What can we expect from the fab four on the back half of Teen Mom 2 Season 5, which makes a long-awaited return on MTV tomorrow night (July 16)? Clearly, they have a lot on their respective plates. Because of the lag in production time and the quasi-celebrity status of the cast, we already know much of what we’ll see when we watch Teen Mom 2 . Not everything, though. Here’s what’s to come … Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Trailer (Part 2) For Jenelle Evans, perhaps the most famous, or infamous, Teen Mom still on MTV (sorry Farrah Abraham ), this season will show her trying motherhood. The North Carolina student is also the mother of four-year-old Jace, but she hasn’t had custody of him in forever. Now, she’s going to welcome #2. Having given birth June 29 to baby boy Kaiser with Nathan Griffith – an ex-Marine who she says deserves a “greatest dad award” – Jenelle Evans ‘ life is in flux. In a good way, we hope. Rumor has it Nathan will propose … soon. For Leah Messer Calvert, her marriage has hit even more snags. With her pipeline engineer husband and dad of Adalynn, 17 months, working out of state, “I wouldn’t hear from him for a couple days,” she says. Counseling has remedied that, but she’s also got 4-year-olds Aliannah and Aleeah (with ex Corey Simms) to contend with. How’s it all going? “This is the relationship we’re supposed to have,” she says. We can only hope that’s true, as Leah has the most responsibilities of any of the four by far. To take nothing away from Kailyn Lowry, of course. After countless custody fights, Kailyn – now married with a second child by Javi Marroquin – and baby daddy Jo Rivera have finally struck a peace deal. “We make our own rules as we go,” Lowry says of that situation. Often, in a contentious relationship, that’s as good as it gets. She’s not happy in her marriage to Javi, however. Adjusting to life with Lincoln, 8 months, “was a struggle,” though she still thinks a “rhythm that works” is attainable. Finally, there’s Chelsea Houska, who swears she is never, ever getting back with Adam Lind, who will remain a thorn in her side for the rest of his life. Whatever their relationship status, he has a way of making her life worse … although she’s got a good job and is into CrossFit now, so there’s that. This week on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry finally tied the knot and Chelsea Houska graduated from beauty school, but obviously Jenelle Evans made the headlines. Getting arrested for failing a drug test will typically do that. Leah Messer also had a heartbreaking fight with her husband, Jeremy Calvert, making for a memorable Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 10 for all four stars. Jenelle Evans ‘ legal problems ironically took place in an episode where she was headed to court because of prior heroin charges, and cut a deal to avoid jail. Nathan Griffith had a feeling something might have been amiss, though, and not just because Courtland Rogers shows up creeping in the parking lot. Just as Jenelle’s plea deal is accepted, the judge blindsides her with a drug test, which she fails (marijuana) and leaves her shaking win abject terror. Later, Nathan shows up at Jenelle’s mom’s house to share the news that Jenelle has been arrested. Barbara Evans, Jenelle’s mom, is flat out furious. Barbara admits that she’s glad Jenelle went to jail, and warns Nathan that she’ll ruin everyone’s life (his included). At least she didn’t blame him … After 48 hours in jail, the Carolina Hurricane is cut loose to serve eight months of unsupervised probation, so nothing TOO bad came out of this somehow. There’s more drama in store for her, though. When she gets home, she finds that Nathan was talking to another girl on Facebook and starts flipping out, despite his claims that she’s just a friend. It results in a huge fight, despite the fact that Nathan got her flowers, fixed up the house, went to Barbara’s straight from jail, then picked up Jenelle. In the end, Jenelle calms down and seems to realize that his actions didn’t warrant that kind of freak-out. They hug it out and things appear to be okay. Well, relatively speaking of course. With Jenelle Evans, the next big blowup is always just around the corner and there’s no telling what might trigger it. We really hope she can mitigate this. Otherwise … those poor kids. 🙁 The big day is here for Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin. Legally married for a while, they are about to make it official in front of their friends and families. When the moment finally comes, it’s son Isaac who walks Kailyn down the aisle. Now that is about the sweetest thing you’ll see on any show out there. Kailyn and Javi wrote their own vows to each other. During the vows, Isaac asks Kailyn if she’s happy, and she tells him yes. He is just the cutest little guy. She looks gorgeous in her gown and Javi looks great in that tux. We’re happy for them. They even got their first kiss just about perfect. CONGRATULATIONS! Chelsea Houska, in order to graduate from business school, had to complete 600 hours of classes and training. That’s not a small feat for the single mama. In order to celebrate, Chelsea’s adorable daughter Aubree and her mother and father, Mary and Randy Houska, come to watch Chelsea’s graduation. While waiting for her aesthetician license to be approved by the State of South Dakota, Chelsea gets proactive and goes on a job interview, and she gets the job! Way to go, girl! Chelsea starts her new job, Aubree is in daycare full time, and we don’t even have to talk about Adam Lind for a week! This is the best! Leah Messer‘s husband Jeremy Calvert got that lucrative job offer in New Mexico, which would be one thing if he hadn’t turned down another opportunity locally. She knows this, of course, because went through his Facebook messages, which you don’t need Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 10 to tell you is a major no-no. Leah is clearly upset about Jeremy going away for work again, but snooping on him does not help her cause. They’re fighting more than ever, it seems. Later, Jeremy is packing for his job in New Mexico while Leah wrangles her kids. Despite her best efforts, Jeremy leaves for the job, and she is not happy. The world’s most spoiled brat singer showed off a fresh tattoo on Instagram last night, with the official account for British street artist Banksy writing as a caption: “Controversial @justinbieber #banksy.” The tattoo appears to be a version of Banksy’s “Balloon Girl” art work, though it’s missing certain aspects, such a heart-shaped balloon. Banksy, meanwhile, is a mysterious graffiti artist whose pieces have been known for sell for astronomical figures. He refuses to give his real name and will occasionally just show up with an art show in various cities around the world. Medical problems, family court cases, custody battles, and even jail time are factors for her, Leah Messer Calvert, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska. What did we learn last night? Come along for THG’s official +/- recap! Naturally, most of the headlines regarding Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 2 are made by wild child Jenelle Evans, who was feeling down after her abortion. Jenelle is confident that she made the right call to terminate the pregnancy (with Courtland Rogers’ baby) but her pending court case is another story. Her lawyer Dustin advises her not to contact Courtland at all through the duration of her heroin case, which could drag out for months to come. Plus 100 . Leah also worries about the strain of raising her three girls when Jeremy is away for work, which takes up a lot of his time even though it supports them. In mediation, Kailyn’s lawyer advises her to consider offering week-long visits with Jo and Isaac during the summer, to help both with the switch. Jo’s lawyer says because Javi is in the military, they may face may more moves around the U.S. that will affect Isaac’s relationship with his dad. The case is delayed once again, so this was basically filler … except that Kailyn’s anxiety is rising and she doesn’t know how much of it she can take. Justin Bieber has broken his post-arrest silence. Unless you count that really strange comparison to Michal Jackson , that is. The drag-race loving young singer posted a note on Twitter yesterday that referenced the almighty and sought to comfort his fans. It read: YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS. BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL. MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL.” What do you make of this Twitter message? It’s always nice to acknowledge one’s fans, but Justin doesn’t sound especially regret-filled or sorrowful, does he? The singer was pulled over for going about twice the speed limit at 4 a.m. Thursday. He was reportedly drag racing (see below), failed a field sobriety test and gave the officers attitude when they asked him to place his hands on his car. A model named Chantel Jeffries was in the passenger seat alongside The Biebs. Justin was released on $2,500 bond and left the prison to cheers and applause. It’s unclear what he will do now , though many close to the artist are pushing him to attend therapy because they think he needs help for substance abuse and also for just dealing with such fame at a young age. Is there another season of Teen Mom 2 to come after the current fifth season, which just got underway with a bang on MTV last Tuesday? It looks like it. Jenelle Evans , Leah Messer, Kailyn Lowry and Chelsea Houska had already wrapped filming for Teen Mom 2 Season 5, including the reunion show. Production recently resumed, however, for all four of the stars. “Everyone is filming more scenes,” a production insider said. A suspicious Facebook post claimed this week that the pregnant Jenelle Evans was getting a spin-off with baby daddy to be Nathan Griffin, but that has been debunked. “Jenelle isn’t getting a spin off,” the source told Radar . However, “She is filming more scenes but so are all of the rest of the girls. They just don’t really know what it will become, another season or just extra scenes.” On Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 1 , Jenelle – now pregnant by boyfriend Griffith – revealed she aborted husband Courtland Rogers’ baby last winter. Meanwhile, Leah Messer Calvert revealed the heartbreaking news that one of her twins, 4-year-old daughter Aliannah, has a rare form of muscular dystrophy. Kailyn Lowry struggled with her decision to uproot Isaac to be near her husband, while simultaneously grappling with her baby daddy’s views of that particular idea. The new trailer for Teen Mom 2 has finally arrived, at last confirming the existence of the long-rumored and long-delayed fifth season of the MTV reality hit. Spoiler alert: Jenelle Evans and her personal drama are front and center. The four Teen Mom 2 stars are all going through a lot, and tumultuous times lie ahead for each, but Jenelle? She takes things to another level entirely. Teen Mom 2 Trailer: Season 5 Evans was just arrested again for breach of the peace and recently announced she is pregnant with her second child with boyfriend Nathan Griffith. In the Season 5 trailer, it looks like she almost makes the decision to terminate the pregnancy. But is that even her current pregnancy with Nathan? Don’t forget, Teen Mom has perhaps the longest lag between real time and air time of any reality show, and she was also pregnant a year ago. That ended in a miscarriage with estranged husband Courtland Rogers, so it’s possible this is what we’ll be seeing when the show returns in 2014. She and Courtland got married, got pregnant, got into a huge fight, suffered a miscarriage, got back together, and got arrested again … this could be epic. Or maybe the filming is more current and it’s Nathan? The trailer above doesn’t give that away, but they have been filming recently, so it’s possible. Jenelle Evans aside, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer , and Chelsea Houska are dealing with their own struggles in Season 5, and it’s a pretty long list. Second pregnancies (Leah and Kailyn), financial woes, custody battles, weddings, breakups and children with special needs … they have it tough. With the exception of Jenelle, whose son Jace is always on the back burner it seems, the other three have to balance all of that with being parents. These MTV reunion shows are odd in that the information being relayed is far outdated by the time it makes it air. Some concerns are universal and timeless, however. Dr. Drew is also worried about the distance between Leah and Jeremy, who works out of town six days a week, and feels that will take its toll. However, Leah Messer does have a strong co-parenting partner in ex-husband Corey Simms, who is also happily engaged to Miranda Patterson. They both agree they are better as friends and co-parents, and Jeremy and Corey genuinely get along, so if nothing else, that dynamic is working. Even Dr. Drew concedes they are all doing “remarkably” well. Meanwhile, Chelsea Houska admits she is still struggling to raise Aubree by herself as a single mom, and is so tired of all the drama with Adam Lind. She doesn’t think he puts enough effort into co-parenting, only sees Aubree when it’s convenient, yet she still hooks up with him now and then. Totally normal. Chelsea Houska’s dad, Randy, thinks she needs to move on and deserves better, and that the fighting is only going to stop if the two stop hooking up. Interesting theory. For now, she says she’s going to focus on finishing school, and will finally move on from her baby daddy. We will not hold our breath. Last week, Jenelle Evans’ heroin addiction and Kailyn Lowry’s non-stop beefing with Jo Rivera and Vee Torres were the focus of the reunion show. Which Teen Mom 2 star do you think is doing the best? Jenelle Evans came clean last night on MTV’s Teen Mom 2 reunion. The troubled star opened up to Dr. Drew about how her ex Kieffer Delp got her addicted to heroin , and shot her up so much one time, she nearly died. Jenelle said the only reason she got back together with Kieffer is because she felt so alone and rejected after her ex-fiance Gary Head assaulted her. She has a way of exaggerating claims against her exes and blaming everyone else for her problems, but for Jenelle, this was still a major confession. Evans said she desperately turned to Kieffer for support, and in turn he enabled her to do drugs and reportedly got her to try heroin for the first time. “I had never tried it, so I tried it. I was throwing up every five minutes. I was in the hospital three times, you can’t sleep because you are in withdrawal,” she said. Jenelle Evans also said she was in withdrawal for about a month, and broke things off with Kieffer for good, something Dr. Drew was skeptical about. He also disputed whether he used clean needles every time. Yikes. Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans came out and said after witnessing her daughter strung out and living with an addict, she had to do what she needed to do. She had her committed out of fear for 21-year-old little girl’s life. Because of Jenelle’s unstable behavior, she said it would be a while until she lets her have custody, or even more visitation with Jenelle’s son Jace, 3. She can see him Thursday through Sunday, at home. That’s it. Dr. Drew also spoke with Kailyn Lowry , specifically about her baby daddy Jo Rivera‘s girlfriend Vee Torres, and how Kailyn won’t give her much of a chance. Kailyn can’t seem to get past the pot-smoking pics she saw online, and says she wants to “rip Vee’s head off” and has no desire to get to know her. She doesn’t want Vee to be taking care of Isaac, period. Even though Jo Rivera is, by most accounts, a doting and loving dad, and her marriage to Javi Marroquin means they could move across the U.S. When Dr. Drew brought Vee out on the stage, it was the first time they had officially met! Vee said she is studying to be a teacher and is good with kids. Vee actually wants what’s best for Isaac, believe it or not. After Dr. Drew kept asking Kailyn why she doesn’t want to get to know Vee, Lowry stormed off the stage and that was pretty much it. Good times. A day in the life of a Teen Mom 2 star …
