Jenelle Evans is a goner. Mere days after the controversial reality star's husband murdered her family's dog, Nugget, Teen Mom 2 producers followed through on what had been rumored all week: They gave Evans the proverbial pink slip. She will soon join David Eason on the unemployment line. How did it come to this? And what did MTV say in its statement? Scroll down to find out! 1. It Had to Come to This, Right? Evans was being featured less and less often on the current season of Teen Mom 2 because her husband had been fired from the show. 2. Wait, Huh? With cameras refusing to shoot any scene that included Eason, this lessened Jenelle’s role to a tremendous degree. 3. She Tried to Make Herself Relevant Again According to a recent report, Jenelle had tried to spice up her storyline and film alongside Briana DeJesus , but producers shot down this idea. 4. So, Yes, Evans Saw the Writing on the Wall And this was BEFORE Eason beat little Nugget bloody and then shot the dog dead. 5. This Really Did Happen Eason has admitted to killing the canine because he claimed it attacked his daughter, Ensley. 6. This is What Jenelle Wrote in Response: Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. View Slideshow
Last night, Adam Sandler hosted Saturday Night Live. It was super fun, honestly — to welcome him back after all this time, things were less political and more ridiculous. You know, like Adam himself. He revived some classic characters from his old SNL days , and he even sang some songs. And one of those songs … to put it simply, you're not ready for it. See, Adam has this song he wrote for the late, great Chris Farley, who tragically passed away from an overdose in 1997. You may have heard it before if you've seen one of his recent comedy shows or his new special on Netflix, but for a lot of people, this is their first time hearing the song. If you're one of those people, go ahead and grab some tissues. A good deal of the song is pretty funny, which is appropriate, since this is Adam Sandler singing a song on Saturday Night Life, after all. He recalls some of Farley's most popular characters — yes, there's a reference to living in a van down by the river — and he shares some happy memories of his friend. Throughout the performance, there's a screen next to him that shows photos and videos from back in the day, and even just silent footage of Chris' old SNL scenes gets the audience laughing. But there are definitely some darker parts, like when Adam sings “We'd tell him 'Slow down, you'll end up like Belushi and Candy,' he said 'Those guys are my heroes, that's all fine and dandy.'” And it gets downright heartbreaking when he recounts the last time he saw him and how just a few months later, he was burying his friend and watching his father cry at his funeral. That's the part where Adam gets choked up, which makes everything even more upsetting. In the last part of the song, he sings about life after Chris' death, how he shows his kids clips from his old movies and tells them that he's the funniest person he ever knew. It's all just really, really sad. Watching the touching performance in its entirety in the video below:
It's been a bad week for Jenelle Evans. Well, a bad week, a bad year, a bad lifetime … But you know what we're getting at here. On April 29th, David Eason killed her dog, Nugget, by beating it then shooting it with a shotgun. And after that, everything pretty much fell apart. It's probably safe to say that if Jenelle lost her job on Teen Mom 2, things would somehow get even worse for her. But, well, here we are. 1. What a Week It’s been almost a week now since David killed Jenelle’s dog, so let’s go ahead and do a quick little timeline, OK? 2. So Wrong On Monday, we know that David shot Jenelle’s French bulldog puppy, Nugget, and he claimed he did it because it bit Ensley. 3. Oh No Jenelle herself admitted that “hit” the dog before chasing it into the woods and shooting it with a shotgun, but reliable sources have alleged that he beat the dog so badly that when he came back in the house, he was “covered in blood.” 4. Understandable Jenelle has been devastated about losing her dog, and she left home to go stay with her longtime friend Jamie Wilshire in Kentucky. 5. Yes Please She’s been so upset that she’s made several statements about how divorce is a possibility. 6. Sick Unfortunately, it seems like she’s already back home with David, just like nothing ever happened. View Slideshow
Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer may or may not be dating. Yes, there are actual rumors than these Teen Mom co-stars are a romantic pairing at the moment. But while that chatter seems a little far-fetched, the following we know to be true: Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer are absolutely aghast and appalled over what is going on with David Eason and Jenelle Evans. Granted, there’s always drama between this married couple — but the events of the past few days take the heinous and disgusting cake, that’s for certain. In case you’ve somehow missed it, Eason shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, this past Saturday….after first beating the canine bloody with his bare hands . The polarizing former MTV personality confessed himself to this dastardly deed, saying on Instagram that Nugget snapped at his young daughter and he would do anything to protect his family and he has no regrets. The story is as shocking as we’re making it sound and you can familiarize yourself with a few details below: View Slideshow: David Eason: Damn Right I Killed My Dog! And I’d Do It Again! According to Hollywood Life, Lowry and Messer barely even know how to react to this development. Considering the literal blood on Eason’s hands, however, as well as Jenelle’s refusal to leave her husband (she claims she’s pondering a divorce , but does anyone believe her), Kailyn and Leah would love for MTV to stop associating with this dangerous couple. For good. “The other stars of Teen Mom, especially Kailyn and Leah, are horrified by what happened to Nugget,” an insider claims, adding to the aforementioned website: “They’re all embarrassed and saddened that this tragedy is even being associated with their beloved franchise. “The cast collectively wishes Jenelle left the show when David did last year, she is not popular with anyone on the show.” Eason was fired by producers over a year ago due to the many homophobic remarks he made on social media. This has been a point of contention in his relationship with Evans because cameras won’t film her any time Eason is around, making it difficult for her to get as much air time as before. Viewers are reportedly clamoring for Evans to also be fired at this point — and Messer and Lowry appear glad to show her the door. “As long as [Jenelle] is still around, [the] cast fears David could resurface,” Hollywood Life writes, expounding as follows: “They’ve been fearful for a while now that he will show up as they feel like he’s a loose canon and they don’t know what to expect from him. “After this latest ugly event, they’ve all made it very clear that they don’t want anything to do with David ever, period.” Eason and Lowry have gone back and forth for months, of course. Most recently, David trashed Kailyn as fat and she clapped back in epic fashion . So there’s a history here, absolutely. But one doesn’t need to have a troubling past with Eason to think he’s a violent maniac who should not be anywhere near a television screen, even just by association. “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh-t at all,” he wrote in a post defending his actions this week. “i’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.” This would come across as less psychotic if Eason had been reacting to an emergent situation because Nugget was in the process of attacking little Ensley. However, Eason’s own video makes it clear no such thing happened — and there’s no reason why he couldn’t have simply decided to give the dog away to a shelter if he felt it was a danger to his child. David Eason: Watch My Dog Attack My Kid and Sign Its Own Death Warrant! You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively,” Eason added. “The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME. Eason is currently under criminal investigation for animal cruelty after officers visited his home on Thursday, yet didn’t feel safe walking on to a property with “No Trespassing signs” and a pit bull out front. They have asked the Sheriff’s Department to figure out the next move. Elsewhere, TMZ reports that Eason is also behind on child support payments to ex-girlfriend Olivia Leedham and that he could end up in jail as a result of this financial failure. What a downright shame that would be, right? View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans: Do Teen Mom Fans Finally Hate Her More than Farrah Abraham?!
Jenelle Evans' husband David Eason released this video on Instagram. It features his dog snapping at his daughter. This is why the controversial Teen Mom 2 star says he was justified in subsequently shooting his family pet to death. Poor Nugget was gunned down shortly after. Eason says it snapped at his daughter and he had no choice put to murder the pup – and he's not worry about it, TBH. He would do it again, he defiantly says. Obviously, this became quite the story after a 911 call was placed from the Land in North Carolina where they reside. Some fans are begging Jenelle to leave David for good; Eason is unlikely to face charges unless she presses them. Sadly for those who fear for Jenelle and her family, she has a history of sweeping this kind of thing under the rug. Check out the footage for yourself.
David Eason is in trouble with the law and, it very strongly seem, is also in trouble with Jenelle Evans. Neither of these statements ought to come as a shock, we know. But the reason why David Eason is in trouble with both of these parties may be at least a tad surprising, even to those who constantly expect the worst from this ex-Teen Mom star: He's been accused of trying to kill his wife's dog. We're not kidding or exaggerating. Do we have your attention now? Okay, good. Scroll down for all the totally insane details… 1. Let’s Just Delve Right In, Shall We? By now, you must know the history of Eason and Evans and their romance, right? 2. They’re Up, They’re Down, They’re Assaulting One Another Well, Eason is assaulting Jenelle at least. He was accused of doing so in October of 2018. 3. So, Really, We Shouldn’t Be Surprised by Any Kind of Violence by Him No, we shouldn’t. And yet… this new report took us aback. Like, WAY aback. 4. David Eason Shoots Stuff According to a Radar Online report, a man called the Columbus County Sheriff’s department on Tuesday, April 30. This man has not yet been identified. 5. The Source Here Seems Reliable “A call was made today, and it was relayed that the woman’s husband had killed her dog,” the Sheriff’s Department told Radar. “The Sheriff is out there right now investigating and there will be an incident report filed later.” 6. Did Evans Make the Call? No. Radar simply insists that it was placed by a “male.” This is all we know at the moment. View Slideshow
The ovaries are an important part of the female reproductive system. Their job is what got Jenelle Evans a job on the MTV hit show Teen Mom 2 . But now the 27-year-old is opening up about why one of her ovaries was recently removed while she underwent a surgical procedure to tie her tubes. The reality star answered fan questions via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and told one of her followers why she “only [got] one tube tied.” She explained, “When she tied the other my doc thought the blood supply might be cut off in the long run then die so she took it out completely.” Evans’ rep told Us Weekly on Saturday, April 13 that the TV personality was “healing” after getting surgery to have polyps and cysts removed and get her tubes tied . The North Carolina native later explained why she chose to go forward with the procedure. “I decided to get this procedure because I had a really bad problem of irregular bleeding, which led to ultrasounds then led to my OBGYN suggesting exploration surgery and tubes being tied,” she told the media outlet. “She told me my IUD made my lining very thin, which isn’t good. … I would have never known about any of this unless I had this procedure done.” “In the long run, it was the best decision for my health and gave me a lot of answers to many problems I was experiencing,” she said. One of her problems included her getting “very sick” while pregnant with her three children — Jace, 9, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2 — but she revealed that she is done having kids. “I am happy with the number of kids I have now,” she said in an interview with E! . The JE cosmetics founder’s husband David Eason, whom she married in September of 2017 , “was by her side” during her time in the hospital. Even though he couldn’t for the life of him understand what his wife was even having surgery on. After Jenelle’s procedure, David got her a surfboard as a get-well-soon gift to “get her back on her feet” — but when he shared the picture a fan asked if she had her tubes tied and he said um … no. Jenelle later cleared up her husband’s confusion and confirmed to her fans that she did indeed have her tubes tied. And even though we are once again shaking our heads at David Eason , he has reportedly been a good husband (gasps!) and has continued to take care of her throughout her recovery. “I’m still crippled, y’all,” the MTV star said via her Instagram Stories earlier on Wednesday. “I feel helpless.” We wish the mother of three a speedy recovery so she can get on out there and catch some waves with her (shudders) sweetheart. Now that we would actually tune in to see. Surfs up. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans Says She’s Done Having Kids; David Eason Says She’s Lying [UPDATED]
Abbie Burnett worked as a registered nurse when she met John David Duggar, the second-eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle. She had dedicated her professional life to helping those in need, pretty much as admirable an occupation as one can possess. One would think John David and his loved ones would admire Abbie. One would think that they’d applaud her career and encourage her to pursue it in whatever way she wanted. One would think they’d even push her to advance far in the industry in order to help as many people as possible. But anyone who thinks this clearly is not familiar with the Duggars. Earlier this year, we reported that the family was actually unhappy that Burnett continued to work . Licensed in Oklahoma, Abbie was in the process of transferring that nursing license to Arkansas so that she could continue to work in her new home state. Fast forward about two months, however, and Burnett no longer has a job. Despite having gone to school for many years to serve patients as a nurse, she has decided to quit, which has led many Counting On viewers to wonder… … was this really her decision? During a recent episode of Counting On , Abbie seemed hesitant about stop working – and she didn’t rule out going back to the nursing profession someday. “I just love taking care of people. But I left my job a couple of months ago so that I could plan for the wedding,” she explained, elaborating as follows: “I do hope to go back to nursing one day, especially so I can keep up my license and my skills.” Admirable, right? (If you ignore the part that anyone would actually leave a job just to plan a wedding, which is bat$hit insane.) Time will tell if Burnett really does join the professional ranks at some point soon, but we’d be surprised if she were in a hurry. It seems nearly impossible to believe that John David isn’t pressuring her to remain at home and just churn out his babies. This is really all women are good for in the eyes of the Duggar family. We can’t think of a single female within the clan that has a job, can you? But we can think of quite a few that recently gave birth or who are currently pregnant. (Congrats to Kendra and Joseph Duggar , by the way! And also Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald!) Indeed, while many Duggar fans may support these reality stars because they seem to value family and love and all the cliches that come along with it… let’s be real: Even the most ardent supporter must admit that the Duggars don’t exactly believe in female empowerment. View Slideshow: John David Duggar & Abbie Burnett: NO 1 CURR About Jim Bob’s Rules! And, look, we hope Abbie is happy after five months of marriage . We’re sure she’ll announce any minute now that she’s expecting and we’ll wish her all the best for a safe and relatively easy pregnancy/delivery. We just also hope she maintains a sense of autonomy while married. She’s still her own person and that person accomplished a great deal prior to meeting John David and exchanging vows. Never lose sight of who that person is, okay, Abbie? Stay strong. View Slideshow: John David Duggar: I Never Followed Courtship Rules Before Marriage, Bro!
In the social media era, reality TV producers are faced with some unique challenges. The biggest problem, of course, is that by the time an episode airs, the storylines are often old news thanks to the stars of the show airing their dirty laundry online. Fortunately, in some cases, the drama is so wild that viewers will tune in even though they already know what's gonna happen. Take, for example, Monday night's episode of Teen Mom 2, in which Barbara Evans threatened to kill Kailyn Lowry . Sure, fans watched it all unfold on Instagram Live back in January, but it was such a shocking moment that they reacted with shock all over again last night. Take a look: 1. It Begins The trouble started when Jenelle and Barbara decided to hop on Instagram Live during a girls’ trip. 2. Drama Queens “I’ve been kind of overwhelmed with all the drama in my life, so my mom wanted to take me out of town for the weekend,” Jenelle explained in a voice-over. 3. Better Luck Next Time! Needless to say, the little excursion only created even greater drama! 4. The Brittany Factor Briana DeJesus’ sister, Brittany, eventually joined the chat from afar. This seemingly prompted Babs to step up her drunken antics. 5. She Went There “We’ll all get lit and we’ll kill Kail,” an intoxicated Babs shouted at one point. 6. Too Little, Too Late Jenelle, who had also been drinking, quickly attempted to defuse the situation. View Slideshow
Things aren't looking so good for Jenelle Evans right now. And that's for many, many reasons. But today, let's focus on her custody battle with Nathan Griffith, OK? Because as it turns out, it's not going well for her. Like, it's going so not well that there's actually a real chance she could lose Kaiser … 1. Dude So Jenelle and Nathan’s issues go way, way back — pretty much all the way back to when they first met. 2. Poor Kaiser They were always awful together, and contrary to her belief, having Kaiser didn’t really help things. 3. Yikes They tried to make it work for a little while, and by “make it work” we mean that they accused each other of domestic violence before breaking up for good in August of 2015. 4. Moving Fast A month later, she started dating David Eason, and from what we saw on Teen Mom 2, he wasted no time in being mean to Kaiser. 5. Awww We all remember when he called the poor kid a “screaming little bitch” in that one episode, and things have only gotten worse since then. 6. What a Turn of Events In 2017, Nathan’s mom, Doris, filed for custody of Kaiser. In the documents she filed, she claimed that David was physically abusing Kaiser, and that the boy had told her as much. View Slideshow
