” The Daily Beast can now describe ” the John Edwards sex tape “in detail, based on accounts from multiple people who have watched it….” Good morning! Let’s just get right to it: On the video, both participants are naked. Hunter is propped up against the hotel bed headboard, with John Edwards belly-down on the bed between her legs. As Hunter, the campaign’s official videographer, holds the camera, a smiling Edwards performs oral sex. Because of the camera angle, Hunter’s face is not visible, but her distinctive jewelry is. Not only does candidate Edwards know he’s being filmed, one source says, he’s also clowning around and “graphically performing for the camera.” There you go. Oh, another important detail: one of the Daily Beast ‘s sources who watched the video has “a medical background and has worked with pregnant patients” (maybe this is the same source who said the president might be on Provigil! ) and this source says Rielle Hunter appears to be four or five months pregnant, which would date the video to September or October of 2007. Because Rielle Hunter is suing Andrew Young to regain possession of this video, Young will now force Hunter and Edwards himself to sit for depositions, which will be wonderfully embarrassing. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Edwards is sending Andrew Young very mean emails. She says she will definitely live long enough to sue him and win. And then there is this: Andrew Young actually turned over more items than the court order demanded. Included in the stash were eight photographs, the video sex tape, copies of the tape, a Hunter document entitled “The Slut Club,” and other items. “The Slut Club” is apparently a list of 34 men’s names that Rielle wrote at some point for some reason. The Washington Post had some details last night , but we’ve now gone through the whole thing . Hunter thought Edwards was “reckless” to stay in the presidential race . But here are some highlights, in her own words. The reporter, Lisa Depaulo, even got to sleep over: “the three of us (she, Quinn, and I) would have to share the one bathroom, where the tub is filled with her daughter’s rubber duckies.” Here’s what she got out of the apparently very quotable Hunter. Whose nickname for Edwards is ‘Johnny’: I mean, just for starters, I never “hit on” Johnny. I’m not a predator, I’m not a gold digger, I’m not the stalker. I had this thing in my head like a lot of women, where you want your man to stand up on a cliff and scream, “I LOVE HER.” You know, the knight in shining armor. And that wasn’t what was going on. I know he loves me. […]I believe that will be till death do us part.” On spotting Johnny for the first time: “I said, “I can’t believe that was John Edwards ; he’s so hot. He’s really got it going on.” And I just uttered to him, “You’re so hot.” And he said, “Why, thank you!” And he almost jumped into my arms.” Like, he’s a huge, huge humanitarian. He is very kindhearted and sweet. He’s very honest and truthful.” Everyone talks about how Johnny has fallen from grace. In reality, he’s fallen to grace.” And he kept saying [she mimics his southern drawl], “What are you doin’ over there? Come over here. I can’t even see you. Come closer. I won’t bite you.” I used to make a joke that I could have helped save the world, but I had to sleep with him. You know? According to the National Enquirer, who broke the Edwards love child scandal, he proposed to his mistress on the same day he came clean about paternity. “John dropped the proposal bomb on Rielle shortly before he issued his statement that he was indeed Frances’ father,” a source told the celeb news tabloid. “ Rielle Hunter has been waiting for a proposal for two long years. She deserved to know he wanted to raise their child together, and wanted Rielle in his life.” If this is true, which we highly doubt but can’t officially rule out, you know what’s coming next: The John Edwards Sex Tape II: Honeymoon Suite Style! Andrew Young, the country’s most famous campaign aide turned fall guy turned whistle blower turned absurd sex tape owner, is feeling the heat these days. Young turned over the John Edwards sex tape to a judge, as ordered, but still faces questions about where the tapes were kept and what he did with them. The former Edwards confidant struggled to answer why he said last week that the only copies of the sex tape he had access to were in an Atlanta lockbox. He testified earlier this week that he also had a copy of the tape elsewhere and he recently showed the video to ABC News in preparation for an interview. On top of potential legal action from Edwards’ mistress Rielle Hunter , whose affair with the presidential candidate Young helped hide, Edwards is pissed too. So is his wife. Elizabeth Edwards has threatened to sue him for contributing to the downfall of their marriage, according to a report in the Washington Post. John Edwards whistle-blower Andrew Young with wife Cheri. Young’s attorneys turned over several items, including a tape marked “special” that purportedly shows John Edwards in a sexual encounter with Rielle Hunter. Young personally turned over a copy of the sex tape as well. But questions over whether there are more copies – and whether he tried to sell them – linger. “This is all disturbing to me, and it’s not a comfort to our client,” said Alan Duncan, an attorney for Rielle Hunter, who has said Young invaded her privacy. Conceding he had made some errors in previous sworn statements, Young maintains he has tried his best to detail the location of items Hunter is seeking. “I answered as honestly as I could,” he testified. He said Elizabeth Edwards threatened a lawsuit against him under the North Carolina statute that allows one to sue a third party for contributing to a marriage ending. A jilted spouse typically uses this to seek money from their partner’s lover. “We have powerful people coming at us,” said Young, who vowed to fight to prove he is not a liar (even if he is a proven liar). “Are we scared?
