Kansas City Adams Mark Worker Files Complaint After Supervisor “Lynched” Slave Doll In Entrance To Her Office This is just crazy the isht people think they can get away with these days… According to KSHB Kansas City reports : Jaysyn Craddock is a front desk assistant at the Adam’s Mark Hotel. He explained to 41 Action News that he was working on July 21, when his supervisor hung the black doll from the noose and asked him to come and look at it. “So she looked at me and said, ‘Look what I hung up,’ in a giggling way and she asked me, ‘Does this offend you?’ She didn’t say ‘I’m sorry,’ she said ‘Does this offend you?’ And I didn’t say anything. I was just so upset that I went back to helping people and she left it up until the end of the night,” Craddock said. Later, Craddock and some co-workers complained to the front desk manager. “It’s embarrassing. It’s humiliating. Like I felt like that no actions were going to be taken, because our front desk manager spoke to all of us individually and she asked us if we wanted to speak to the person who hung up the doll and we all said yes. She said something to us individually; but she said after you speak with my supervisor, I don’t want to hear anything about it,” Craddock added. Adams Mark Hotel later fired the supervisor. A statement from the hotel said the supervisor “hung a slave doll using a plastic bag as a noose and displayed the doll in an employee common area.” A photo of the doll has been circulating on social media sites since July 22, according to the attorney. Craddock’s attorneys have filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. If the EEOC gives them the green light, Craddock’s attorneys will be able to sue the Adam’s Mark Hotel for harassment. The hotel has since released the following statement: “This isolated incident is completely inconsistent with the values and culture of the Adam’s Mark Hotel Kansas City. This disturbing occurrence took place late Tuesday evening, July 21st. When brought to the attention of management the following day, an investigation was initiated. Immediately following the investigation, the employee was terminated, Friday, July 24th, prior to the start of their next shift. The Adam’s Mark Kansas City is committed to maintaining a positive working environment free of unlawful harassment.” Do you think he should sue the hotel? This is so crazy, the last place anyone should have to deal with this kind of bs is at work. Instagram

Caitlyn Jenner Opens Up On Rejecting Eldest Daughter Caitlyn Jenner is embracing the whole truth , and letting all Bruce’s old demons fly in her Vanity Fair article. After opening up on the real about Bruce’s marriage to Kris Jenner , she’s now giving details on how he initially rejected his first born daughter in the midst of a rocky divorce and gender issues . Via MailOnline : Bruce Jenner wanted to abort his eldest daughter and was not present for her birth. The revelation came as the former Olympian introduced his female identity, Caitlyn, on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. The star’s daughter Casey, 34, told the publication that she did not find out her father didn’t want her until she was 13. ‘I never knew he wasn’t at my birth until I was about 13 years old and we were arguing on the phone about money,’ she told the magazine. ‘He kept saying, “You don’t know the whole story”.’I hung up the phone and was asking my mom what he was talking about until she confessed the history behind my birth.’ Bruce Jenner was married to his first wife to Chrystie Crownover from 1972 to 1981, with whom he had two children, Burton and Cassandra. But in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair, Jenner recalls that the couple found out Chrystie was pregnant halfway through their divorce. Jenner brought up the idea of abortion but ‘rejected it after 30 seconds’. When Casey eventually did arrive on June 10, 1980, Jenner was in a hotel room in Kansas City, crying. ‘Under the circumstances I could not even see myself being there,’ Jenner told the mag. But now, as Caitlyn, the former olympian and his eldest daughter get along great: But following the transformation, Caitlyn now talks to her eldest daughter more than ever. ‘I was worried I wouldn’t say the right things or act the right way or seem relaxed,’ Jenner told Vanity Fair. But as soon a Casey realized how happy her father had become, they both became at ease. ‘We talked more than we ever have,’ Jenner said. ‘We could just be girls together.’ This is a LOT of personal business getting spilled here. Who else smells a tell-all/memoir in the works??
Black folks are tired of having to go above and beyond to be accepted in something we earn and deserve, like Sydney Leroux. She is only second to the great Abby Wambach in goals scored for the last few years… So why is she not a shoe in to start this summer in the World Cup? Starting with Coach Jill Ellis, the U.S. Women’s World Cup squad will have a distinctive mid-Atlantic flavor. Six weeks before the roster deadline, the British-born but Virginia-raised Ellis on Tuesday settled on her 23-player team that will head to Canada this summer in pursuit of its first global title since 1999. The squad includes two members of the Washington Spirit pro club, two University of Virginia Cavaliers and a former locally based scoring ace. Ellis, in charge since last spring, is a graduate of Fairfax County’s Robinson Secondary School and William and Mary, and was a college assistant at Maryland and Virginia. Right back Ali Krieger and backup goalkeeper Ashlyn Harris play locally for the Spirit in the National Women’s Soccer League. Krieger, who started at the 2011 World Cup in Germany, has deep local ties: She embraced the sport in Prince William Soccer, a youth club, and starred at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge. In spring 2003, she was The Post’s All-Met player of the year. “I’m very honored and privileged to represent my country as a member of this incredible group of footballers,” Krieger said. “We are well-prepared, motivated, determined and ready to succeed.” Defender Becky Sauerbrunn and midfielder Morgan Brian came from the elite U-Va. program. Sauerbrunn, 29, also played for the Washington Freedom in the WPS, the NWSL’s predecessor. At 22, Brian is the youngest member of the U.S. squad. In both 2013 and ’14, she won the Hermann Trophy as the nation’s best collegiate player. Krieger, Brian and Sauerbrunn are expected to start for the Americans, who lost to Japan in the 2011 final and are No. 2 behind Germany in the current FIFA rankings. Krieger, 30, is recovering from a concussion, her second in less than two years, suffered in last Friday’s season debut in Houston. She is doubtful for the Spirit’s home opener this Saturday night against defending champion FC Kansas City at Maryland SoccerPlex. The core of the U.S. squad remains in place: goalkeeper Hope Solo, defender Christie Rampone, midfielders Carli Lloyd, Megan Rapinoe and Lauren Holiday, and forwards Alex Morgan and Abby Wambach. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/soccer-insider/wp/2015/04/14/u-s-womens-world-cup-soccer-squad-announced/ Amy Rodriguez, who resembles Genie from House of Lies, is fighting for the position along with Sydney Leroux… But a girl that is a guarantee… Mainly because of her looks, is Alex Morgan. Alex is a great player… No doubt… But no greater than Sydney Leroux.

Republican Congressman Says President Obama Plans To Make All Black People Immune To Criminal Prosecution A Republican congressman from Kansas is stirring the political pot with his recent comments regarding the way President Obama is responding to the problem of racist policing of African-Americans in the United States. via Think Progress As reported by Right Wing Watch, Kansas’ Secretary of State Kris Kobach (R) told listeners of his radio show that President Obama could absolve black people of all crimes and refuse to prosecute them in the future. He also implied that Attorney General Eric Holder is a reverse racist for not applying civil rights laws to white people. During the weekly show, a caller named Stu postulated that Obama may announce in the future that a “black person accused of a crime, charged with a crime, is not going to be prosecuted, regardless of the crime,” based on his recent immigration action. He also argued that the government is already in the process of doing so, since Holder did not prosecute Black Panthers. Kobach didn’t dispute the claims, saying, “Well, it’s already happened more or less in the case of civil rights laws. I guess it’s not a huge jump. I think it’s unlikely, but you know I’ve learned to say with this president, never say never.” He also claimed that Holder “basically made it clear….that the civil rights laws were only to protect minority races, and he was not going to be enforcing them to the benefit of white people who were discriminated against on the basis of their race.” So, to be clear, pursuing legislation that would make the way black people are policed in America equal to the way white people are policed in America is unjust, and we all should also be fighting for the civil rights of privileged white people while we work towards equal rights for all. Got it, Mr. Congressman. SMH.
