Gia Giudice Turns 14, Remains Depressed About Teresa Giudice Prison Sentence

Gia Giudice turns 14 years old today, but she almost certainly won’t be enjoying a very happy birthday. Teresa Giudice reported to prison on Monday after a premature celebration with her oldest daughter. She has had reportedly had minimal contact with her family in the days since. “Gia is incredibly sad about not spending time with her mom on her birthday, but, like Teresa she is very strong,” a source close to the family tells Radar Online.  “She is going to put on her best face and enjoy her celebration – and she knows that her mom loves her no matter where she is.” A miniscule silver lining to Gia’s dark cloud became visible today when it was revealed that Teresa would receive an early release from prison, and will serve only 13 of the 15 months to which she was sentenced. It’s not much – and to a 14-year-old girl, 13 months can feel like a very long time – but it’s the first good news that Giudice family has received in quite some time. To make matters worse, yesterday marked the birthday of Gia’s grandfather. Teresa Giudice Prison Details Revealed: What Was Her Last Pre-Slammer Meal, and Why Might Joe Giudice NOT Be Allowed to Visit?!

Early this morning, Teresa Giudice reported to prison to begin her 15 months as a resident of Danbury Correctional Institution in Connecticut. We already know that Teresa will be “targeted” by other inmates as a result of her fame, but now we’re beginning to receive more details about the disgraced reality star’s final hours as a free woman, as well as what her life will be like behind bars. Around 2 am Monday morning (just over an hour before she turned herself in to authorities), Teresa was spotted at Elmer’s Diner in Danbury, enjoying an egg sandwich as her last non-prison meal. Witnesses say she looked surprisingly upbeat, and spent most of the meal on her phone, saying goodbye to family and friends. She was joined by her husband, and hopefully they made the most of their time together, because sources say Joe might be forbidden from visiting Teresa for the entirety of her sentence: “There is a good chance that Teresa and Joe will not even be able to see each other while they are serving their time, because you are not allowed visits from anyone who has been convicted of a felony,” says former convict Jody Gibson. Joe of course, pled guilty to the same fraud charges for which Teresa is now doing time. Joe’s 41-month sentence will begin after Teresa is released.  In addition to the bad news, Gibson has some important advice for Teresa: “There are certain rules that she will quickly learn,” Gibson says. “For example, if she is not up on her hygiene, the other girls will complain and they will get everyone to gang up on her.” “Even though Teresa is a strong woman, she must learn to get through her sentence by not accepting favors, not making any friends, and not making promises to anyone.” Should be easy enough. Teresa Giudice: Trying, Failing to Cash In Before Prison

Money got Teresa Giudice into her present predicament, so maybe she thinks enough cash can get her out of it? Whatever the case, ever since she was sentenced to 15 months in prison for fraud, Teresa has been selling herself out at every opportunity. The Giudices scored big bucks for pre-prison interview with Andy Cohen , and they reportedly filmed an entire season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (plus a Christmas special) in about half the time it usually takes. But now, it looks like the well has gone dry, and Teresa’s efforts to score one final payday before she gets locked up have fallen depressingly flat. “She was looking for paid holiday photo gigs with her family and personal appearances,” a source tells Radar Online. “She is trying to pocket all the money she can before heading off to the big house.” “We’re told no one even wanted her for press on New Year’s Eve.” Some have speculated that Teresa’s last-minute push for work is less about stacking funds, and more about attempting to distract herself from the reality of her situation. Earlier today, a source revealed that Teresa is still lying to her kids about the fact that she’s just days away from heading to prison for more than a year.  From the sound of things, she might be lying to herself, as well. Bruce Jenner is becoming a woman and plans to publicly announce his transition early next year, according to the latest tabloid rumor on the star’s alleged sex change. While the media’s attention was focused on the Sony hacking scandal , a far less noteworthy cyber-theft took place last week. Tracks from Madonna’s new album were leaked online, and as you might have guessed, the Internet responded with a collective shrug. But despite – or perhaps because of – the fact that the world cared as little about the leak as it would about a legitimate release from Madonna, the hot-headed pop queen went off on Instagram in a seething tirade that’s since been deleted: “This is artistic rape!!” wrote Madge. “This is a form of terrorism. WTF!!! Why do people want to destroy the artistic process???” “Why steal? Why not give me the best opportunity to finish and give you my very best?” Later – in equally over-the-top fashion – she offered her praise to fans who opted not to listen to the leaked songs. Yes, comparing the theft of a few songs to rape and terrorism might seem a bit extreme, but it’s exactly the type of attention-seeking behavior we’ve come to expect from Madonna – a woman who seems become more dramatic with each passing year. Teresa Giudice Gets Raided: Christmas Gifts SEIZED By Government Agents?!

It’s been a rough few months for Teresa Giudice, and if the latest tabloid report out of Jersey is any indication, things may have just gotten much worse. As you’ve likely heard, Teresa and Joe Giudice were convicted of fraud back in March. In addition to being sentenced to federal prison time, Teresa and Joe will be forced to pay back hundreds of thousands of dollars in restitution. They’ve already made a big dent in their debt to the government, thanks to a huge payday from their pre-prison interview with Andy Cohen . But apparently the feds still feel the couple is hiding assets (which is exactly what landed them in trouble in the first place). Radar Online is reporting that the Giudice’s home was raided yesterday after Teresa and Joe failed to set up a restitution payment plan in a timely fashion. Government agents entered the Montville, NJ mansion while Teresa was home, and left with thousands of dollars in property: “Plasma televisions, expensive jewelry, cash, and even the kids Christmas presents were taken,” says one insider. “Teresa was home and was absolutely stunned by the raid. She had no clue they were coming. She was absolutely hysterical, and begging them not to take the girls’ Christmas presents.” In addition to the gifts and other valuables, the source says “a large amount of cash” was discovered in the Giudices’ basement. The property will reportedly be auctioned off, and whatever money is left over will be used to help pay off the Giudices’ several million dollar debt to their creditors. Teresa has been sentenced to 15 months in prison, and will begin serving her sentence on January 5. Gia Giudice Releases "Season of Joy" Music Video: Terrible or Just Kind of Lame?

Even though Teresa Giudice is headed to prison in a few weeks, her 13-year-old daughter Gia seems to be having a downright joyous holiday season. At least that’s the impression she gives in her latest music video: 3KT: “Season of Joy” Music Video Earlier this year,  Gia formed a girl group called 3KT  with two of her friends. The group’s been a source of controversy from the start, as many feel that Gia’s parents are setting her up as the family breadwinner in preparation for their back-to-back prison sentences. In addition, 3KT’s first video was inappropriately risque and featured the tween-age girls covering Britney Spears’ Circus in a variety of revealing outfits. Given the grossed-out response to the first clip, it’s not surprising that Gia and company are considerably more clothed in their second video. It’s also not exactly shocking that they had trouble securing funds for the video’s production budget. The group launched a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising $7,500. They offered perks including a meet-and-greet and “producer credits,” but still received less than $900 in donations. That’s when the girls’ parents – including the famously cash-strapped Teresa – opened their wallets to help make their daughters’ pop star dreams come true. If you’re wondering why the group needed so much cash for such a short, simple clip, much of which was filmed in the Giudices’ mansion, it’s important to bear in mind that Teresa Giudice was involved. Teresa Giudice: Fired By Crisis Manager For Trying to Land a Spot in Orange is the New Black Jail!

The ongoing saga of Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Here’s a quick run-down to bring you up to speed: Earlier this month,  Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison . She tried to get out of it (even though she’d signed a plea deal); she gave some lucrative pre-prison interviews, and then she hired an ex-con “crisis manager.” Within days, the crisis manager – Wendy Feldman – had scored Teresa a tell-all book deal and helped her land a cushy prison assignment. It looked like there was finally a silver lining in the dark cloud that is Teresa’s life. So naturally, she had to go and paint it black: Feldman canned Teresa as a client this week after the reality star “repeatedly” ignored her advice and went behind her back to contact lawyers, judges, and the Bureau of Prisons. It seems Teresa badly wants to be assigned to Danbury Correctional Facility, the site that served as the inspiration for the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.  Teresa went behind Feldman’s back to request that the BOP send her to Danbury. She claims it’s so that she can be closer to her husband and kids, but c’mon…she probably just wants to meet Crazy Eyes. Mind you, Teresa was already assigned to a facility affectionately referred to as ” Camp Cupcake ” due to its lax rules and friendly staff.  Feldman had reportedly worked hard to get Teresa such a coveted assignment and was understandably pissed when Teresa threw it all away in hopes of gettin’ it on with Donna from That 70s Show. Feldman now says that she’ll never work with the Giudice family again. Would Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano carry on the tradition on The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 14, the final installment of 2014? By that, we mean exploding in epic fashion on a Real Housewives finale, as Teresa Giudice and her table-flipping ways so famously did in Season 1? The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Premiere: Record Ratings!

Yup, viewers still love those crazy Real Housewives of New Jersey . Sunday night’s season four premiere garnered three million viewers for Bravo, earning a spot as the most-viewed season premiere in network history. The episode featured your basic fighting among cast members, highlighted by Teresa Giudice (above) saying sister-in-law Melissa Gorga would leave her husband if a richer man entered the picture. Gorga didn’t respond kindly to those comments. An hour prior to this premiere, The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion matched its counterpart, as 3.2 million people (who may need to re-evaluate their lives) tuned in to watch grown women stage scripted arguments.
