There are a lot of people who hate the name, and also just a lot of people who will hate any name KimYe chooses just because it’s them, so it’s expected for the couple to receive backlash after their choice. Kim K’s longtime friend LaLa Anthony was quick to send her buddy some congratulations and love following the announcement, saying the name is epic and the baby is already a legend for it. And of course, because it’s Twitter, somebody had something to say about LaLa’s congratulatory tweet to her friend. Epic name!!! For a woman who was just delivered a serious blow in her court battle against the Kardashians, Blac Chyna seems to be in astonishingly good spirits. She’s vowing to keep fighting after her huge setback. But she’s also congratulating Kim and Kanye on the birth of their third child , calling the baby girl a “blessing.” You didn’t miss Kim Kardashian’s new, bizarre baby’s name , right? Kimye’s youngest daughter’s name is Chicago West. ( Chicago West sounds like the name of a fashion line or perhaps like Carmen Sandiego’s apprentice, so … it’s fine) Before the news of the baby girl’s name even broke, The Blast caught up to Blac Chyna and asked what she thought of Kim’s third child being born. Chyna replied: “It’s always a blessing. They deserve blessings.” Some may find it surprising that Chyna could be so chipper about the Kardashians, considering recent developments. So, you know how Blac Chyna is suing the entire Kardashian clan ? She claims that they used their influence to sabotage her reality career when it had scarcely begun, effectively blacklisting her at E! If true, this would mean that the Kardashians cost her not only the money she would have earned through reality TV income, but cash from merchandising and endorsements and appearances. Which is why she’s suing. The Kardashians argue that they didn’t maliciously undercut her career — that she missed out on work because she refused to film scenes with Rob, and even got a restraining order against him. Blac Chyna reportedly hates that argument, and countered that she shouldn’t have lost her job over her fear of Rob . Well, RadarOnline reports that Blac Chyna’s lawsuit against the Kardashians saw a major setback. ““Chyna lost today,” their source claims. “But it is a temporary situation. Chyna is going to fight back.” That’s no surprise. Chyna’s a fighter, clearly. “She is going to go back and try again and try and convince the judge of his error.” What error, you ask? Reportedly, the judge in the case indicated that he’s going to remove both Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner from the lawsuit. This weakens Blac Chyna’s case, we imagine, in two ways. One, because Kris and Kim have deep pockets, and if they’re not the targets of her lawsuit, she can’t be awarded damages directly from them. Two, and we’re just guessing (not legal experts), but one imagines that Blac Chyna will have a harder time arguing that, say, Rob pulled some carefully crafted scheme to sabotage her reality career. Rob is … well, Rob. He’s not exactly an evil genius. But apparently Blac Chyna stands fully poised to convince the judge that Kim and Kris do belong within the scope of her lawsuit. Failing though, though, she’s said to be prepared to amend her lawsuit in such a way that she can still win. Still, though Blac Chyna’s called the Kardashians all sorts of nasty things during the course of her falling out with the family and these legal fights, it’s not a surprise that she’s speaking pleasantly about Chicago’s birth. Earlier this week, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child . The baby girl was delivered via surrogate , so Kim won’t have to put in the usual effort to regain her “pre-baby body.” But that’s not stopping her from showing the world what kind of shape she’s in. We have no way of knowing when this pic was taken, but we like to think it was last night and that Kim was wearing that look of smug superiority because she knew she was about to drop an internet-breaking bombshell the next morning. In case you somehow haven’t heard, Kim revealed the name of her youngest daughter via her subscription-based app today. Within minutes of the announcement, ” Chicago West ” became a top-trending topic on Twitter. Yes, these days, there’s such a constant torrent of Kardashian news that Kim posing totally nude is barely a blip on her fans’ radar screens. As usual, Kim received a lot of compliments for her pic … and a whole lot of criticism. “You know your a mom right?” wrote one grammatically-challenged paragon of parenting. “Ok Kim it’s time for that to stop you have three beautiful kids now leave something to the imagination only your husband should be seeing you like that,” commented one stalwart Puritan who follows Kim Kardashian on Instagram for some reason. “Yes this is totally what all moms of newborns are doing with their time,” remarked one follower who is apparently unaware that Kim is very rich, and got that way by doing exactly this. Kim has been in the spotlight for more than a decade, and yet somehow, people who are interested enough in her life to follow her on social media are unaware that she enjoys occasionally posting a risqué photo. Even more mysterious is the fact that they feel the need to fill her in on details of her own life, such as the fact that she’s a mother of three. Kim has never been accused of neglecting or mistreating her children. In fact, those who know her best say she’s an incredibly devoted mom. And yet, when she chooses to show a little skin, she invariably gets slammed by people who apparently think they’re living superior lives. Jenelle Evans sure can pick ’em. While fans wonder if Jenelle Evans and David Eason had a secret breakup , one of Jenelle’s exes with a troubled legal history has gotten remarried. Hint: it’s the ex who referred to Jenelle as a “hurricane.” And Courtland Rogers’ new wife is pregnant. What advice, we wonder, would Jenelle give Lindsey Frazier? Jenelle Evans is … well, she’s not many people’s favorite Teen Mom star. Jenelle’s custody battle with Nathan Griffith goes further than just nasty Twitter squabbles . Both have accused the other of abusing their son, Kaiser. No matter who’s right, that poor boy deserves better. In fact, accusations of abuse seem intensely common around Jenelle. Her current husband, David Eason, being only the latest. It’s difficult to think of adults in Jenelle’s story who haven’t faced accusations of these serious and unforgivable offenses, either against children or partners or both. One of those alleged abusers is none other than Courtland Rogers. And he has the criminal record to show for it. In 2013, Courtland was faced with three different arrest warrants. The first states: “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jenelle Rogers, a female person, by grabbing her by her hair and slamming her against the wall.” She was pregnant, folks. “The defendant named above unlawfully and willfully did commit a battery on a pregnant woman named Jenelle Rogers.” There were other accusations, including a warrant that mentioned that he had allegedly slammed her head against the floor in an effort to take her keys. Jenelle Evans also wrote about Courtland’s alleged abuse in her memoir, writing: “Courtland slapped me around a few times, then started punching me in the gut.” It was then, she says, that she started to miscarry. “My mother rushed me to the emergency room, where they explained to me that I had suffered a miscarriage due to my recent altercation with Courtland.” It should come as no surprise to anyone that Courtland has denied having ever hit Jenelle. And now, Courtland Rogers has married his pregnant girlfriend, Lindsey Frazier. This isn’t a secret — Lindsey posted the marriage certificate on social media. And she got some celebratory congratulations in response: “Congrats! Court needed and finally got a WOMAN with a good head on her shoulders! Wishing you 3 the very best and a loooong happy marriage.” Another wrote: “Congratulations to you both! It’s great to see Courtland happy and in a good place after all he’s been through.” Still, some who are familiar with Courtland’s history of domestic violence accusations can’t help but worry about a woman putting herself in Courtland’s hands. One can certainly understandy why. Considering that Jenelle Evans says that Courtland beat her so badly that she miscarried, some worry that Lindsey’s putting herself in danger but also her future child. Others point out that Jenelle has many problems, including a history of drug abuse and her own accusations of abuse, and that her accusations can’t be taken at face value. In fact, some Teen Mom fans would point out that they wouldn’t trust any ex of Jenelle’s as far as they could throw them. They say that Jenelle has a type, and it’s nothing good. (One of Jenelle’s exes just got busted for running a meth lab , folks) All things considered, it’s difficult to congratulate Lindsey on tying the knot. But we do genuinely wish her the best.
If you’ve been anywhere near social media this week, then you’re no doubt aware that Kim Kardashian has welcomed her third child . You’re probably also aware that she gave that child a very strange name. Yes, the moniker Chicago West is dominating all other Kardashian news this week for the simple reason that it’s an unusual name for a baby girl, even by Kimye standards. Kim and Kanye would probably appreciate it if most critics would hold their damn tongues, but they’re probably not too upset about the fact that Chicago is dominating the entertainment news cycle. For one thing, Kim and Kanye are of the opinion that everything they do is deserving of the public’s full attention and that’s doubly true when they do something that’s actually newsworthy, such as welcoming a child and naming it after a major American city. And as a bonus, the name distracts from the weird news coming out today about Kim and Kanye’s surrogate: As we reported yesterday, Kim’s surrogate was reported to have been very well-paid for her services. That would make perfect sense, of course, as being a surrogate is a major commitment and Kim and Kanye are very wealthy. Today, however, Radar Online is reporting that the surrogate (who remains anonymous) was paid much, much less than initially thought. The site claims that the surrogate received a mere $68,850 in compensation “for all discomfort, pain, suffering, and inconveniences, for pregnancy and pre-birth child support expenses and post-birth expenses.” It’s a sizable sum, to be sure, but a mere fraction of what was expected as payment from one of the wealthiest couples in entertainment. In addition to the flat fee, Kim and Kanye agreed to cover “obstetrical, nursing, hospital and maternity care, pharmaceutical, pediatrics, or other costs,” as well as covering all “medical expenses, fees, costs and services relating to the pregnancy and the birth of the child.” Generous, sure, but also a standard part of most surrogate agreements. The Wests even went so far as to put a clause in the contract ensuring that they would not be held responsible if, for any reason, the surrogate’s husband was forced to miss work during her pregnancy: “The Intended Parents shall have no responsibility to pay the gestational carrier’s husband’s lost wages under this agreement,” We should note that none of this comes directly from the surrogate, as according to the terms of her contract, she’s not permitted to speak to the press. The surrogate’s parents spoke on her behalf earlier this week and assured the public that all is well. “She is doing well,” her mother told Radar Online. “Everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting,” said the surrogate’s father, when asked if there were any complications. Both parties declined to offer any further information for fear of giving away their daughter’s identity. An anonymous source says the mother-of-two is happy with the arrangement, as she was never really in it for the money: “Neither she or her husband have asked for a nickel more from Kim or Kanye” said the source. “They just wanted to bless someone’s family with the gift of a child.” That’s nice and all, but if the family you’re blessing happens to be insanely wealthy, might as well ensure that your own kids are taken care of, right? As you probably heard, Lamar Odom weighed in on his ex-wife Khloe’s new life with a new baller and new baby on the way. When asked when he knew for sure that their much-drawn-out trainwreck of a marriage was over and done, Lamar said “I understand when it’s over, it’s over. When she was with her second or third NBA ball player, I could see that.” Sheesh. Honestly, no lies detected. But still harsh to hear aloud. Audrey Roloff and Jeremy Roloff are perhaps the most visible couple on Little People, Big World . That’s not just because they both have the best hair in the family. It helps that they’re both very active on social media, giving fans glimpses into their lives and thoughts — even when their show is on hiatus. Jeremy posted a beautiful tribute to his wife on a very special anniversary. And he included some great throwback photos of the two of them. Jeremy and Audrey have brought so much sweetness into each other’s lives, the lives of the Roloff family, and onto the screens of fans and viewers. All of that visibility has its drawbacks, unfortunately. That means that fans can grow hostile when Audrey Roloff appears talks about her faith in order to sell something . (She’s a businesswoman and Christianity is part of her brand) It also means that Jeremy Roloff gets parent-shamed for tickling Ember Jean . (The concern comes from a good place, about children setting boundaries, but Ember Jean is a baby and Jeremy’s interactions with her are healthy) But we’re glad that Auj and Jer wade through that hefty criticism, because it means that they can share precious posts. Jeremy posted a series of throwbacks of himself with Audrey, writing: “I met my wife eight years ago today on a blind date.” That’s so sweet! A lot of people dread blind dates, but sometimes, you meet the love of your life. “It’s been a wild and unexpected eight years.” It sure has! They’re now married parents as well as reality stars. (For the record, in case you remember Audrey and Jeremy’s seven-year-old “anniversary” pic , it sounds like they didn’t start dating right away after their blind date. They’re just marking eight years since they met ) Jeremy continues his sweet tribute (among the photos in which he and Audrey look dramatically younger) by musing upon the ways in which we both do and do not decide our own destinies. “We never get to choose where we end up, our daily choices choose for us.” We believe that what he’s saying here is that you don’t end up with someone by deciding that you’ll love them for the rest of our life, but by choosing to spend time with them as you know each other. That’s harder, but ultimately that’s how life works: one day at a time. “When we are old and grey I imagine the greatest thing will be looking back at the love story we have written.” That’s so sweet! And, of course, they’re already looking back on their love story. Jeremy uses a quote to speak about the next period in his and Audrey’s lives. “For the next half: ‘if it’s half as good as the half we’ve know, then here’s hail! to the rest of the road.’ A Severe Mercy.” Very poetic and very sweet. And then he finishes his tribute: “Cheers babe! (P.S. I love this photo of you)” It’s not clear which photo he means, because he shared so many and they’re all great. And look how far they’ve come. Their daughter, Ember Jean, is precious beyond words. We imagine that we’ll get to see so much more of that little one and her parents on the new season of Little People, Big World which is apparently coming out in a few months. It’s possible that Auj hasn’t always gotten along well with her entire family, but whatever conflict there was between Audrey and Jacob Roloff seems to be resolved . As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week. The baby was born via surrogate at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA early Monday morning. Kim made the announcement via her subscription-based app, but at this point, details are still relatively scarce. We know the baby is a girl, and the delivery went smoothly–but that’s about it. It might be weeks before Kim and Kanye go public with additional information, but one person who was directly involved in bringing their child into the world is speaking out … kind of. Not much is known about the surrogate hired by Kim and Kanye , and it seems that according to her contract, she’s not allowed to speak to the press. But that doesn’t mean her parents can’t speak to the press. Yes, the anonymous surrogate has contacted her mother and father, and in turn, they gave an interview to Radar Online. It might be the closest we’ll ever come to hearing from the surrogate directly. Fortunately, the parents have remained anonymous, which means the surrogate is not in violation of her agreement with Kim and Kanye. “She is doing well,” her mother tells Radar. “[Tuesday] she told me she felt fine.” Asked if there were any complications with the delivery, the surrogate’s father replied, “No, everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting.” “She’s safe at home with her husband,” the mother added. Unfortunately, there are two matters on which the proud parents played it coy. For starters, they refused to reveal if their daughter was a fan of Kim’s before carrying the reality star’s baby. “She may have been!” her mother remarked vaguely, adding: “According to what my daughter told me, yes, they got along.” And per their daughter’s contract, the parents offered no information on how much Kim and Kanye paid for the use of her uterus. We suppose that’s okay. It’s not like we need an exact figure to tell us that the anonymous woman who had the honor of delivering the newest member of the Kardashian-West clan is now very, very wealthy.
