Jessa Duggar Baby Bump Photo: 16 Weeks, 1 Day & Counting!

Making like her big sister Jill Duggar, the pregnant Jessa Duggar, 22, shared her first baby bump photo with followers on Instagram on Monday. Suffice it to say, she looks adorable … “16 weeks 1 day #BabyBump #BabySeewald,” the 19 Kids and Counting star captioned a mirror selfie of herself cradling her growing belly. Jessa wore a snug, fitted t-shirt that comes about as close to pushing the limits of things banned by the Duggar family as you’ll ever see. Following months of pregnancy rumors, Jessa announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald, 19, in April. “Ben and I are so excited to announce we’re expecting a baby!!!!!” Jessa told fans, revealing she’s due on her anniversary, November 1. The TLC stars hinted that Jessa Duggar is expecting twins – which do run in her family, as she has two sets for siblings – last month. “Can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or a girl,” Seewald said in a sweet video clip with Jessa, before teasing: “It could be both, who knows?” The expectant star herself said in a separate video posted by TLC that she “thinks it’s a boy,” and that her “pregnancy’s going great.” “I’m feeling good … I’m looking forward to the second trimester.” Will she and Ben reveal the gender on 19 Kids and Counting this summer? The Duggars love their gender reveal parties, so it’s possible. We can only hope, and in the meantime, look back at Jessa and Ben’s passionate, sometimes controversial road to parenthood below … View Slideshow: Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Photos

Jessa Duggar on Pregnancy: Jill is the Expert!

The pregnant Jessa Duggar doesn’t have to go far for advice when it comes to carrying her first child – or children – with her husband Ben Seewald. The 19 Kids and Counting star’s sister Jill Dillard (formerly Jill Duggar), is not only a student midwife, but has just become a parent for the first time. Jill, 23, “has all the knowledge and training,” Jessa, 22, says. After welcoming her first son Israel David with husband Derick, 26, on April 6 after a 70-hour labor , Jill certainly has a wealth of information to pass on. “I am not comparing, not worrying about what could happen, just getting prepared,” says Jessa, the third Duggar daughter after Jill and Jana Duggar . “Every birth story is unique,” she tells People . “We think we want to go with a midwife and we want to have a home birth, but I just want to be prepared that not everything may go as planned.” Jill certainly taught her that lesson, big time. Jessa says she’s going to “try not to get too worried about it” even as she plans for a range of possibilities. Now into her second trimester, the mom-to-be – who may or may not be expecting twins with Ben Seewald – is grateful morning sickness has waned. “I thought I’d crave pickles and lemons because my mother did, but I couldn’t stand them. And one day I suddenly couldn’t do dairy,” says Jessa. “I would sit and bed and eat crackers, hoping the nausea would pass,” she adds, tough fortunately, Ben was there, “waiting on me hand and foot.” Those Duggars pick good ones. To relive Jessa’s road to the altar, and Jill’s road to parenthood, follow the link to watch 19 Kids and Counting online . Then tune in to TLC May 5. We’ll go behind the scenes of Israel’s birth on that night’s episode, Much like Jessa’s wedding special followed Jill’s, she can expect a similar installment! As for Jana? Poor Jana. Teresa Giudice Gives Joe and Melissa Gorga the Cold Shoulder Before Prison

In a few weeks,  Teresa Giuidice will be in prison , trying to figure out if her mean girl, blowhard antics will be effective behind bars. Before she goes, however, Teresa will have the opportunity to spend the holiday season with her family. Well…part of her family, anyway. While  Melissa Gorga’s reaction to Teresa’s sentence  was surprisingly compassionate, there’s reportedly still plenty of bad blood between the Giudice and Gorga clans. In fact, sources say Teresa has blown off an invitation from her brother and sister-in-law to spend Christmas together as a family: “While most people would want to spend their last Christmas home with all of their family, Teresa has been extremely vocal about the fact that she will not spend the holidays with Melissa or Joe,” a source tells Radar Online. “Truly, she can’s stand them, and wants no ‘last holiday’ memories to be made with them.” If you  watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online , then you know the rift between the Giudices and Gorgas runs deep, so we can’t say we blame Teresa for bailing on the festivities. Besides, Teresa’s been sentenced to 15 months, and she’ll probably serve less than 12, so really this is just her “last” Christmas until next Christmas. Sure,  Joe Giudice begins his 41 month sentence  as soon as Teresa gets home, but we get the feeling he won’t be too upset about missing one last Christmas with the brother-in-law who hates him. 11 Teresa Giudice GIFs That Should Worry Her Fellow Inmates 1. Table Flipping Fiend Teresa Giudice is not gonna take any crap. Her table-flipping reputation will precede her in prison, thanks to The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 1.

Jill Duggar vs. Jessa Duggar: Feud Revealed on Twitter?!

You might think that Jill and Jessa Duggar would be as close as two sisters can be. After all, they’re only a year apart in age, they’re both newly married,  Jill just got pregnant , and Jessa is sure to make her own announcement any day. And yet, a close inspection of Jill and Jessa’s Twitter pages reveals that there might be some bad blood between the two newlyweds. While Jessa follows Jill and her new husband Derick Dillard on the site, Jill does not follow Jessa or her hubby Ben Seewald. That may seem like a pretty minor offense, but it’s worth noting that Jill follows just about everyone else who has ties to her family. Some have pointed out that in the book Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships,  Jessa’s siblings briefly acknowledge her role as the most difficult of the sisters. In one somewhat humorous passage, Jana Duggar opens up about being repeatedly kicked by Jessa and responding by giving her a jewelry box as a gift. (The incident pretty much sums up Jana’s role in the Duggar family .) Could it be that Jessa was such a relentless bully as a kid that Jill is still unable to get over it? Maybe. But maybe Jill just totally spaced on following her sister on Twitter. We may never know for sure, but one thing is for certain – if the rumors about Jana and Tim Tebow are true, Jill and Jessa are both gonna hate her. Dude is the Holy Grail of fundamentalist, V-card-carrying beaus. Watch 19 Kids and Counting online to see if you can detect any negativity between Jill and Jessa. 13 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals 1. Jessa Gets Strapped Jessa Duggar and her then-boyfriend Ben Seewald began courting controversy almost from the moment they started dating, posing for photos like this one – a picture that now seems tame considering what they’ve been stirring up more recently.

Jessa Duggar Responds to Online Rumors, Posts Inspirational Bible Passage

Jessa Duggar isn’t letting rumors surrounding herself and Ben Seewald get her down, responding to the online uproar just as you might expect she would: With an inspirational Bible quote. “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good,” Duggar wrote on Instagram alongside a screen shot of a Bible passage, which reads as follows: “Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all.” “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God.” “For it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.'” Moving stuff, for sure. Is it a direct response to rumors that Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald had sex at their wedding and being discovered by her younger sister Jinger Duggar? We cannot say. We don’t even know if she’s aware that the rumor exists, but given how savvy Jessa and Ben are with social media, we would not be surprised if they knew. The response also makes perfect sense in this context, refusing to address or respond in kind to their critics, but to leave it up to their Lord to decide. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Photos 1. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald: In Love Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald in one of their many sweet Instagram moments. Her shirt sums it all up, really. Jessa, 22, and Ben, 19, decided to have their first kiss in private after their November 1 wedding, to the shock and dismay of her parents Jim Bob and Michelle. Then the rumor hit the web and spread like wildfire: Seewald and his bride did more than lock lips, according to one blogger among the 1,000 guests. A Christian fundamentalist blog claims the two consummated their marriage while in a private church room and Jessa’s maid of honor Jinger, 20, saw it. The blogger stood by the story despite reports that the story was all a hoax , and says that people shouldn’t criticize Jessa (except for not locking the door). Sex, the alleged Duggar Deep Throat muses, is for Man and Wife, so if Ben was getting it in once the marriage was Christened, legal and official, well … It was just the couple glorifying God . Deal with it. As for some other celebrity couples who have supposedly caught having carnal relations in public, the Christian blogger might be somewhat less accepting … 7 Celebrity Couples Who Had Sex in Public! 1. Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar Reenact Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald Instagram Kiss: TMI or Too Cute?

Step aside, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald. Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have still got that spark, too, as they showed with a surprising and STEAMY photo. A week after newlyweds Jessa and Ben eschewed their first kiss at their wedding but locked lips for the camera later, Jim Bob and Michelle have followed suit … They sent it to Jessa via text, which is either awkward, adorable or both. “My parents texted me this picture!” Jessa captioned the Instagram pic. “This year marks 30 years of marriage, and they’re still in that ‘honeymoon’ stage! It’s great to see older married couples still so madly in love! I love you Mom & Dad!” The black and white image of the Duggar parents locking lips in a passionate embrace, mirrors Jessa and Ben’s picture, which became a viral hit, exactly. Are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar feeling a little left out, perhaps? Maybe they felt the need to inspire their third-eldest daughter with a vision of how wonderful marriage is, or looking to steal a bit of the limelight themselves? A little of Column A and Column B? That would be our guess. Either way, Jessa’s apparently a big fan of marriage already. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Photos 1. Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald: In Love Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald in one of their many sweet Instagram moments. Her shirt sums it all up, really. While she opted not to have her first kiss at her November 1 wedding in order to ensure the couple’s privacy, Jessa’s had no problem with PDA ever since. “It’s great living life with your best friend! @ben_seewald,” she captioned her sexy first kiss photo, which may or may not have led to much, much more. Reports that Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald had sex at the church after their wedding have spread like wildfire online since a blogger first alleged this. Allegedly, her younger sister and maid of honor Jinger Duggar walked in and saw this, which must have been quite the sight for the chaste youngster. Some speculated that this story was all a hoax, but the blogger who first reported it defends her account, as well as the alleged actions that inspired it. To hear her tell it, the coital couple was glorifying God with their amorous actions that day, and the only thing they did wrong was not locking the door. Rookie mistake. Poor Jinger. 9 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family 1. Dates Without Chaperones The Duggar parents often accompany their children on dates in order to maintain their “accountability” and “keep things from going in the wrong direction,” per Jim Bob. The girls are fine with this, as being alone with men puts them in grave “moral danger.” When the parents aren’t available, their older siblings will often tag along, making every date a group date and a family affair.

Ben Seewald’s Dad Defends Jessa Duggar, Says Her Critics Are "Hitler’s Doppelgangers"

Ben Seewald’s father, Michael, is weighing in on some of the criticism Jessa Duggar recently endured, calling out the critics of his soon-to-be-daughter-in-law. Specifically, he’s calling the critics of 21-year-old Jessa “Hitler’s Doppelgangers.” Yes, he said that. So how’d we get to this point, you ask? Here’s a refresher: After visiting Washington, D.C., Jessa commented on the Holocaust on abortion in an Instagram essay that resulted in some pretty significant backlash. The Duggars, as you know if you watch 19 Kids and Counting online , or read any celebrity news sites lately, are unabashedly religious and pro-life. Jessa also believes Earth is 6,000 years old , but that’s neither here nor there. Well, she’s marrying a young man in Ben Seewald that shares her convictions, as does his family. Michael Seewald proved this by going OFF on her detractors … “Bravo, Jessa, for daring to speak out against one of the great evils of our time even if it means that Hitler’s doppelgangers are enraged,” Ben’s father writes. “Maybe this is why Rush Limbaugh calls radical feminists ‘Femi-Nazis’.” Michael’s full missive describes in detail how he believes that “abortion also is the extermination of a certain class of people deemed unworthy to live.” Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Photos 1. In our society we may legally discriminate against our own children and eradicate them.” “Tell me how this is not the same thing.” Some many view statements such as godly, and vital in terms of speaking truth to power. Others may think of Seewald’s rant as hate speech in and of itself. Jessa Duggar, for her part, did not go nearly as far when lamenting the human rights atrocities she was so moved by when she visited the Holocaust museum. The controversy isn’t likely to wane anytime soon, whichever side you’re on. As the criticism intensifies, the Duggars and their supporters keep digging in. Will comments from Ben Seewald ‘s family and the like hurt the popularity of the TLC family? Or only make fans more inclined to tune in, whether they agree or not? 9 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family 1.
