Something happened in the past few years in the Teen Mom universe. Something no one could've seen coming at the onset. Somehow Kailyn Lowry has turn into one of the most controversial cast members, if not the most controversial entirely. It's been pretty wild to watch, honestly. Teen Mom also features a cast of characters like Jenelle Evans, Farrah Abraham, Bristol Palin and Amber Portwood. You get the point. Why hate on Kail?! We couldn't tell you, but people do, for whatever reason. Maybe just because she's so outspoken, strong and successful? In any case, the 26-year-old Boss Mom of Three is brushing it right off her shoulders. 'Cause you know who doesn't hate her? You may be surprised … 1. In the Beginning … They met at college, and after her marriage to Javi Marroquin fell apart, they started hooking up. 3. Well Then And then she got pregnant. 4. Wait… Doesn’t Kailyn Lowry Have a Podcast?!? Yes, it’s called “Coffee Convos” and she co-hosts it with Lindsie Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best. Does this mean Leah is trying to start a rivalry with her fellow MTV personality? 5. No, No, No, Leah Explains We’ll let Messer outline the differences: “Kail’s is day-to-day conversational and ours is more about transforming your life and learning how to become the best version of yourself. The relationship between Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez has seen more than its fair share of ups and downs. Beginning when Lopez dumped Lowry while she was pregnant , Teen Mom 2 obsessives have been fixated on Lux’s parents — which is interesting, as Chris doesn’t even appear on the show. Still, Kail’s comments and her social media interactions with Lopez have offered plenty of grist for the gossip mill. Kail has called Chris a deadbeat dad and accused him of misleading his Instagram followers by posting pics in which it looks as though he’s a part of Lux’s life. For his part, Lopez has accused Lowry of lying to her fans and intentionally misrepresenting him for the sake of creating TV-friendly drama. Yes, at one point, it was a very ugly situation, but remarkably, Kail and Chris have managed to turn their co-parenting relationship around. They may not be besties, but they recently stunned fans when they cordially collaborated on Lux’s first birthday party. Earlier this week, Chris shocked TM2 aficionados once again when he took to Twitter to promote Kail’s latest memoir. “Grab a copy of A Letter of Love if you haven’t, I tried to act like I didn’t want to read it…but I did lol,” Lopez tweeted. “And even though it’s things about me I may not agree with, overall proud of her! [I don’t know] [about] y’all but I don’t know many people that have 4 published books lol.” The man has a point. Unless you used to hit the dive bars of Maine with a young Stephen King, you’ve probably never spent any time with a 26-year-old who’s penned multiple bestsellers. And Chris deserves a good deal of credit for promoting his ex’s latest, because he doesn’t always come off as the greatest guy in this book. “I’ve had my bedroom window broken while the baby was asleep with me in the room,” Lowry writes of a dark time that occurred after one of her many breakups with Lopez. “My back door had been broken while all of my kids were at home, and I’ve had s**t about me told to my children.” Hard to come back from something like that, but it looks like Kail and Chris are doing their best. Of course, this situation will likely lead to more rumors that Lopez and Lowry are back together , but we doubt either of them are too bothered by that. O.J. Simpson knows a thing or two about murder. He also knows a thing or two about being in prison. Considering his depth of knowledge in these areas, The Juice spoke to TMZ on Tuesday about Bill Cosby; his incarceration; and what may happen to the disgraced comedian behind bars. Indeed, Cosby was sentenced up to 10 years in jail yesterday afternoon, months after he was found guilty of drugging and raping a former Temple University employee named Andrea Constand. Cosby was immediately handcuffed and hauled off to prison, according to various news outlets, stopping pretty much just to pose for a very sad mug shot . Sad in terms of how he looked, we mean. Most definitely not sad in terms of the outcome of this case. We hope the rapist never lives freely in society again. Simpson, for his part, is concerned that this hope will become a reality — but not because the 81-year will die from natural causes while in the clink. But because someone will kill Cosby. “The problem is the nature of the crime,” O.J. told TMZ while golfing in Nevada. “Rapists are frowned upon in prison.” For good reason, some might say; which doesn’t mean we’re yearning for some inmate to shank Cosby or anything. It just means this isn’t exactly a problem that seems worth thinking about for any period of time; we’re not about to lose sleep over the fate of Bill Cosby behind bars. But we’re not O.J. Simpson, either. “I’m sure there will be guys protecting him but they’re gonna have to put him in protective custody … because it takes one nut, ya know?” Simpson added. O.J – who spent nine years in jail after being convicted of armed robbery (but zero years in jail for almost definitely murdering his ex-wife and her friend in 1994) – thinks Cosby ought to be placed under house arrest for the duration of his sentence. But won’t this mean he gets to spend time with his loved ones? And enjoy the relative freedom of life inside a mansion, as opposed to life within the confines of a cell and a state penitentiary? Yes, but at least the man who very likely drugged and raped about 60 women will feel safe in that case, Simpson basically argues here. Cosby was convicted in April on three counts of aggravated indecent assault, all stemming from a 2004 incident in which he drugged Constand at his Pennsylvania home and molested her. In a five-page victim statement submitted to the judge, Constand said the following about this assault and its aftermath: “The shame was overwhelming. Self-doubt and confusion kept me from turning to my family or friends as I normally did… “I felt completely alone, unable to trust anyone, including myself… “The psychological, emotional and financial bullying included a slander campaign in the media that left my entire family reeling in shock and disbelief.” But Simpson doesn’t care much about all of that. He’s just concerned about the man who drugged and raped her. “With his health and his age and the nature of the crime, there’s not a warden in this country wants the responsibility of a Bill Cosby,” the former NFL running back told TMZ, concluding: “I think they should let him do his time under house arrest.”
Natalie Suleman is the mother to 14 children. As you can imagine, she has even more trouble than most families when it comes to getting everyone together for a group photo. The results, however, can be pretty darn funny. Take a look at the photo of her minimalist family , and read the (former) Octomom’s explanation for the chaos. Sharing the photo that you’re about to see to Instagram, Natalie Suleman — who no longer uses the names Nadya or Octomom — offers an explanation. “So THIS is what happened when we attempted to take a fun family photo with as many family members as possible,” she writes. In the picture, she is seated with only 11 of her 14 children. “Per usual, Elijah, Amerah, and JJ are absent from the pic,” Suleman explains. She adds: “(growing up I despised taking photos so I understand and don’t force them).” There is a lot of chaotic energy in this photo. With some different arrangements and more dramatic lighting, you’d get a Baroque painting. “Aidan had enough of sitting and threw his head back,” she explains. The result, as you can see, is that his head flew back dramatically, “nearly hitting mine.” “So,” she writes. “This may explain why I look, ummm … startled.” She’s clearly not the only one. Hey, children don’t generally want to sit still for ages. This problem magifies exponentially when you add more children. She also shared this smaller but much less chaotic photo recently. This was from when she sent her octuplets back to school. Like countless other parents, celebrity and otherwise, she snapped and shared a back-to-school photo on social media. Unlike the vast majority of those other parents … she had a lot of children in the photo. But she fit them all into the frame anyway. She’s had a lot of practice, just as she did in this image when she was feeding them all vegan tacos. Even in this image, you can tell that they had to go out of their way to fit into the frame. It’s so reassuring to hear that Suleman gives her children the freedom to opt out of family photos if they want to. (If anyone else has ever been forced to wear a turtleneck for an hour at the age of four for a family photoshoot, and still feels indignation at that memory, you can appreciate her parenting choice) It’s also neat to see that most of her children are more than happy to pose for the photos. And when it’s only the eight of them, things tend to turn out pretty well. At least, they do in the photos that she chooses to upload. We’re sure that she has plenty of outtakes that fans and followers don’t normally get to see. You know what? It’s been years since Suleman stopped being Octomom , and we have to say that she seems to be doing well. We’re so sorry that she got so much negative feedback over supporting her family by stripping. There is nothing wrong with sex work, and she should never have been shamed for it. Sometimes, when people become famous, they just can’t handle it. Suleman is an example of that, but she seems to have adjusted to things. Her focus is on her fourteen children. Perhaps no participant in the 16 and Pregnant / Teen Mom franchise has been as candid and forthright with viewers as Kailyn Lowry. On TV, on social media, and in a series of bestselling books, Lowry has laid her life bare and shared all with her legion of loyal fans. But even Kail has her limits with regard to what sort of private information she can comfortably make public — and it seems she reached her breaking point during her relationship with Chris Lopez. Lowry became pregnant with her third child while dating Lopez, and for a time, she attempted to keep both the pregnancy and the relationship under wraps. Obviously, this strategy wasn’t effective for very long, and soon, Kail found that one of the most challenging periods in her life was playing out on a public stage. Now, Kail is opening about that chapter in her life like never before in her new memoir, Letters of Love: In an exclusive excerpt obtained by Radar Online, Kail reveals that she and Lopez worked hard to make the relationship work for the sake of their son, Lux: “We tried to get back together and work things out, but it only lasted about a month,” Lowry writes . “After that time of being together, we didn’t speak for a period of eight months.” Lowry goes on to describe a difficult time post-breakup, during which Lopez “hurt [her] in so many ways.” “I’ve had my bedroom window broken while the baby was asleep with me in the room,” Lowry writes. “My backdoor had been broken while all of my kids were at home” According to Kail, all of this happened during the first six weeks of Lux’s life, a time during which Lopez also got into the habit of trashing her on social media: “I’ve had sh-t said about me told to my children,” she writes. “I don’t care if the kid is six weeks old or six years old, a dad should not talk about the mother of his child.” While the relationship between Lowry and Lopez seems to have improved in recent weeks, Kail says there was a time when Chris simply refused to be a father: “I’ve been left to take care of everything,” she writes. “I kind of knew this would be a possibility but I guess I just wanted to be proved wrong. Because I can be totally responsible for our child doesn’t mean that I should take care of everything.” Fortunately, Kail and Chris seem to have worked out a co-parenting relationship that works for both parties. The pair recently collaborated on Lux’s first birthday party , and they seem to have ceased trash-talking each other on social media. Thus far, Chris hasn’t commented on Kail’s book, but we’re assuming he won’t be offering up a rave review. After all, this is the same guy who burned Lowry’s last book . On Monday, we reported that Kailyn Lowry attended the wedding of Jo Rivera and Vee Torres over the weekend. Kail's attendance signaled to many that she's matured to the point that she's able to put the past behind her and form a meaningful friendship with her ex, much to the benefit of the son they share. Sadly, a handful of bigoted morons had to rain on the parade by attacking Kail for bringing Becky Hayter as her wedding date. Fortunately, Kail's not the kind to take such abuse lying down … 1. The Wedding Guests Kail brought her longtime friend Becky as her date to the wedding, and while there’s nothing remotely unusual about that move, she’s received an appalling amount of criticism as a result. 2. A Fine Time Kail and Becky seem to have had a wonderful time, and it looks as though all in attendance were genuinely happy for the bride and groom. So naturally, the worst people on the internet had to come along and spoil it. 3. Nothing But Love Kail even took to Twitter to thank Becky for joining her on what was no doubt a very emotional day. 4. Kailyn Lowry is nothing if not candid in her new book. Titled “Letters of Love,” Lowry has said she penned this memoir with her three sons in mind. Pardon the obvious pun, but the Teen Mom 2 star has said she wanted to be an open book with these kids, explaining to them how her life took such unexpected twists and turns and how she's almost apologetic for how they got caught up in it sometimes. At the end of the day, of course, Kailyn wouldn't change a thing because she is now the mother of three amazing children due to her various decisions and relationships. But she actually writes at one point that she came close to being the (everyday) mother of just two children. Huh? How so? Meaning what, exactly? Below, Lowry details the thoughts and fears she had while pregnant with Lincoln and how everything for her would have been EXTREMELY different if she had given into the latter back in the day… 1. A Quick Plug This is the cover of Kailyn’s book, which is available for preorder. She has dedicated it to her three kids: Isaac, Lincoln and Lux. 2. Here They Are! Lowry shares Issac with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera; Lincoln with ex-husband Javi Marroquin; and Lux with on-again/off-again boyfriend Chris Lopez. 3. She Loved Isaac From the Very Beginning It didn’t work out with Rivera, but Kailyn writes in her book how she was excited to be a first-time mother and how she fell in love with Isaac the instant he was created. 4. But What About Lincoln? It was a little different the second time around, she admits. “I never thought I could love another person as much as I loved Issac,” she explains at one point. 5. How Can Anything Measure Up? “I didn’t believe that I had the capacity to love the same way,” she continues. “I was so afraid that I couldn’t be the mother to Linc that I was to Isaac.” 6. Kailyn Lowry has always been open about her feelings … super, super open. And now, in her upcoming book, she's being more open than ever. In some new excerpts from the book, titled A Letter of Love, she writes about her relationship with Javi Marroquin, and how it's evolved over the years. Let's just say that this girl is holding nothing back … 1. These Crazy Kids Have Kailyn and Javi ever just had a calm, non-dramatic relationship? No, right? 2. A Romance for the Ages They met in 2011, when Javi kept creeping on her while she worked in the mall, and things just gotten crazier and crazier since then. 3. Moving Fast They got married in September of 2012, and just over a year later, their son, Lincoln, was born. 4. Not So Great Things were never really good between them, or at least they weren’t on Teen Mom 2. He seemed a little too controlling, and they just never really seemed to have fun together much at all. 5. So Sad In 2015, she got pregnant again, but she ended up having a miscarriage, and in his grief, he blamed her for it. 6. The man who allegedly sold Demi Lovato the drugs that nearly ended her life has actually stopped on the sidewalk and given an interview. And he’s talked rather openly about the entire situation as well. Over the past week or so, reports have identified Brandon Johnson as the dealer with whom Lovato had supposedly worked since April. The two had developement a pretty close relationship that some outlets even claimed cross over from professional… to plutonic… to sexual. Jacobs had just recently gotten arrested prior to meeting Demi — and has been under fire (even more fire than comes the way of most drug dealers, that is) because there’s a rumor floating around that Lovato took tainted drugs . This is to say, Demi may have been unaware that the substance she was given had been laced with fentanyl. Was this the case , TMZ asked Johnson when the website grabbed a few moments with him over the weekend? No , the drug dealer replied . The artist “100% she knew what she was taking,” Johnson tells TMZ, adding: “I disclosed to her that these were not pharmaceutical. There were after market drugs, they were much stronger. She understood fully.” Johnson would very obviously be an example of the kind of toxic acquiantance that Demi let into her life since she fell off the wagon this past spring. He says the two had a “flirty friendship” that did, at times, becomes a “sexual” relationship and that they occasionally “messed around.” Why did she text him at 4 a.m. the night of July 23, after going out with some friends to celebrate a birthday and then going back to her home with a select few of them? “Cause she’s a girl and she wanted to kick it,” he said. What did he and Lovato during at this late hour? “We hung out. We watched our detective shows as usual… she sometimes has such long days, stressful hours and a stressful job” and she needs to relax. Johnson admitted that he and Demi also took drugs together, but he didn’t get into any specifics and he claimed to not even have known what the drugs were mixed with. Moreover, Lovato was a “little drunk” when he showed up, this shady individual confirms, but he tucked her in and left around 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. after she appears to be safely in bed, asleep. “I’m not here to hurt anybody. I care for her very much,” the drug dealer told TMZ, concluding: “I care for her a lot. I hope she comes through this better than she was before she got into it.” Last we heard, Lovato was doing pretty well in rehab . She is at an undisclosed location and she will remain there for an extensive period of time; the rest of the year, at minimum, according to various insiders. When she gets out, she’d be wise to continue therapy in some fashion; to rely on her family members and long-term friends; and to never contact anyone such as Johnson ever again. Hang in there, Demi.
