15-Foot 800-Pound Alligator Found In Florida Farm The NYDailyNews is reporting that some guys in Florida have found a dinosaur (or something like that…) Two Florida hunters say they’ve caught the largest alligator they’ve ever found: nearly 15 feet long and 800 pounds. Lee Lightsey, the owner of Outwest Farms in Okeechobee, and guide Blake Godwin were hunting over the weekend when they discovered the gator in one of their cattle ponds, Godwin told Fox 13. The two men saw the gator from about 20 feet away, at which point Lightsey shot it as it came out of the water. They used a farm tractor to pull it to shore. “We also discovered the remains what we determined to be cattle in the water,” Godwin said. “We determined that he was in fact attacking our livestock as they came to drink.” No. Nope. Nah. Naw. Image via Facebook

Tracy Morgan Admits That He Contemplated Suicide After His Tragic Car Accident When Tracy Morgan hosted Saturday Night Live last year, we all rejoiced. He appeared to have fully recovered from the car accident that we feared would take his life. Fast-forward 21 months and Tracy is now taking time to reflect publicly on his mental and physical state during that very difficult time via Rolling Stone … In the wake of Morgan’s injuries, it felt like his worst fears were coming true. “I said, ‘If my funny ever went away, I’d die,’” he says on a Monday evening in his New Jersey home, a few days before the Michigan show. “And I thought I was going to die for a long time. My thoughts – I was in a very dark place. I was sitting right here, contemplating suicide. I couldn’t walk.” He’s in an easy chair facing a TV in his living room, near a cylindrical tank where his giant Pacific octopus lurks, waiting for its next meal of lobster. Morgan insisted on leaving the hospital early and continuing his rehabilitation at home. “You go to hospitals to f***ing die,” he says. “If I got to go, I wanted to be in the house with my family.” For the first couple of weeks, he stayed in the second-floor bedroom, unable to navigate the stairs. “My wife heard all the screaming,” he says, calling Megan over from the kitchen, where she and her mother are playing with Maven, who is dressed head-to-toe in Disney gear. “She changed all the bedsheets when I s**t on myself. She knows.” Personal injuries aside, it appears that part of what lead Tracy to that “dark place” was the death of his friend and mentor Jimmy Mack. Morgan struggled with feelings of guilt, reminding himself that everyone in the car was there because of him. “Emotionally, it’s hard for me to deal with,” he says. “I asked everybody to be there that night. I have to live with that. But I had to forgive myself. I know Jimmy would want it like that.” He cues up a song he’d play to soothe himself in his dark moments – which happens to be the smooth-jazz theme from Taxi – and begins to weep. “I remember the days,” he murmurs. “I remember them days. Jesus.” Morgan has zero desire to recover his memories of that night. “The past is nothing but a forest filled with horrors,” he says, gravely. Because it is Tracy Morgan saying these words, I can’t help but laugh. He grins a little, and starts repeating the phrase, putting some spin on it, pushing it fully around the corner to comedy. “Nothing but a forest full of horrors,” he intones. We’re beyond thrilled that Tracy did not choose to end his life. His unique brand of comedy is needed in these days when there are SO many things that can bring us down on a daily basis. God bless Tracy Morgan and his family. Image via Splash

Woman Shot Several Times Trying To Shield Children From Kalamazoo Shooter’s Bullets The NYDailyNews is reporting that one of the Kalamazoo shooter Jason Dalton’s victims was severely injured while trying desperately to protect the small children playing in front of a housing building… Tiana Carruthers put herself between a group of kids and gunman Jason Dalton at the beginning of his Saturday night rampage in Michigan, when he killed six and wounded two others. Carruthers was hit three times in the legs and arms, according toWWMT,but is expected to survive after receiving multiple surgeries. The 25-year-old and several children, including at least one of her own, were outside at the Meadows Townhomes when Dalton, a 45-year-old Uber driver, drove up right before 6 p.m.J According to 12-year-old Joi Coleman: “He shot her once and she was still running and then he shot her again and she fell. She was asking ‘Joi, help me. Joi, help me,” the young girl recounted. This is beyond sad. How the hell does Uber just have any-ol’-body driving for them without properly screening for psychopath murderers??? Image via Facebook
Alpha Phi Alpha Suspended After Death Of Allegedly Hazed Student A 21 year old Buffalo State student named Bradley Doyley died at Buffalo General Medical Center this week after vomiting blood and being sick for several weeks. According to the NYDailyNews , the college’s branch of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity may be responsible for his death. Witnesses say that the frat forced Doyley to “drink something toxic” as part of his hazing initiation. After Bradley’s illness persisted and intensified, he was said to have been taken into surgery to have his stomach examined. Buffalo police are investigating allegations that Doyley’s death may be linked to a hazing incident at an off-campus Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity house. The campus chapter of the organization has been suspended by both the college and the fraternity’s national governing body. College officials told WKBW-ABC that Doyley was not a member of the frat and was not pledging. “He had not completed the application process with the national fraternity,” a spokesperson for the SUNY school told the station. But students who knew Doyley told a different story. “I was in the weight room and heard he was pledging and was made to drink some type of toxic substance,” Dametrius Brown, a member of the college football team, told the Buffalo News. “I keep hearing different stories. First it was detergent, then some said sewer water.” We get that people like frats and sororities and whatnot, but how much pain and suffering are you really down to endure just to kick it with a couple of color-coordinated friends? Ghosts Haunting Cab Drivers On today’s episode of “Aww Hell Naw!,” we learn that there are ghosts with “unfinished business” running around a Japanese region, haunting taxi drivers and giving them hell. All the 18,000 people who died when a magnitude 9.0 undersea earthquake stuck off a Japanese coast and caused a tsunami in 2011 didn’t all make it to the other side. Story from The Inquisitr : On March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9.0 undersea earthquake struck off the coast of the Sendai region of Japan (about 250 miles northeast of Tokyo). The earthquake, and resulting tsunami, devastated the region – Ishinomaki (population: 145,000) in particular – and left over 18,000 people dead. Tohoku Gakuin University sociology researcher Yuka Kudo interviewed over 100 Ishinomaki cab drivers, asking them if they had any “unusual” experiences after the earthquake and tsunami. Most of her interview subjects got angry and refused to talk. But seven of them did speak, and what they told her is downright creepy. One driver, in his 40’s, reported picking up a ghost passenger, a man in his 20’s. When the cabbie asked his passenger his destination, the man would only point forward and say “Mount Hiyoriyama.” Once they arrived at the destination, the cabbie said, his passenger had disappeared. Another cabbie, in his 50’s, said he picked up a woman near a train station, who asked to be taken to a part of town still in ruins from the tsunami. “The area is almost empty. Is it OK?” he asked her. Shivering, she responded, “Have I died?” When he turned to speak to her, she was gone. Ms. Kudo tells Japanese newspaper Asahi Shinbun that the ghost passengers, who all took the guise of young adults, are victims of the tsunami who never got the chance to say goodbye to their loved ones. Let us find out you gotta douse yourself in Holy Water before catching a cab in Japan. Crazy. Shutterstock
