Doin’ the most Via NYPost Jennifer Lopez finally admits her diva ways and enormous entourage could have hurt her famous romances. The singer blamed the failure of her relationships with Ben Affleck and husband Marc Anthony partly on her omnipresent army of handlers and hair and makeup stylists. J.Lo, 45, opened up to Hoda Kotb about her book, “True Love,” at New York’s 92nd Street Y Thursday. When asked what might have gone wrong in past relationships, she responded, “There’s a lot of people in my life and that’s hard. There’s people in the house. There’s hair and makeup. It’s a lot, I think, for someone to deal with.” Jenny From the Block famously travels with a huge crew that includes her manager Benny Medina and a cadre of stylists and handlers, as well as her trainer, Tracy Anderson. Lopez also told Kotb about the pressure of fame, “Forget about all the outside stuff, being judged, being under scrutiny in the relationship . . . I guess that adds in . . . but I think they would say that [the entourage] was a big part of their discomfort, if there was any.” Yeah, we’re sure these guys left J.Lo because they didn’t dig the hairspray her stylist used… J.Lo described how her divorce from Anthony affected her 6-year-old kids, Max and Emme, who were then 3. “You don’t really say anything to a 3-year-old, because they don’t really understand anything is happening . . . I remember like maybe after Marc wasn’t in the house for about eight months, Max saying something because my dad came over,” she said. “It was so painful . . . I go, ‘That’s my daddy,’ and he goes, ‘My daddy left me.’ I said ‘No, baby, your daddy didn’t leave you. You know how my daddy goes home? Your daddy goes home, too.’ You’re just scrambling at that point. What can you say to a 3-year-old?” This may come as a surprise to some, Jennifer openly admits that she’s in therapy to resolve her issues “You have to work on yourself . . . It’s not talking to yourself in the bathroom, it’s finding out what’s really going on, digging down into the gooey, messy stuff . . . You have to face yourself sometimes, like OK, seriously, everything is not going perfect, what are you doing wrong? Guess she wasn’t worried about Diddy too much… Jennifer Lopez Opens Up On Split From Ben Affleck Just days after revealing emotional and verbal abuse at the hands of one of her many exes, Jennifer Lopez is delving deeper into her first major heartbreak that inadvertently led to her longest-running marriage . Via PageSix : Jennifer Lopez was heartbroken when her relationship with Ben Affleck ended in 2004 — but also quick to move on with her now ex-husband, Marc Anthony. In an interview with Marria Shriver airing Monday and Tuesday on “Today,” Lopez opened up about both relationships. “Right away when you broke up with Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony was there, like, two days later, and you were in,” recalled Shriver, referring to Lopez ending her relationship with Affleck in January and beginning her quick courtship with Anthony soon after. By June 2004 the singers were married. “Right, you’re absolutely right,” said the “American Idol” judge. “It was probably my first big heartbreak, and to have one of my best friends who I’d known for years who I actually love and did have chemistry with come into my life and say, ‘I’m here.’ What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you.” Lopez, who has a string of exes — including three ex-husbands — has said in recent months that she’s taking a break from men for a bit. “I’m open to love, but right now, I think it’s better to just be on my own for a minute and learn more about myself,” the 45-year-old told Shriver. In Lopez’s new memoir, “True Love,” out Nov. 4, she details the painful time in her life when she realized her marriage to Anthony was coming to an end. “My kids were only like three years old at the time and the whole thing was heartbreaking and it’s so funny how life is like that sometimes,” the singer told Meredith Vieira in an interview airing Monday. “You are having tremendous highs and at the same time you are going through, probably the worst moment of my life at that moment.” In her book, Lopez also writes about suffering from mental, emotional and verbal abuse in the past, but doesn’t specify which of her exes were abusive. “I’ve never gotten a black eye or a busted lip, but I’ve been in relationships where I have felt abused in way or another: mentally, emotionally, verbally,” she writes. “I know what it feels like for your soul to be diminished by the way your loved one is treating you.” She’s just airing out ALL her personal business, huh?
