Bloody Body Falls From Airplane Traveling Over West Africa In a bizarre story near West Africa, a man says he watched as a black person’s body landed and was later found by police lying in blood after falling out of an airplane en route to the country’s capital. via Huffington Post Niger’s interior minister says a body fell from an Air France plane as it approached the West African country’s capital, Niamey, and was discovered lifeless in western suburb. Abdou Labo said a resident was standing just a few meters from where the body landed at around 5 a.m. Thursday. He said police arrived and found “the lifeless body of a black person, lying in blood.” He also said blood had been spotted on the left wing of the plane. Labo said the plane was coming from Burkina Faso’s capital, Ouagadougou, and was scheduled to continue to Paris. Officials were holding the plane in Niamey so crew members and passengers could be interviewed. Investigators in Ouagadougou are also looking into “the conditions in which the passengers boarded.” Sooooo either somebody pushed this person….or he jumped. Either way, something sounds shady. We’ll keep you posted if this story continues to develop…

This is so sad . 18-Year-Old Student Drowns According to Mail Online An Indiana family is struggling to understand why a promising 18-year-old student who was bound for college in the fall drove her SUV into a reservoir and drowned. Authorities do not know what caused Peyton Reikhof to make the fatal decision to drive across 100 feet of backyards and submerge her vehicle in Geist Reservoir in upscale Fishers, Indiana, an Indianapolis suburb. They fear they may never know. Investigators say Reikhof acted alone, though they are not sure whether she plowed into the water on purpose or whether it was an accident. Foul play is not suspected. She was found Sunday after her boyfriend called police on Thursday to report that she left his house distressed. He said he was concerned about her well-being, WISH-TV reports. Reikhof had recently graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School and was planning to attend the University of Kansas on scholarship in the fall. Her family is heartbroken and struggling to understand what happened. ‘She was just an amazing girl. She really was. She had so many friends. So active in everything and had an outstanding grade average and had a scholastic scholarship to KU,’ her grandfather Michael Reikhof told WISH-TV. Prayers to her family. Facebook

Man Kills Girlfriend According to The NY Daily News A 29-year-old NYPD employee was killed by her jealous boyfriend, who stuffed her body in a trash can inside their Bronx apartment, police and friends of the couple said. Cops on routine patrol noticed livery cab driver Moises Martinez, 52, inside his maroon Lincoln Town Car, which was parked on the sidewalk in front of the building he shared with victim Yajaira Reyes, about 5:40 a.m. Sunday. Cops told him to scram from the illegal spot outside the building on Walton Ave., but Martinez merely circled the block and returned, seeming nervous. That’s when police questioned him. When officers entered the couple’s apartment, they saw Reyes’ body crammed into a trash can. A Guatemalan immigrant, she had joined the NYPD as a traffic enforcement agent less than a year ago. Martinez was arrested on charges of murder and manslaughter. He has one prior arrest, from 2003, for stealing an automobile, police said. Martinez and Reyes were raising four kids together, neighbors said. The children were visiting their grandfather in Florida at the time of the murder, a friend said. Martinez had grown jealous over his much-younger girlfriend, friends said. “He was getting strange,” said Maximo Pena, a co-worker at Diplo car service. “He believed she was cheating on him.” Friends said the suspect’s deranged possessiveness sparked conflicts. “They’re fighting and arguing all the time,” said a neighbor who declined to give her name. Martinez was well-liked by his employers and co-workers. “According to the [livery cab] base he was a good, hardworking man,” said Fernando Mateo, head of the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers. “A very quiet man.” The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how Reyes was killed. Breaking News: Southwest Airlines Jet Crashes “Nose First” At LaGuardia Airport, 10 People Injured

Wow, this had to be so scary for the passengers . Southwest Airlines Jet Collapses According to The NY Post The front landing gear of a Southwest Airlines jet collapsed upon landing at LaGuardia Airport sending the nose of the Boeing 737 crashing to the tarmac. Ten passengers were treated at the scene. Six were taken to a hospital with minor injuries, said Thomas Bosco, Acting Director of Aviation for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The six crew members were taken to another hospital for observation. Southwest Flight 345 hit the tarmac “nose first” shortly before 6 p.m. on Runway 4, sending sparks flying all around the front of the jumbo jet, a source said. “There was no warning,” the source added, referring to the unexpected crash landing. Tom Marsala, 54, and his wife, Debra, were at the airport to pick up their daughter, Reena Posten, 21, and her husband, who were returning from Nashville to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. “She texted us, ‘Our plane just crashed, but we’re all OK,’” said Marsala. “I said, ‘What?’ I couldn’t believe it,” added Debra. Port Authority firefighting and rescue units raced to the scene and deployed fire retardant foam before quickly escorting frightened passengers and crew to safety, who descended onto the runway through emergency chutes. The cause of the mishap was unclear, Soutwest said. Flights arriving at LaGuardia were being rerouted to Newark and JFK. “We are gathering details and will post a statement soon,” a Southwest Airlines spokesman said in a tweet. Thank God no one died. This is some phucked up isht. Prisoner Murders Cellmate To Get Death Penalty He would be sentenced to death after killing his cellmate, but then he would go straight to hell. What’s the rush? According to Mail Online A prisoner murdered his cellmate by stuffing wet toilet paper down his throat and strangling him – the same way he murdered his girlfriend a year ago, it emerged today. Scott Alexander Greenberg, 28, of St Petersburg, Florida, killed Kelly Damon Harding, 48, at Pinellas County Jail in the early hours of Sunday morning after telling fellow inmates he would rather be executed than spend the rest of his life in prison. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said it was the first time in his 31 years that he heard of an inmate kill another at the jail. ‘What’s clear is that he had a plan, and he decided to execute that plan early this morning,’ he said at a press conference. The murder happened just minutes after prison guards performed a routine check. There was no surveillance camera in the cell. Deputies heard gurgling and thumping before Greenberg shouted out: ‘I did it, it’s done!’ At 1am, Greenberg yelled to deputies that there was ‘a man down’ in his cell. Deputies found Harding unconscious and under cardiac arrest, and he was rushed to a hospital where he died. The pair had just been put into the same cell together on Saturday night because they had been aggressive to other inmates and staff in separate incidents, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Normally, Gualtieri said, the jail tries to keep violent and nonviolent inmates separate. ‘Single cell space is limited so sometimes that does not happen,’ he said, adding the jail was crowded at the weekend and deputies were forced to move people around. Greenberg is now isolated and under supervision. He has a criminal record dating back to 2001 for drug possession, domestic battery and check fraud. According to the state Department of Corrections, Harding since 1985 had served at least six prison stints for charges including burglary, drug possession and carrying a concealed firearm. The jail handles around 3,000 inmates per day. So if they were aggressive to other inmates…what did they think was going to happen?

Black Missouri Man Taunted With Racism At His Workplace A Missouri man is putting the prejudice actions of his annonymous peers on blast after receiving blatant racist taunting at his workplace following the acquittal of child murdered George Zimmerman. via Huffington Post A Missouri man is leveling allegations against an Ohio-based customer service company, claiming he’s dealing with persistent and explicit acts of racism in the workplace. And now, he’s coming forward with the photos to help his case. DeAndre Martin, who works for Convergys in Arnold, Mo., told St. Louis Fox affiliate KTVI that harassing images began appearing on July 11, when he allegedly received a crude drawing depicting a man hanging from a tree at his desk. Then, on July 15, Martin clocked out and went to his car in the company parking lot, only to find the “n-word,” he said, and an image of a noose spray-painted on his car: “You see the N-word and then a big picture of a noose, and that’s a big deal to me,” Martin told the station. “The first time never should have happened, and the second time was over the top. It’s always like a shock and awe but then suddenly anger sets in.” Martin said he brought the images to the attention of Convergys management. In a statement to KTVI, the company said it is taking the matter seriously, and that it is under investigation. According to the Convergys website, the company “values individual differences” and seeks to “[foster] mutual respect and communication” throughout its workforce. Martin said that the harassment was particularly disappointing in light of “current world events,” possibly alluding to the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. “What perfect timing,” Martin observed. People who agreed with this verdict are actually mad and think they have reason for rage?? GTFOH.

Woman Falls To Her Death From Rollercoaster As Her Children Watch In a terribly sad story out of Texas, a mother recently fell to her death from a sky-high roller coaster as her children watched in horror. via NBC News A woman died Friday at Six Flags Over Texas near Dallas while riding the world’s steepest wooden roller coaster, the park confirmed Friday night. Six Flags Over Texas bills the Texas Giant as the world’s steepest wooden roller coaster. The Texas Giant, a 14-story-high, 4,900-feet-long roller coaster that is among the premiere attractions at the park in Arlington, Texas, was closed, the park said in a statement. The park said in its statement that the woman died “on” the ride, but park visitors told NBC 5 of Dallas that they saw her fall from the roller coaster shortly after 6:30 p.m. Nadine Kelley, who had been waiting in line for the ride, told NBC 5 of Dallas that riders who were sitting behind the woman said that “right when they came down off the first bump and hit that first turn, she flew out.” The woman was accompanied by two children, who were “hysterical,” Kelley said. “They were saying that their mother flew out of the car.” “It was sad. It was very sad,” she said. “We kept telling them to let them out because they were hysterical. The daughter and the son said, ‘We have to go get my mom. Mother Arrested For Forcing Child To Take Lewd Pictures According to Mail Online A mother has been arrested after she allegedly forced her young daughter to take freaky photographs of her to send to her inmate fiancé. Jodi Roberts, from Wabash Valley, Indiana, is facing a federal charge of conducting a performance harmful to minors after making her nine-year-old child take naked pictures of her in sexually graphic poses, authorities said. Roberts’ actions were discovered when prison guards opened a letter containing the lewd pictures that was addressed to her fiancé Jeremiah LaMaster last week. Roberts, a gas station cashier, is due to appear in court over the charge but a date has not yet been set. It is not known who is taking care of the nine-year-old girl. Roberts also appears to have a young son. Her 24-year-old fiancé was arrested in May and charged with felony aggravated battery. He was involved in a 45-minute stand-off with police in Terre Haute as they tried to arrest him in May. Lamaster was previously convicted of reckless homicide and is known to police as a repeat offender. He is being held on $100,000 bail at Vigo County Jail and is due in court on July 23.
