Jonas Brothers Tease Future Albums, Solo Plans

‘I think it would be cool!’ Kevin Jonas says about making his own album after Nick and Joe’s side projects. By Jocelyn Vena The Jonas Brothers Photo: MTV News The Jonas Brothers aren’t shy about branching out from their sibling trio. Earlier this year, Nick released an album with his side project, Nick Jonas and the Administration . And after teasing that he was working on some solo music , Joe, along with Demi Lovato, released the song “Make a Wave” from the “Oceans” soundtrack. So does that mean Kevin is the next JoBro to go it alone? “I don’t know about that. Possibly,” he told MTV News at Family Day , an annual charity event that raises money for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. “I think it would be cool.” But that doesn’t mean the brothers are going their separate ways. Kevin reiterated what Nick told us back in January: “As the Jonas Brothers, we are continuing to make music.” So even if a Kevin solo album doesn’t happen, the guys say they have plenty of new music catalogued for whatever they end up wanting to do next. “We all have been working on lots of music, and … it could really be for anything,” Joe added. “It could be for other artists or it can be for ourselves. … It’s all up in the air. We just love making music, so we just want to be in the studio all the time. “We’ve been in the other room talking about [when we might release the next Jonas Brothers album],” he continued. “For us, we have a big year planned out, [and] that’s definitely in the works. For us, we have a lot of music coming up [for the “Camp Rock 2” soundtrack and the “JONAS” soundtrack]. That in itself is two different records.” As for those albums, and any future JB albums, Nick said the musical style they go with next is something they will be incredibly proud to release. “It’s all music we love, and we’re looking forward to playing,” he said. “[We’re] trying to figure out which fits us best, and then we’ll go in that direction.” What do you want to see the Jonas Brothers do next musically? Demi Lovato on Joe Jonas: What’s Not to Like?

Stepping out with Joe Jonas for the first time as a real couple on the Kids’ Choice Awards red (orange?) carpet, Demi Lovato reflected on a relationship milestone. “We’ve never actually stepped out and held hands until today. You know, in front of people,” the 17-year-old said. “It’s fun though – he’s really special.” Awww. The leading lady of Disney’s Sonny with a Chance added that she and her Camp Rock 2 co-star are not rushing anything, “just having a good time,” Lovato said. While Demi talked about their relationship, Joe recalled their duet on American Idol last week. Asked about whether he was nervous, the Jonas Brother replied: “Not when you’re up there with your best friend. It’s really great.” Awwww! How cute are Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas together? The relationship of Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas was confirmed March 12 during a radio interview with Billy Bush, who inquired “so you guys went from boyfriend-girlfriend to best friends?”, only to have Demi say “No, kind of the opposite.” The rest, as they say, is 17 days of blissful romantic history. “He’s a great guy and you can’t always genuinely say that about guys in the limelight,” Lovato said last night. “I can count on him. He’s a great friend and has always been there for me. And he and his brothers make great music! What’s not to like?” Besides that he won’t put out? Not a whole lot .

Demi Lovato And Joe Jonas Give Their First Interview As A Couple

‘The feelings were always there,’ Lovato tells Ryan Seacrest. By Jean Bentley Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato Photo: Kevin Mazur/VF1/WireImage Fresh off their performance of “Make a Wave” on “American Idol” Wednesday night, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas gave Ryan Seacrest their first joint interview as a couple on the “Idol” host’s radio show. Of course, Seacrest asked the question on everybody’s minds: “Joe, who made your suit?” He was kidding, obviously. (But the answer was Gucci, in case you were wondering.) He actually wanted to know about reports that the couple had officially started dating. “We’ve been best friends for the longest time, and now we’re just kind of taking the next step, and it’s been really fun,” Jonas said. “And we’re having a great time.” Lovato told Seacrest, “I think being best friends for a while, over time feelings grow. I think for me, as much as I wanted to deny it, the feelings were always there.” “I think it kind of shifted over, like, probably a month ago,” Jonas said about their platonic relationship turning romantic. “I think we’ve always kind of figured that one day it would happen, but we didn’t feel like it was the right time.” Lest you think the relationship is a publicity stunt for their new Disney Channel movie, “Camp Rock 2” (out later this year), Jonas and Lovato lovingly gazed into each other’s eyes and smiled as Seacrest asked them questions about their budding love. Check their banter when Seacrest asked if the couple was nervous before their “Idol” performance last night. Seacrest said he couldn’t even finish their intro because the crowd was screaming so loud: “We were looking at each other, and I said, ‘Are you nervous?’ ” Jonas recalled. “And she was like, ‘Yeah.’ And she was like, ‘Are you nervous?’ And I was like, ‘Um, no,’ trying to play it cool.” “I could totally tell you were nervous,” Lovato laughed. “Yeah, I know,” he said. In addition to mocking the distinct laughs of Lovato and one of the show’s producers, Seacrest asked Jonas if he could take the time to clear up a rumor making the rounds on Twitter that the JoBro allegedly got a rope burn while working out. “Rope burn?” Jonas asked. “I work out on the beach. My trainer, we go to the Santa Monica Pier where they have the rings and all that, but I’ve never tweeted about rope burn. … I can clarify. I mean, I have really dry skin. Maybe that’s what it is. I don’t moisturize enough, I guess.” What do you think about the new couple? Did you like their performance on “Idol”? Let us know in the comments!
