Duggar Date Night: Married Couples Pile Into Van, Ditch Kids With Jana

The Duggar family took date night to a new level Sunday, as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar joined kids Josh, Jill, and Jessa, and their spouses for an evening of fun. The rest of their 19 Kids and Counting? At home with Jana Duggar , obviously. Josh, Jill and Jessa Duggar, and their spouses Anna Duggar, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald, joined Jim Bob and Michelle for a photo Josh put up on Twitter. “Quadruple-date with these people!” the 26-year-old father of three children himself (soon to be four) captioned the photo of the family posing in a minivan. That family really needs a customized, stretch minivan of some kind. The quadruple Duggar date follows Jessa and Jill’s double date earlier this month with husbands Ben and Derick, which put to rest whispers of a feud. There had been talk of Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar feud , but a dinner party put that to rest. Jill wrote: “@jessaseewald and @ben_seewald are here for dinner!” “So fun hanging out with our siblings! #familydinnner #19kids.” You know who hangs out with her siblings a lot? Jana Duggar, the family’s oldest daughter, and the one left in charge of the little ones in many situations. Or when anyone in the family does anything, basically. Teresa Giudice Gives Joe and Melissa Gorga the Cold Shoulder Before Prison

In a few weeks,  Teresa Giuidice will be in prison , trying to figure out if her mean girl, blowhard antics will be effective behind bars. Before she goes, however, Teresa will have the opportunity to spend the holiday season with her family. Well…part of her family, anyway. While  Melissa Gorga’s reaction to Teresa’s sentence  was surprisingly compassionate, there’s reportedly still plenty of bad blood between the Giudice and Gorga clans. In fact, sources say Teresa has blown off an invitation from her brother and sister-in-law to spend Christmas together as a family: “While most people would want to spend their last Christmas home with all of their family, Teresa has been extremely vocal about the fact that she will not spend the holidays with Melissa or Joe,” a source tells Radar Online. “Truly, she can’s stand them, and wants no ‘last holiday’ memories to be made with them.” If you  watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , then you know the rift between the Giudices and Gorgas runs deep, so we can’t say we blame Teresa for bailing on the festivities. Besides, Teresa’s been sentenced to 15 months, and she’ll probably serve less than 12, so really this is just her “last” Christmas until next Christmas. Jill Duggar vs. Jessa Duggar: Feud Revealed on Twitter?!

You might think that Jill and Jessa Duggar would be as close as two sisters can be. After all, they’re only a year apart in age, they’re both newly married,  Jill just got pregnant , and Jessa is sure to make her own announcement any day. And yet, a close inspection of Jill and Jessa’s Twitter pages reveals that there might be some bad blood between the two newlyweds. While Jessa follows Jill and her new husband Derick Dillard on the site, Jill does not follow Jessa or her hubby Ben Seewald. That may seem like a pretty minor offense, but it’s worth noting that Jill follows just about everyone else who has ties to her family. Some have pointed out that in the book Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships,  Jessa’s siblings briefly acknowledge her role as the most difficult of the sisters. In one somewhat humorous passage, Jana Duggar opens up about being repeatedly kicked by Jessa and responding by giving her a jewelry box as a gift. (The incident pretty much sums up Jana’s role in the Duggar family .) Could it be that Jessa was such a relentless bully as a kid that Jill is still unable to get over it? Maybe. But maybe Jill just totally spaced on following her sister on Twitter. We may never know for sure, but one thing is for certain – if the rumors about Jana and Tim Tebow are true, Jill and Jessa are both gonna hate her. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar: We Will Always Stand For Truth and Values!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are speaking out – with the help of scripture – in the wake of the controversy the couple recently sparked on Facebook. After posting a pictures of themselves reenacting Jessa and Ben Seewald’s kiss on Instagram, they invited married couples to submit their own kissing pics. They reportedly then deleted pictures of same-sex and interracial couples from their official page, a move that provoked serious backlash online. In response, the TLC stars posted a new message about remaining steadfast in their convictions, using a passage from the Bible to illustrate their point. Quoting Luke 6:27, they wrote, “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.” “This is such a sweet scripture that we hold dear,” the Duggars wrote. “We will always stand for truth and the values we hold dear without compromise.” But, Jim Bob and Michelle said, “we will do so in love and kindness – treating others well even if we don’t agree with them and we will do so without hateful words.” “This verse is a reminder of how we must always carry ourselves,” they concluded of the Biblical passage, praising the “precious words from Jesus.” The Duggars’ post did not specifically mention the Facebook controversy, but the uproar and the timing make it fairly unlikely that it was a coincidence. Another celebrity has reacted to Kim Kardashian’s attempt to #BreaktheInternet. Late last night, Paper Magazine came out with the cover of its winter issue, which features a very clear shot of Kim Kardashian’s very oily butt . In response, the collective jaw of the Internet has dropped, while Naya Rivera has slammed Kardashian for posing in such naked fashion as a mother. Now, Chelsea Handler has also spoken out online – and she’s done so in a manner that is decidedly Not Safe for Work. “Can you believe more than 2 ass can fit on the same screen? Guess which one’s real. Your move, instagram,” Handler wrote as a caption to the following image, which really does speak for itself: Handler, of course, may be the one celebrity out there who is less why about her body than Kim Kardashian. It may be harder to find a picture of Chelsea Handler clothed than it would be to find one of Chelsea Handler nude. The talk show host actually mocked the Kardashians ones by posing in her birthday suit. With all the hullabaloo over Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald’s wedding (and what may have gone down after the wedding), her older sister has been out of the spotlight. It seems like a lifetime ago in Duggar Land, but Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard not even six months ago in Arkansas. Then the newlyweds quickly got pregnant. Mom Michelle Duggar, who sparked some controversy herself this week with her deletion of Facebook kissing photos , says Jill is doing very, very well these days. Her marriage to Derick Dillard has been a “very smooth transition,” she blogs of the cute couple who left the nest, noting that “they have their schedule already.” “They both get up and off to work or Jill works on her studies [to be a midwife]. Sometimes she’ll pop by our place since it’s awfully quiet at her house.” “She’s so used to studying with noise.” Michelle added that the couple’s home is all set and they are already entertaining: “It’s so sweet to see them starting their lives and their family together.” “It was truly the joy of [Jill’s] life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other. A week after newlyweds Jessa and Ben eschewed their first kiss at their wedding but locked lips for the camera later, Jim Bob and Michelle have followed suit … They sent it to Jessa via text, which is either awkward, adorable or both. “My parents texted me this picture!” Jessa captioned the Instagram pic. “This year marks 30 years of marriage, and they’re still in that ‘honeymoon’ stage! Last week, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald got married in front of an estimated 1,000 guests. In a moment that reportedly shocked some of the attendees (including Jessa’s parents) Jessa and Ben refused to kiss in front of the crowd after the ceremony, opting instead to enjoy the moment someplace private. Now, a friend of the Duggars who’s also a conservative Christian blogger is claiming that the Seewalds did more than just kiss during their time alone. “Multiple people were discussing that when Jinger opened the door to get Jessa for the reception, she immediately closed the door with a look of shock on her face,” writes the blogger, who goes by the name Mary B. “My own daughters saw as well.” “I am not sure why they would not wait for the evening to pray and then consummate God’s marriage.” “The Lord has blessed them and brought them together. To hear so many people discussing what they inadvertently walked in on was troubling and heartbreaking…I believe Jessa and Ben are deeply in lust with each other.” In accordance with the strict Duggar courtship rules , Jessa and Ben were not permitted to kiss or even hug face-to-face until they were married. If Mary B believes that Jessa and Ben’s relationship is driven by lust, then she’s probably not a fan of the photo of Jessa and Ben kissing that the new Mrs. Sweewald posted to her Instagram page today. Continuing a banner year for her famous family, 19 Kids and Counting cast member Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald tied the knot Saturday in Arkansas. The couple, who recited their own wedding vows in front of an estimated 1,000 guests, were saving their very first kiss until after they’d said “I do.” Anyone else hoping to witness it was left hanging, however. “They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private,” Pastor Mike Schadt, who married the couple , said later. “It was important to the both of them.” He spoke to the crowd about the couple’s big decision and asked Jessa’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to show the wedding crowd a kiss. “So, now you’ve seen a Duggar kiss,” Schadt said. After spending some time alone with each other, the new bride and groom posed for pictures and later exchanged several sweet kisses at the reception. The first, however, remains their memory alone. The reception was also missing another traditional feature. The duo chose to have ice cream sundaes instead of cake, of which Jessa isn’t a huge fan. Olivia Pope has it pretty rough. In order to save the life of one lover (Jake) on Scandal Season 4 Episode 6 , our favorite fixer told another (Fitz) that there’s still “hope” the two of them could have a future. What will this mean for Olivia going forward? Many late-night phone calls at the very least, based on the following ABC teaser for  Scandal Season 4 Episode 7 : Scandal Season 4 Episode 7 Teaser Elsewhere on “Baby Made a Mess,” Olivia will set her sights on Tom in order to gain more intel about Jake, while Leo Bergen’s new client will prompt the Gladiators to spring into action. Meanwhile, Huck will keep playing with fire; Mellie will make a power move; and Elizabeth’s shocking alliance will revealed. Expect to be stunned by it.
