Britney Spears thinks having her fiance, Jason Trawick, as her co-conservator is a total buzzkill for their relationship and wants him gone ASAP, reports say. In that role, he is in charge of her finances and other decisions; the singer has been under the legal conservatorship since melting down in early 2008. “Britney wants Jason removed. He was appointed to the position when she joined The X Factor so that he could be with her at all times while on set,” a source says. “The relationship has been more than slightly rocky in the past few months and Brit attributes that to having her man essentially being one of her babysitters.” “It has killed the romance in the relationship, and she wants to get it back.” Britney split rumors have run rampant in recent months, and this is a big reason why. The legal and business aspect of their relationship has taken over. “Jason is co-conservator of Spears as a person, meaning he controls who she sees, where she goes, etc. Her father has had that role since day one.” “She thinks it should be [Jamie Spears] and only him, and not Jason anymore. Jason is in full agreement and supports her decision,” the insider added. Is a breakup imminent ? That’s unclear, but things have been rocky. “Britney and Jason had planned to get married at the end of December, but they have been fighting non-stop, so the wedding has now been called off.” Things have become so strained between the couple that they were forced to cancel their planned wedding as they struggle to work through their issues. “They are telling their friends it’s being postponed, but they will probably never make it down the aisle. Jason Trawick and Britney Spears have hit a rough patch, according to reports. According to Us Weekly, the singer and X Factor judge’s ” constant demands ” that her fiance “check in with her” have him fuming and are a main cause of strife. He supposedly “puts her on speakerphone so friends can hear her nagging.” Also, “The romance is gone” for the couple, says the insider. A rep for Spears denies this, while another insider insists that everything is fine, and Jason Trawick wouldn’t pull something like that even if if wasn’t. “That’s not Jason’s style. They’re happy,” said the source. Nevertheless, Us’ celebrity gossip mole insists there’s turbulence ahead for the two, who got engaged last December, saying, “I’d be shocked if they got married.” Jason proposed on Britney’s 30th birthday almost a year ago, but the two have yet to set a date.
