It’s been quite the week on Bethenny for staged events producers hope will boost the show’s sagging ratings . First, Farrah Abraham got into it with an audience member who questioned her parenting skills. And today, former Apprentice star and current pastor Omarosa stopped by the program because, according to Frankel, she likes “talking to controversial people” and she’s “intrigued by human behavior.” This led to a heated exchange in which Omarosa talked down to Bethenny, told the host to “walk in her own truth,” and questioned whether the talk show would still be around in a year. Joe Jonas Slams Drug Allegations as "Ridiculous"

Yes, The Jonas Brothers have split . The group made that official yesterday and then appeared as a united front today on Good Morning America , with each sibling explaining his side and all agreeing it was simply time to move on. But, no, Joe Jonas insists: the band did not break up because of his substance abuse problem. “It’s ridiculous!” Joe tells People of talk that he’s hooked on hardcore drugs, adding sarcastically: “We’re not saying anything for two or three weeks and I’m a drug addict!” Talk of Joe making like Lamar Odom surfaced earlier this month after he was photographed in Los Angeles with a sober coach. Moreover, and most irritating, girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler was also dragged into the chatter. “It’s obviously not true. I’ve never touched heroin in my life. Neither has my girlfriend,” Jonas says. “It’s hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. It pissed me off when it’s about my girl and even about myself.” The Jonas Brothers Break Up Joe says he “needed time to clear my head” and that’s why he didn’t shoot down this rumor the instant it sprang up. But he has done so now, his brothers have made their break-up announcement and it’s time to look ahead to a future that may include a solo career and/or an acting career. “I’m genuinely excited,” Joe says.

Joe Jonas Sex Tape Rumor: Debunked!

We’re very sorry, ladies. But a rep for Joe Jonas has come out and shot down talk of a sex tape between his client and girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler. “There is no truth or validity to this story,” Jonas’ rep tells E! News. “It is completely false.” A website had reported that a camera filmed the couple going at it in a Buenos Aires hotel room at some point in the recent past. Hard. Alcohol, marijuana and sex toys were supposedly involved in the act and Eggenschwiler supposedly orchestrated the tape in order to boost her modeling career. First, Ryan Gosling takes a break from acting. And now this rumor is debunked. Again, we apologize, ladies.

Advocacy Group to Music Fans: Free Justin Bieber!

Attention, Beliebers: Justin Bieber, and free speech advocates everywhere, need your help. The 17-year old star is at the center of a campaign – aptly titled Free Justin Bieber – initiated by Fight for the Future, a fair-use advocacy group that’s urging citizens to vote against congressional law S.978. What the heck is congressional law S.978? It’s a rule that would make it illegal for individuals to stream/use copyrighted music in an online video. And where does Bieber come into this debate? He was discovered by Usher via a homemade YouTube video of himself covering a handful of R&B hits. If this law is passed, such an act might result in a prison stint. Instead of a record deal. “Tell Congress to get a clue and stop trying to jail people for singing,” the organization says in a statement, asking folks to sign its online petition. “Congress has no business making ordinary Internet users criminals for expressing themselves online.” Seriously. Under this law, five-year old Sophia Grace Brownlee would be a criminal.

Joe Jonas Album Sales: Catastrophic!

We hate to say it, but the facts speak for themselves: the solo career of Joe Jonas is off to an abysmal start. In its first week of sales, Joe’s first-ever solo album, “Fastlife,” sold just 18,000 copies, landing him in 15th place on the Billboard 200. By comparison, the last CD Jonas compiled with his brothers, “A Little Bit Longer,” moved 525,000 copies in the same time period. Ouch. Joe Jonas Covers Chris Brown Nick Jonas , meanwhile, also jumped into a solo career last year (with his band, The Administration, that is) and sold 82,000 copies of “Who I Am.” Double ouch. “Transforming a charmed teenhood career into a viable adult one is possibly one of the entertainment industry’s most difficult feats,” wrote Julianne Escobedo Shepherd in Billboard last week. “For every Justin Timberlake, there are 10 former boy-band members whose post-group disinterest led them to hang up their hats.” Can Joe rebound from this rough opening week? It would be exciting enough news under any conditions, but now we have this possibility to consider: might he be singing about Taylor Swift? Those two might get back together . Joe Jonas – Just in Love “I am very excited to premiere my new single ‘Just In Love’ for you guys,” Joe wrote on his website today. “This is a song I wrote when I was going through a relationship with somebody. She was arguing with me, and all I could do was say ‘Listen, I love you, but we don’t need to go through this.’ So, this this is called ‘Just In Love.'” What do you think?

Joe Jonas played an acoustic set in Los Angeles yesterday, and the crowd when gaga for the singer. In return, he went Gaga for his fans! In promotion of his upcoming solo album, Jonas helped open a new Microsoft store at the Westfield Century City with a live set of music. He did so by covering “Edge of Glory,” a rendition that earned Joe the following Tweet from the Lady herself: Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory.
