Now that Summit Entertainment has tracked down (and publicly blasted ) that troublesome Breaking Dawn pirate , the studio can get back to promoting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 , due in theaters this November 18. And what better way to build buzz about Bill Condon’s next installment of the popular vampire series than to have its stars talk about their eagerly-anticipated sex scene?

REVIEW: Jesse Eisenberg Keeps 30 Minutes or Less Ticking, But Barely

Jesse Eisenberg’s performance in 30 Minutes or Less is like a mirror of something you’ve seen before in a movie you’ve seen before: As an unambiguously unambitious pizza-delivery guy who’s forced to rob a bank, is he riffling through the deck and pulling out the same old cards, perhaps in a slightly different order? Or is he adding subtle variations to a type of character he’s played many times previously, biding his time until he can get another role like the perfectly calibrated one he played in The Social Network ?

REVIEW: Great Title, Cool Idea, But Cowboys and Aliens Crash-Lands

The B-movie marquee title of Cowboys and Aliens suggests a picture that’s more irreverent, imaginative, and fun than the turgid movie that stands behind it. Rather than goosing the Western and sci-fi genres into the ring for a showdown, Jon Favreau’s follow-up to the Iron Man franchise takes a pretty radical structural shortcut: Replace the Indians in a classic, mix-’em-up Western with jacked-up, gold-greedy aliens. What’s most disappointing about the raucous but ultimately cumbersome result is the feeling — which only progresses as the improbable posse at the center of the film closes in on its intergalactic enemy — that Cowboys and Aliens may just as easily have been Cowboys and Zombies , or Werewolves , or Wall Street Time Travelers Venturing into the Past for Capital .

Annette Bening Teams Up with Kristen Wiig for Imogene

Annette Bening will play Kristen Wiig’s mother in Imogene , the tale of “a moderately successful Gotham playwright (Wiig) who stages a fake suicide attempt to win back her ex-boyfriend, only to end up forced into the custody of her gambling-addict mother.” I hope this means the return of the shifty, savvy Bening we saw in The Grifters . I assume Kristen Wiig has a mean Anjelica Huston impersonation in her arsenal. In the meantime, Bening is working on He Loves Me with Paul Dano and Zoe Kazan. Oscar , please! [ Deadline ]

Katharine McPhee and David R. Ellis on How Shark Night is Like Arachnophobia and The Birds

In David R. Ellis’s Shark Night 3D , American Idol star-turned-actress Katharine McPhee plays Beth, a “tough chick party girl” who, with a group of fellow co-eds, heads to a summer beach house one weekend only to find the waters infested with hungry, deadly sharks. It’s scary stuff, she and Ellis, say, but don’t go in expecting the usual boobs ‘n’ blood exploitation-fest.

Watch Jesse Eisenberg Turn On That Mark Zuckerberg Charm in Sabotaged PSA

The proprietors at the Alamo Drafthouse — a theater where texting/talking during a screening is considered grounds for decapitation — asked Jesse Eisenberg how he feels about loud patrons at the cineplex. You’d think Eisenberg would roll with the idea and complain about such whippersnappers, but instead he rebelled and claimed that talking during movies helps build community. Oh, Jesse. Your weird social skills are the ultimate cinematic treat.

Watch ‘Jesse Eisenberg’ Give Advice to Teen Girls in New Funny or Die Video

Oh, man. The only way the Funny or Die video “Staying Positive with Jesse Eisenberg” could be any better is if Eisenberg himself was actually the star. He’s not, of course, but comic Scott Gairdner does a fairly great impression of what the 30 Minutes or Less star would look like hosting an advice show for teen girls. “Should I like goth or hip-hop?” asks one of the youngsters hoping for some Eisenberg-y insight. Great question! And plenty more where that came from — even a music video starring “Eisenberg” at the end. Click through to watch.
