And the panel wasted no time getting straight to some controversial topics, bringing up Dylan Farrow’s accusations against Woody Allen and asking for Rosie’s take on them. “I totally believe her,” O’Donnell said simply, citing the 1992 investigation that did NOT result in charges against the director and telling folks to read the documents because: “There was cause to prosecute, but they thought would be too traumatic for the 7-year-old child.” Earlier this week, Barbara Walters defended Allen in a very awkward exchange between View colleagues, one that made the long-time reporter sound like she’s in complete denial. The cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has been forbidden from partying with non-cast members following the epic melee that broke out the other night. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Brawl The VH1 show is so out of control – more so than anything you’ve seen if you watch Love & Hip Hop online this season – that network execs are concerned. Yes, the VH1 brass is actually worried about fighting. It’s that bad! The cast has now been barred from partying while non-cast members are around, due to the potential risk of huge lawsuits if an innocent bystander gets hurt. If a fight breaks out during filming in a public place, as we saw earlier this week (above), we could have another seen like this restaurant opening. One can sort of see their point if you take in the footage. Fists and bottles started flying and several cast members – and non-cast members – were injured. It’s those caught in the crossfire that have producers spooked. As such, the bosses laid down the law to the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars: No more filming parties with regular folks involved. Keep it in the family. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online , that’s proof positive rigth there that this approach is effective. The cast members beat each other up just fine. No need to bring innocent people into the brawls.
The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper admits that he was as shocked as anyone when he saw Rachel Frederickson walk out during Tuesday’s finale. “I was stunned. That would be the word. I mean, we’ve never had a contestant come in at 105 lbs.,” he says in an interview on the Rachael Ray Show. Rachel Frederickson , 24, started the show at 260 lbs. Yes, 260. When she left as a finalist three months ago to work on losing weight at home, she was 150 lbs. Between then and the finale, she lost 45 more. It was the latter that shocked Jillian Michaels and her Biggest Loser trainer counterparts as much as it did longtime fans of the popular NBC competition. “What people don’t understand is, when the contestants leave to go home … they’re in charge of themselves,” says Harper, 48, of the show’s process. “So, I had not seen her until that night, and so when she walked out, I was just kind of like, whoa. And I’ve been on the show since the beginning, forever.” Frederickson, who has faced major scrutiny this week, worked on the show with trainer Dolvett Quince, who wrote in a Facebook message Wednesday: “Please try not to look at one slice of Rachel’s journey and come to broad conclusions. Rachel’s health is and always has been my main concern.” “Her journey to good health has not yet ended!” Quince added. Many critics of the show say she is too skinny at 5’4″ and 105 lbs. Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. The occasion? That magical moment when Punxsutawney Phil emerges from Gobbler’s Knob, and with the help of his handlers, answers the million-dollar question: Will we have to endure six more weeks of snow, wind, ice cold before spring arrives? Or will our reprieve come sooner? Only Phil and his shadow can say with clarity. And he has done so, just moments ago. The verdict: SHADOW! Winter will continue! Punxsutawney Phil , who emerged from his burrow moments ago to find conditions just bright enough to spot a shadow in Western Pa., has officially spoken. The appearance of Phil’s shadow means winter will extend six more weeks, according to folklore. Had Phil seen his shadow, it would have come sooner. He has now seen his shadow an even 100 times and not seen it just 17 times since 1887 (the math is off due to years of missing records, apparently). So will the great prognosticator be vindicated by a February/March that match his outlook, unlike the “early spring” debacle that got him sued last year? Debatable at best. But the accuracy of the venerable rodent meteorologist’s prediction is secondary, of course, to the real purpose of Groundhog Day. It’s basically just a silly excuse to get out in the elements and submit to the wondrous power, mystery and majesty of nature (or just stay up all night drinking). It is finally official. Following months of speculation and rumors, Bobbi Kristina Brown confirmed online last night: she is married to Nick Gordon. The 20-year old daughter of Whitney Houston relayed the exciting news via a Twitter photo and caption, the former of which depicted her and Gordon’s newly-ringed hands and the latter of which read: “#HappilyMarried. SO #Inlove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.” Rumors of an engagement between Brown and Gordon have been rampant for awhile. There has been plenty of controversy around the couple as well, considering Gordon was raised by Houston and served as Bobbi’s quasi brother for many years during their formative teenage years. But Bobbi has defended the romance on Twitter, writing in the past that she and Nick are not “real brother and sister, nor is he my adoptive brother. “My mom never adopted him. In fact, mommy was the one who even said that she knew that we were going to start dating.” In November, Brown referred to Gordon as her “hubby,” but this is far more formal of a confirmation that they are actually Man and Wife.
