While she might have come full-circle creatively, in the new issue of Us Weekly, the pop superstar admits she’s not the girl she used to be. “I’m at such a different point in my life now than I was back then,” she said of recording Femme Fatale, which shot to the top of the charts in its first week. “I’m more mature and much more hands-on now. I know exactly what I like and what I don’t like. I guess that can make the recording process pretty difficult, because I’m very particular about songs I put my voice on.” That perspective comes from years in the spotlight, as well as the responsibility of being a mom to her two sons, Jayden and Sean. “You have to think about all your decisions so much more carefully, because they are affecting your kids too,” she said. “My priorities have changed, and I do everything for [the boys]. They remind me what life is really all about. “They are my biggest fans. I make up songs and sing to them all the time,” she continued. “They like to watch me dance. In fact, they join in and do their own moves!” While her opening act is still in flux, Spears does know that both Jayden and Sean will be hitting the road with her for her Till the World Ends Tour . “They will be coming with me. I couldn’t go on tour without them!” she said. “I’m always very busy when I’m on the road, but I make sure to have quality time with them every single day.” Another one of her big fans is boyfriend Jason Trawick, whom she says complements her perfectly. “We have such a great time together! He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves. We like to stay home, order in, watch movies, go to dinner with friends. And we love getting away for the weekend. In what you could call an open secret of a show – she acknowledged it was in the works but with little official PR – Britney Spears rocked the Palms Casino Resort’s Rain Nightclub in Las Vegas Friday, performing three tracks from Femme Fatale. Britney Spears will tour this summer to support her new album Femme Fatale, the singer confirmed today in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. “Yes, I’m supposed to be going on tour, early summer U.S.,” Spears said on his KIIS-FM radio show. Her first live show to support the album? A special concert for Good Morning America on March 29, the same day Femme Fatale drops. Mark that on your sexy lip-synching calendar! The tour announcement shows that Spears is bouncing back both personally and professionally after a nearly two-year hiatus from the spotlight. Her 2009 album release and Circus tour themselves followed a dark period for Spears, following the demise of her marriage and sanity in 2006. It’s all good nowadays, though. In the wake of reports about Jason Trawick’s alleged abuse of Britney Spears , the star and her camp are doing all they can to paint a picture of happiness. Right after the scandal broke, Trawick whisked her off to a private, $5,000 a night villa in Conchas Chinas, Mexico, to mark her 29th birthday last week. The duo denies and shrugs off the abuse rumor, with her telling Us , “My birthday weekend away with Jason was amazing. Best birthday of my life!” Are Britney Spears and Jason Trawick really happy? Are we getting the whole truth about what happened between the lovebirds? [Photo: Pacific Coast News] There have been several theories, ranging from the star’s camp planting the rumor to generate buzz for her new album to Team Spears laboring to cover it up. Some think the Mexican getaway was merely a publicity stunt designed to make the troubled couple appear happy. In truth, some say the superstar is trapped. “Britney is a cash cow,” an insider says . “Her parents and management are trying to keep the scandal under wraps so it doesn’t affect her career – or the paychecks.” What we don’t understand is why, even if Britney Spears supposedly called Jason Alexander to vent about the abuse by Trawick, he would record the call. Was he looking to sell her out for money? And did he edit it himself? Why did experts conclude the tape was doctored ? Did Star know it was doctored? If abuse did take place, we can understand why Brit would not want it to go public, but why stay with Jason and go through this charade afterward? The whole thing is very suspicious. He’s already been Passenger 57. But, soon, Wesley Snipes will getting another number, of the inmate variety. The action star, who tried his hardest to avoid a prison sentence on tax evasion charges, has been ordered to begin serving his three-year stint at a federal prison in Pennsylvania on December 9. All attempts by Snipes and his attorneys to overturn his 2008 conviction failed, as prosecutors allege the actor did not pay any taxes on the reported $38 million he earned from 1999 on. “The Defendant Snipes had a fair trial… The time has come for the judgment to be enforced,” wrote U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges. Indeed, for Snipes, it’s time to get off the Money Train.
