Mexico. Mother and child are resting comfortably and happy. “Our lives have changed so much in the last two years and today we’ve been blessed with the best change ever, our beautiful baby girl,” she said . The Stricklands have welcomed their newest family member . The onetime Bachelor contestant – who was famously dumped by Jason Mesnick after becoming engaged in an After the Final Rose stunner – said earlier this year that the surprise turn of events had been an enormous blessing in her life. “Everything is wonderful and life is exactly as it should be,” she said. Melissa Rycroft also made the Dancing With the Stars finals. Congratulations to the Texas beauty and her husband on this joyous moment in their lives.

It’s about time. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney love being married. So much so that they decided to start fresh at the 10-month mark. Why wait for the anniversary, right? The Bachelor stars renewed their vows in Las Vegas Sunday. The strange, but fun occasion was the Rock ‘n Roll Las Vegas Marathon. A marriage on the move! Congratulations to The Bachelor’s only successful couple! Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick were among the 60 running couples who made a pit stop near the 3-mile mark outside the Venetian’s “Run Thru Wedding.” Their Bachelor courtship that ended after he chose Melissa Rycroft, then rekindled on the “After the Final Rose” special when he asked for a second chance. The pride of Western Michigan exchanged vows with the single dad in February. The rest is history. Brad Womack , the torch is passed to you. Again.

Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders: Engaged!

Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders, his girlfriend, are getting married. Congrats to the snowboarder and former winner of The Bachelorette, and to Lueders, who later competed in Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor! This whole community is just so weird. Jesse won the final rose from DeAnna Pappas in 2008 over Mesnick, who went on to star on The Bachelor the following season. DeAnna just got engaged to Stephen Stagliano , the twin brother of Bachelor contestant Michael Stagliano. In any case, Jesse Csincsak and Ann Lueders are happy now, although to hear him tell it, the proposal itself could have gone a little more smoothly. “When I first asked for Ann’s hand in marriage, her dad didn’t realize that Ann wasn’t supposed to know,” Jesse tells People of his engagement to Ann. Hopefully Jesse Csincsak’s engagement to Ann Lueders lasts longer than his previous attempt! It probably will, since they didn’t meet on a reality TV dating show. “He went inside the house and Ann and her mom were just chatting and he goes, ‘So Jesse just asked me a very interesting question. He asked me if he could marry you.’ And she goes, ‘DAD! You’re not supposed to tell me that!'” “He didn’t do it on purpose!” adds Csincsak, who previously dated former Bachelor contestant Holly Durst, now engaged to Michael Stagliano of all people. “He was just trying to be the typical happy go lucky dad!” But in no way did it ruin her excitement when the moment came. Jesse popped the question on the shore of an island in Lake Erie near her Ohio hometown. Despite the spoiler alert, the bride didn’t expect it. “I told Jesse, ‘I wish I knew this was coming,'” Ann Lueders said. “I would have ran a brush through my hair!’ ” The pair will wed before the end of August in Las Vegas.

Melissa Rycroft to Co-Host Bachelor Pad

A little over a year after being dumped by Jason Mesnick on the “After the Final Rose” special, Melissa Rycroft is heading back to The Bachelor mansion. Not to find love this time – she’s happily married to Tye Strickland, in fact – but to co-host Bachelor Pad , ABC’s new spin-off featuring past contestants. We kid not, this is a real show . Joining Melissa Rycroft for co-MC’ing duties will be a man who needs no introduction, venerable Bachelor and Bachelorette host-pimp Chris Harrison. “I’m excited.” Rycroft says. “It’s fun. It’s a brand new experience for me. I’ve never been on that side but I’m anxious. I’m excited and ready to start.” The gorgeous Melissa Rycroft made the finals of Dancing with the Stars and has been a correspondent for Good Morning America since her Bachelor appearance. The show, which has already started filming , will feature an all-star reunion of “some of the most unforgettable contestants and suitors,” says ABC. Two words, ABC: Wes. Hayden. Make it happen. The gang will live together in the mansion as they compete in a series of challenges and dates for a chance at winning $250,000 and perhaps more. Could another shot at love await any of these hotties? ABC couldn’t care less, as long as it has a Bachelor franchise installment for every season now. Works for us! We heart Melissa!
