As you've likely heard by now, Jenelle Evans has lost custody of her kids following a shocking chain of events. It all started when Evans' husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog . This prompted a CPS investigation that revealed deplorable living conditions on the property that Jenelle and David have obnoxiously dubbed “The Land.” Now, the three children who were still under the care of Evans and Eason (the couple had already lost custody of two other kids) have been placed in safer environments pending further investigation. In an exclusive statement issued to The Hollywood Gossip , Jenelle vowed to get her kids back — but is that even possible? Sadly, yes. And here is how she could do it: 1. The Non-Mom Longtime Teen Mom 2 viewers were not exactly shocked when Jenelle lost custody, as well-documented reports of drug use, child neglect, violent outbursts, and other erratic behavior have been following Evans for years. 2. Domino Effect But despite all of the negative press and the many, many police reports against Jenelle, it wasn’t until David killed Jenelle’s French bulldog that local authorities really took action. 3. The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported moments ago that Jenelle and David will not be regaining custody of their children anytime soon. A source tells The Ashley that the children will remain in the care of their current guardians for the foreseeable future and will not be returned to the property the Easons have dubbed “The Land.” While it's the decision that the majority of Teen Mom 2 viewers seemed to be rooting for, it's still somewhat surprising, as family courts are generally very reluctant to deny custody rights to birth mothers. Here's a look at how it all transpired and what might happen next: 1. The Terrible Twosome Jenelle and David have been flouting the law and openly mistreating their children for years — and now it seems their bad behavior has finally caught up with them. 2. These past few weeks have pretty rough for Jenelle Evans. Her husband murdered her dog, CPS took all her kids away … it's been a wild, sad time down in North Carolina. Since last week, Jenelle's been in court, trying to get her children back, and today was supposed to be the big day — the day she'd find out whether or not Ensley, Kaiser, and Maryssa would be coming home. Ugh And not only did her dog get beaten and killed, but it happened at the hands of her very own husband, David Eason. 4. Oh No And if that wasn’t bad enough, it happened in front of Ensley, Kaiser, and Maryssa. 5. Surprise! For two, there was such an outrage over what happened to Nugget and how Jenelle so quickly forgave David that she was ultimately fired from Teen Mom 2. 6. Wendy Williams, a woman who has made a living by airing other people’s dirty laundry each morning in her Hot Topics segment, is now living every talk show host’s worst nightmare: The star’s very own personal life has become one of the hotter topics on the Internet. And all for very negative and quite unfortunate reasons. As previously reported, Wendy’s estranged husband and 18-year old son (Kevin Sr. and Kevin Jr., respectively) got into some kind of altercation just around 10 p.m. on Wednesday. According to TMZ, which broke this story, Kevin Sr. placed his son in a headlock and the son responded by hitting his dad in the face. Shortly after this news broke, Kevin Sr. released a statement that read as follows: “I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally. Things are not always how they appear.” Despite his father taking this stance, a spokeswoman for the Ethics County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey now reports that Kevin Jr. has been arrested. Per this unnamed indivudla, Kevin Hunter Jr. was charged with simple assault last night. He was processed and released by West Orange Police Department the same evening and was not taken to county jail. Based on the original article about this subject, Kevin Jr. was dropped off at the family home yesterday, unaware his dad was in the house. But the two got along well enough at the time to head out to a nearby store — and this is where things took an ugly turn. Kevin Sr. allegedly urged his son to forge his own path and get out from underneath his mother’s famous shadow, while Kevin Jr. may have responded by calling out his dad as a hypocrite because Kevin Sr. is seeking alimony from Wendy. A lot of alimony, actually . Insiders say that Kevin Sr. put his son in the aforementioned headlock to try and calm him down, only for Kevin Jr. to respond with the fateful punch that led to his arrest. Williams has not yet spoken on this incident. But she filed for divorce from Kevin Sr. in April after news that he fathered a child with his mistress spread like some sort of wildfire around the Internet. Rumors of Kevin Sr.’s infidelity has been a not-very-well-kept-secret for years, but Williams had been able to ignore it (in public, at least) until this baby news made that impossible. She allegedly relapsed and got so drunk the day the child was born that she had to be taken to the hospital. Hunter eventually broke his silence on the split in a statement, addressing the cheating scandal and admitting he was “not proud of my recent actions.” Williams has also fired Kevin Sr. as a producer on her successful talk show. And she actually talked about both the divorce and her teenage son on a recent episode. Looks like it's another disastrous day in court for Jenelle Evans and David Eason. The couple arrived for day five of their custody battle Wednesday afternoon, and things got tense before they even entered the courthouse. And just like last week, David's infamous temper got the best of him at an inopportune time. It's been almost two weeks since CPS removed Jenelle and David's kids from their home, and thus far, the couple's efforts to convince a judge that they're capable and competent parents have proven woefully inadequate. In fact, it often seems that the Easons are digging themselves a deeper hole with each new day in court. Take a look at the latest developments: 1. A Deteriorating Situation Including Wednesday’s appearance, the Easons have now gone to court five times in an effort to regain custody of their children. 2. Bad Times on The Land Between them, Jenelle and David have five children, three of whom were living with them until May 13, when 2-year-old Ensley, 4-year-old Kaiser, and 11-year-old Maryssa were all removed from the home by CPS. 3. An Uphill Battle The Easons have been fighting hard to regain custody of their kids, but thus far, their efforts have been unsuccessful. 4. Going Downhill In fact, it sometimes seems they’re making their situation worse with each new hearing. 5. David Being David Today, for example, David got into a verbal altercation with a photographer outside the courthouse and threatened to have the man arrested. 6. Call Us Crazy … We’re gonna go out on a limb and guess that the photographer — who appears to have been working for TMZ, at least on a freelance basis — has a better understanding of the law in these cases than David. Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans all about that handbook, because she definitely pulled a page out of it on Monday after being confronted by Teen Mom 2 co-host Nessa Diab on her anti-Kaepernick, pro-Trump social media post. Nessa, who usually stays out of the casts drama, decided to call out the reality star on her blatant hypocrisy. During the season, Jenelle got pissed at co-star Amber who made accusatory comments on social media about her husband David — but Jenelle turned around and did the same thing to Nessa about her boyfriend, Colin Kaepernick . Nessa stayed true to her calm, chill nature — but clearly, Jenelle didn’t want the smoke. The HOT 97 host stated: “When I saw those comments, I did not attack you online, nor did I disrespect you over the years. My man uses his platform to peacefully protest police brutality against black people…that is the issue…I would’ve appreciated it if you contacted me.” An emotional Jenelle responded: “I honestly have no idea who your boyfriend is…I would like to see [the comments] because what if it was an ad…was it an ad? I’m highly confused right now. I don’t know anything about your husband, and I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about. I swear to god, I’m done with this bullsh*t. This is exactly why I didn’t want to f*cking come here. This is about my storyline, and you want to bring up your issues? Okay. You got your show.” After the Teen Mom stormed off the stage, Nessa continued on, explaining to Dr. Drew and the audience why she brought up the situation during the show. “I’ve known Jenelle over the years, and I’ve always been fair and just to her.
