Benzino Shot Multiple Times While Leaving His Mother’s Funeral Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reality star and rapper Benzino was reportedly the victim of a shooting today while leaving his mother’s funeral in Massachusetts. Although reports are still coming in as to what actually took place, The Urban Daily is reporting that Benzino is in critical condition after being shot three times by his nephew while exiting the funeral service. According to WCVB Boston , the shooting occurred between “two vehicles whose occupants knew each other.” The shooter was reportedly riding in a Bentley and shot the driver of a Dodge SUV. The injured person, believed to have been Benzino, was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital shortly following the shooting, while the assailant was later arrested. The names of both the victim and the shooter are not being released at this time Benzino took to social media earlier this week with the news of his mother’s passing and was reportedly riding in the hearse when the shots rang out and he was hit.
