It's been almost a month since David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after launching a homophobic rant on Instagram. The vile incident was spurred by a photo of Jenelle Evans shooting a gun that Eason posted just hours after the Parkland, Florida school shooting. Fans implored him to take the photo down out of respect to the victims' families. Eason refused, and all hell broke loose. One would think that Jenelle would have learned a valuable lesson from her husband's firing, but weeks later, the Carolina Hurricane is still using her newfound love of firearms to troll fans: 1. The Offending Photo Eason posted this image as a Valentine’s Day tribute to his wife. Unfortunately, it appeared online just hours after the Parkland, Florida school shooting that claimed 17 lives. 2. Combative Dave Fans begged Dave to take the photo down, but he refused. And then he went on the offensive in truly disgusting fashion… 3. Your Bigotry Is Showing… David proceeded to hurl homophobic insults at the Twitter users who suggested he delete the post. For obvious reasons, this illicited an uproar from fans, as well as from several other stars of the Teen Mom franchise. MTV responded swiftly… 4. The Changing of the Easons David was fired by producers, and MTV released a statement informing viewers that he would no longer appear on any of its new programming. 5. Jenelle Tries to Make It Right Jenelle issued a public apology in which she lamely claimed that David “doesn’t understand Twitter” and can’t be homophobic because he once attended a party at which they were also gay people in attendance. Needless to say, no one was moved to sympathy for Eason. 6. Evans on the Offensive When her apology failed, Jenelle tried a different approach. Jenelle Evans is at it again. You may have thought that after a string of scandals that got her husband, David Eason, fired from Teen Mom 2 , Jenelle would simply lie low for a few days. But she didn’t earn the nickname the Carolina Hurricane by behaving reasonably and maintaining a level head. That’s a photo of Jenelle’s son Kaiser holding a toy gun. It’s one of several such photos that she posted to Instagram today. You may be wondering what the big deal is – after all, young boys play with toy guns all the time, right? And it’s certainly true that in a different context, these images likely would have gone unnoticed. But as it happens, Jenelle is at the center of a controversy involving guns and social media, and her latest posts are being interpreted by fans as a response to the criticism against her. As you may recall, Jenelle’s latest troubles began when Eason posted a photo of her shooting a gun on Valentine’s Day. Again, timing was everything, as the photo was posted just hours after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 dead. Jenelle and David were heavily criticized and rather than delete the post as so many suggested, Eason hurled homophobic slurs at his followers. Within hours, he was let go by MTV. There have been rumors that Jenelle would be fired next, and it seems she’s intent on doing everything in her power to make that happen. The photos are being viewed not only as a defiant middle finger to Teen Mom 2 fans, but also as a crude taunt directed at Kaiser’s father, Nathan Griffith. Griffith has gone on record as disapproving of Jenelle’s recent insensitive posts, and those who know her best say this is Jenelle’s way of firing back. “He does not support that,” a source close to Griffith tells Radar Online. “That is something they should discuss with him first.” The source adds: “Nathan doesn’t even allow Kaiser to watch cartoons with guns. The most dysfunctional relationship in the history of Hollywood has finally come to an end. No, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have not gone their separate ways. Not yet, at least. But it sounds very much as if Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly are at last on the verge of doing so. We know this for one very simple and very straightforward reason: Both Peter and Amina posted the actual divorce papers on Instagram, with the latter taking this action first and thereby implying that she is the one who filed. “Ready, set, go…” wrote Buddafly as a caption, with Peter adding for his part: “The end…” Here is a look at the papers in question: Gunz followed up on this message by posting a photo of himself and his soon-to-be-ex-wife and making it clear that their split is amicable. “Our divorce is not ugly.. No lawyers no judges no Mediators!! Just us.. I love @aminabuddafly and the Beautiful Queens she gave me,” he wrote, concluding as follows: “Divorce in our case is not a bad thing it’s best and won’t change the support and love for her my kids and her music.. no comments necessary.” As those who watch Love & Hip Hop online (or on television) know quite well, Gunz and Buddafly have a pretty amazing history. We mean this is the most depressing/disturbing/hilarious/contentious/scandal sense of the word. Gunz and Buddafly (not their real names… we assume) got together while Peter was with Tara Wallace, the mother of a few of his kids. He basically kept having sex with both Amina and Tara over the years, more or less out in the open even. In August of 2016, the couple welcomed their second child into the world, a girl named Bronx. She was born not long after Gunz and Wallace also had a kid together, with Bronx marking Peter’s 10th child overall. That is not a misprint. Peeter Gunz is the father of 10 kids. And neither Buddafly nor Wallace seemed to really care that their baby daddy was also someone else’s simultaneous baby daddy. Wrote Buddafly to all the haters two years ago, while carrying one of Peter’s two fetuses at the time: “I Got pregnant again because I made love to the man I love… Now y’all can debate on why we did it until ya hair turns grey… “@petergunz174 I love you 4ever and I will never be scared to show or say it because of people.” Well, not so much 4ever , we guess. Little People, Big World fans seem to love giving Amy Roloff a hard time, whether it’s accusing her of “exploiting” her son Jacob or asking if she banned her ex Matt Roloff from family gatherings . But every hater’s favorite topic seems to be her boyfriend, Chris Marek. They either thing that she’s betraying Matt by dating again or that she’s some love-blind fool under Chris’ sway. But Amy Roloff shared this sweet selfie, and it looks like some minds are finally changing about Amy’s “second act.” Amy Roloff provided a little context behind this sweet selfie with her caption: “Changing it up. Chris took the selfie.” [smiling emoji] We’d say that he did a pretty good job with that selfie. Amy continues: “Date night. Thai food and seeing a local play in downtown Hillsboro. Love it! #amyssecondactcontinues #datenightsaregreat #lovelocal” That sounds like such a nice evening! Amy Roloff received some really positive comments from fans. “Great couple thanks for sharing with us.” That one’s pretty run-of-the-mill, and Amy does get positive comments like it a lot. “I love Thai food! Sounds like a great evening, have fun!” Thai food is great. (In fact, Amy’s post reminded me to ask some friends if our dinner tonight should be Thai) Another fan defended Amy from the hate that she so often receives. “Great picture. You deserve to be happy in spite if all the rubbish haters post.” Most significantly, it seems that Amy’s happiness has won over one of her relationship’s detractors: “Amy, I always wanted you to get back together with Matt, but now that I see you with Chris, you look incredibly HAPPY. That is what is important!!!” Sadly, not everyone who follows Amy Roloff has seen the light about her relationship. “At least the kids seem to recognize wedding vows, even if their mother gave up. My own opinion. Not hating Amy, we have to live our own lives, but too bad the parents couldn’t hold it together.” Weird to read a message by someone who thinks that divorce is a genuine wrongdoing instead of an unpleasant fact of life for, you know, half of all marriages. “Goodness, I was really praying God would restore your marriage. I hate this.” They hate what? Amy’s happiness? “Look at his face….I’m sorry I don’t trust his face and we as women should watch out for each other and boost each other up. She’s too good for him! What’s so wrong w that????” And, finally: “Chris is a creep.” We have to talk about the fans who say that they’re “just looking out” for Amy, like she’s a college freshman dating her married professor and not a grown-ass adult and grandmother who knows what she’s doing. For a long time, we’ve had the sick feeling that some of Amy’s haters who can’t stand her relationship with Chris Marek are actually concerned about a little person dating someone who isn’t disabled. Maybe, even if it’s deep down on a subconscious level, these haters don’t believe that a man of Chris’ height could find a little person attractive. That’s … a horrifying way to view the world. One of the comments under the adorable selfie seems to confirm that tragic worldview: “You saying ‘she’s happy’ is an assumption and judgement all in one. I remain leery of men taking advantage of kind ppl like Amy.” And there you have it, folks. At least some of the people who love to give Amy a hard time are concern-trolling her because they infantalize her because she’s “kind” (so, probably because she’s a little person). While we were delighted to see that a fan had come to understand that Amy’s making choices for her own happiness, it’s clear that some others haven’t yet come to understand. And that probably won’t change until they stop seeing the Roloff family matriarch as a helpless child without any judgment and see her as a real woman with real feelings. It’s only been five months since Jenelle Evans and David Eason got married , but the tempestuous Teen Mom 2 stars have already seen more ups and downs than most couples experience in a lifetime together. Rumors of Jenelle and David getting divorced are everywhere on social media, and now it looks as though the newlyweds will be forced to contend with a new round of salacious reports. Over the weekend, Jenelle posted a bizarre video to Snapchat that has many fans convinced that she and Eason are using drugs. The clip showed Evans and Eason giggling, giving the middle finger to the camera and repeatedly slurring the name of rapper Cardi B, all while boarding an airplane. At no point are Evans and Eason seen ingesting any substances, but some TM2 fans who watched the clip believe it serves as solid evidence that they were intoxicated in public. “Uh, yeah, they are definitely on something,” wrote one fan. “Both of them are high,” a second commenter confirmed. This isn’t the first time that rumors of Jenelle and David using drugs have made their way across the internet. In November of 2017, an insider who claimed to be close to Jenelle revealed that her friends and family are deeply concerned about her substance abuse” “We’re all very concerned. Very concerned for Jenelle,” the source told Radar Online at the time. “We all think that there is still weed involved. We know that for a fact. That’s a constant in her life.” The video could prove to have damaging consequences for Jenelle, who’s currently locked in a bitter custody battle with Nathan Griffith, her former fiancé and the father of her youngest son, Kaiser. Griffith’s mother accused Jenelle of being on drugs in court testimony, and it seems likely that his attorneys will use the Snapchat clip as evidence to support that claim. Evans has yet to respond to the allegations that she’s using again. She’s spoken openly about her history of hard drug use–including the period of time in which she was addicted to heroin–but she insists those days are long behind her. “I won’t glamorize the drug by going into the long details of why people love it so damned much,” she wrote in her 2017 memoir. “Before I knew it, I was shooting up four or five times a day. Jenelle Evans sure can pick ’em. While fans wonder if Jenelle Evans and David Eason had a secret breakup , one of Jenelle’s exes with a troubled legal history has gotten remarried. Hint: it’s the ex who referred to Jenelle as a “hurricane.” And Courtland Rogers’ new wife is pregnant. What advice, we wonder, would Jenelle give Lindsey Frazier? Jenelle Evans is … well, she’s not many people’s favorite Teen Mom star. Jenelle’s custody battle with Nathan Griffith goes further than just nasty Twitter squabbles . Both have accused the other of abusing their son, Kaiser. No matter who’s right, that poor boy deserves better. In fact, accusations of abuse seem intensely common around Jenelle. Her current husband, David Eason, being only the latest. It’s difficult to think of adults in Jenelle’s story who haven’t faced accusations of these serious and unforgivable offenses, either against children or partners or both. One of those alleged abusers is none other than Courtland Rogers. And he has the criminal record to show for it. In 2013, Courtland was faced with three different arrest warrants. The first states: “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jenelle Rogers, a female person, by grabbing her by her hair and slamming her against the wall.” She was pregnant, folks. “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did commit a battery on a pregnant woman named Jenelle Rogers.” There were other accusations, including a warrant that mentioned that he had allegedly slammed her head against the floor in an effort to take her keys. Jenelle Evans also wrote about Courtland’s alleged abuse in her memoir, writing: “Courtland slapped me around a few times, then started punching me in the gut.” It was then, she says, that she started to miscarry. “My mother rushed me to the emergency room, where they explained to me that I had suffered a miscarriage due to my recent altercation with Courtland.” It should come as no surprise to anyone that Courtland has denied having ever hit Jenelle. And now, Courtland Rogers has married his pregnant girlfriend, Lindsey Frazier. This isn’t a secret — Lindsey posted the marriage certificate on social media. And she got some celebratory congratulations in response: “Congrats! Court needed and finally got a WOMAN with a good head on her shoulders! Wishing you 3 the very best and a loooong happy marriage.” Another wrote: “Congratulations to you both! It’s great to see Courtland happy and in a good place after all he’s been through.” Still, some who are familiar with Courtland’s history of domestic violence accusations can’t help but worry about a woman putting herself in Courtland’s hands. One can certainly understandy why. Considering that Jenelle Evans says that Courtland beat her so badly that she miscarried, some worry that Lindsey’s putting herself in danger but also her future child. Others point out that Jenelle has many problems, including a history of drug abuse and her own accusations of abuse, and that her accusations can’t be taken at face value. Moments that made you cringe because they were so painful, or smile ear-to-ear. Scenes that were fights, or made you fight back tears. The past 12 months really had it all, and as such, were likely the most entertaining in the history of this long-running reality TV franchise. Below, we look back at some of the MTV gang's most explosive feuds of 2017, and however you might rank them, this much is undeniable: There were no shortage of them. Briana DeJesus vs. Leah Messer (and Others) When Briana DeJesus joined the Teen Mom 2 cast earlier this year, she was not welcomed with open arms. In fact, she quickly became persona non grata at her first get-together with the cast – with one exception. Jenelle Evans, Briana said, “is the only one who was acting like her s–t ain’t stink. Plus she was the only one who wasn’t acting fake and choosing sides.” Leah Messer’s response was to “pay no attention to those who try to bring you down … they’re just envious of where you are and how well you’re doing.” 24. Maci Bookout vs. Taylor McKinney Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney’s relationship has produced three kids, and they seem very happily married … most of the time. Like, 85 percent of the time. Bookout alarmed fans with this confession earlier in the year that revealed some trouble in paradise: “Eighty-five percent of the time we’re good to go … Fifteen percent is hell. All of our stress and emotions, we take out on each other. When the cameras leave, we’ll drink and freak out. It’s always literally the smallest things. It’s such small stuff but it blows up. It’s not going to go away.” Yikes. 23. Matt Baier vs. Amber Portwood … The Eruption Things neared a boiling point between Amber Portwood and Matt Baier after he vowed that would never marry her … because she wouldn’t marry him on the spot in Las Vegas, obviously. “I will not marry her,” he said. “I will not marry her now, ever! I’m not gonna let her [brother] dictate my life. That f—king f—got. She wants to marry her brother. That’s who she wants to marry. F—k her. She just humiliated me on TV. I’m done!” Matt, who was livid at Amber’s reasoning for not eloping in Vegas – her brother Shawn not being present – went on to tell a producer, “I don’t care who you have to give oral pleasure to, keep the Amber and Matt wedding thing off [the air]. She just embarrassed me in front of 12 million people.” We’re pretty sure you did that to yourself, Matt … 22. Jeremy Calvert vs. Brooke Wehr Brooke Wehr was never a Teen Mom 2 cast member, but due to her mercurial relationship with Jeremy Calvert, her impact was felt just the same. Earlier this year, the couple’s engagement ended after Brooke accused Jeremy of cheating on her with multiple women, one being a Teen Mom 2 producer, another being her best friend, and a third possibly being his ex-wife Leah Messer. Oh yes. Brooke even shared a screen shot of a text message conversation between Jeremy and the best friend as proof, while Calvert responded in a drunken stupor that yes, maybe he did sleep with Brooke’s best friend, but … only because Wehr slept with some other guy first. Or, as he put it, Brooke was “f-cking his brains out, every day,” and he was single, so “my dick was happy to do whatever the f-ck it wanted to do, and it did.” Shocking that these two didn’t work out. 21. Jenelle Evans vs. David Eason Lately, it’s been Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason against the world, but at times this year, they were at each other’s throats as well. Arguments between the two were commonplace throughout the most recent season of Teen Mom 2, and one particularly heated argument resulted in them calling off their wedding … the night before the wedding. (They ultimately got married as planned.) Bad tempers are one thing, but the most troubling aspect is that David has been accused of mistreating/abusing Jenelle’s son Kaiser because he reminds him of Kaiser’s dad, Nathan Griffith. He also doesn’t get along with her mom, at all, further driving a wedge between the Evans women. 20. Chelsea Houska vs. Adam Lind Perhaps the longest-running feud of the franchise, Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind face off mostly through their lawyers these days, because the derelict of society can’t stay out of trouble or pay child support. He was recently arrested for domestic violence against his current fiancee, leaving his ability to parent Chelsea’s daughter Aubree or his other daughter Paislee (with Taylor Halbur) seriously in doubt. Christmas Morning With the Easons Jenelle Evans celebrated Christmas with her kids, step kids, and husband, David Eason. The couple has been the subject of rampant divorce rumors in recent weeks. 2. David and Kaiser Jenelle’s embattled husband seemed to be in the holiday spirit. Photos posted by Jenelle show him playing with Kaiser, her son from a previous relationship. 3. Jace Scores Big Even Jenelle’s oldest son Jace was on hand for what looked to be a very merry Christmas. Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, still has primary custody of the boy. 4. What’s Really Going On Here? Jenelle’s sunny depiction of her holiday is being seriously side-eyed by many of her followers. Some people believe that Khloe Kardashian is cursed . And no, that’s not some horrible euphemism for Khloe’s pregnancy . It sounds silly enough to us, but it’s enough for fans of Tristan Thompson’s sports team to urge him to break it off with his soon-to-be baby mama. Do you believe in the Kardashian Curse ? Khloe and Tristan have been an item for a while now. Khloe is, of course, a reality star. Tristan Thompson is a basketball player. (Basketball being the kind of sportsball where the players are tall and the ball is orange) Some fans have noted that Khloe is Earlier this year, someone — apparently a Cleveland Cavaliers fan — tweeted their response to an article that suggested that Khloe and Tristan might wed, writing: “Nah fam @khloekardashian we good on yalls curse.” Khloe saw the tweet and decided to clap back: “Only stupid people believe stupid rumors.” We wouldn’t really characterize a “curse” as a rumor. A superstition, perhaps? Or a misogynist way to place the blame for male failures at the feet of a woman. Khloe says that she’s not responsible. “Please don’t give me that much power.” Please do not give Khloe any kind of power, folks. And then Khloe got a little confrontational: “Lol fool that you are.” Random tweeters aren’t the only ones who seem to sincerely believe that Khloe Kardashian represents some malediction that effects Tristan’s entire basketball team. Also, this year, a sports fan created a petition for Tristan to end his relationship with Khloe. According to Sports Illustrated , the petition read: “It is almost that time of year again — where we prepare for our long trek back to the NBA Finals.” Our research tells us that there are some major basketball events during the spring, making us wonder if 2018 will see a similar petition to this one. “However, this year as the defending champs, we’ve been in sort of a funk.” That happens to anyone, as individuals or as a group. All of that was perfectly rational, right up until: “And it all has to do with the Kardashian Curse.” The petition’s text continues: “One of our most beloved athletes, Tristan Thompson, has taken it upon himself to date Khloe Kardashian and by doing so, invited the curse into Cleveland.” That’s quite the claim. “The curse has been ruthless to the Cleveland Cavaliers.” Perhaps, their players haven’t been doing so well. Or opposing teams’ players have been doing very well. Or, you know, a curse . “The curse is nothing new however — it has plagued professional athletes such as James Harden, Lamar Odom, Kris Humphries, and now our beloved TT.” Doesn’t every team on the planet have their good days and bad days, though? We don’t see the Kardashians as wielding, um, supernatural power over athletic competitions. Which would be a weird power to have. “This is no coincidence. This is the Kardashian Curse in play. And it needs to end now.” Obviously, that petition was a little tongue-in-cheek. We hope. Even if you believe in curses — and we won’t tell you what to believe in that regard — surely there would have to be an actual reason for the curse. Like, if this were all based on the belief that Khloe stole a rock from a sacred mountain and now her lovers are cursed to professional failure, we’d be like “okay.” Not necessarily believing in that cause-and-effect, but we’d understand the story that the person was telling. Similarly, if somebody argued that Khloe or Tristan had been actively cursed by someone — maybe cursed by Azealia Banks , for example — we’d get it. Even so, we don’t buy that Khloe’s cursed. She’s rich and healthy and pregnant with her lover’s child. Besides, nobody who looks this good modeling fishnets while pregnant could be cursed, right?
