Khloe Kardashian has spoken out for the first time since filing for divorce from Lamar Odom . In a simple Tweet posted this afternoon, the reality star wrote that “this, in and of itself, is heart breaking and torture to my soul.” Khloe also responded to talk of her dating Matt Kemp or The Game by Tweeting: “Please, I don’t need the extra rumors and BS right now.” It’s been clear for months, of course, that Khloe and Lamar were likely on the outs. The latter has been essentially off the grid since June, allegedly hooked on crack cocaine and sleeping with various women who are not his wife. Khloe and Lamar: The Last Straw There seemed to maybe be some hope for the couple over the last month or so, with Odom seemingly getting his life back together and even trying to make a comeback in the NBA… but then he released a bizarre video in which he admitted to sleeping around. And that was the final straw for Kardashian, as you might imagine. Kris Jenner has since come out and said Khloe is strong and will eventually move on from this failed marriage. But it will be a “process.” Of that, we have no doubt. We really do wish Khloe all the best in this difficult time.
Khloe Kardashian may now be single. But she’s far from alone. Days after her daughter filed for divorce from Lamar Odom , Kris Jenner has talked to E! and expressed nothing but support for Khloe in this time of need. “Khloe really is so great. She’s strong,” Jenner says . “The good news is that she’s busy… she’s got such a big heart but she also is very sensitive. She’s got that tougher exterior and sensitive inside, but she’s good. She’s got all of us all around her.” Earlier in the week, Lamar Odom’s daughter also spoke on her dad’s split from the reality star – though she didn’t really seem to care on bit about it. Jenner, though, referred to Khloe as “a gift” and “one of my biggest blessings” and added that the break up with Odom won’t be easy, but it was for the best. “I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it’s always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process,” Kris noted. “So we’ll see.” Khloe Kardashian Slammed By Lamar Odom’s Daughter Kardashian and Odom had not been living together since June. The latter’s substance abuse problem has been well documented and he has even admitted to cheating on his wife. Still, an insider tells E! that Lamar is “deeply saddened” that his marriage was over, even if he wasn’t shocked by the divorce filing. “He knew it was coming and it was only a matter of time,” this source says. “He felt like he gave his all to try and save the marriage, but ultimately he wasn’t able to.”

South Park Season 17 Episode 10, the show’s season finale, was epic. Not just because we love Kim Kardashian and Kanye West here at The Hollywood Gossip … okay mostly for that reason. Boy did they get skewered! In the middle of the night, Wendy was woken up by ‘Ye, who snuck into her room to read her a story about a “hobbit” who dreamed of being beautiful. You can see where the show is going with this, most likely. “The Hobbit” was able to become beautiful through the power of Photoshop (although she’s still no Beyonce), in an installment you need to see to appreciate. In fact, he’s looking to get remarried soon … to his basketball career. A new report suggests that he is as over it as she is, and that Khloe Kardashian filing for divorce is for the best, because he wants to focus on his career. Khloe Kardashian to Divorce Lamar Odom She cited irreconcilable differences for the split and seeks the restoration of her last name, plus the denial of any sort of spousal support for Lamar. The couple of four years has no kids, and an iron-clad prenuptial agreement. It was a long time coming, but her wedding ring came off after a video of Lamar rapping about cheating on Khloe (and looking wasted out of his mind) leaked. Lamar, though, actually puts the blame on HER … and his loser friends. According to insiders, his infidelity with Polina Polonsky and others can be blamed on friends “supporting me the wrong way by bringing girls around.” The basketball star also casts blame on Khloe Kardashian herself. “I can’t be f–kin’ with Khloe,” the troubled athlete says, inexplicably claiming that his reality star wife (and not his crack habit) “brings out the bad side of me.” In any case, it looks like it’s over between them, as Lamar says he needs to “get married” to his basketball career and wants to ignore the past. The pictures tell the story … on Nov 23, Khloe was in Australia, boarding a plane for the U.S. She was wearing her wedding ring. Khloe didn’t know it, but TMZ had just posted a video of Lamar Odom, in which her hubby is clearly under the influence of something, rapping about infidelity — “And when Khloe’s out of town I still be on the DL.” Sources connected to Khloe say she found out about the video on the plane and went ballistic. When she landed she was hiding her left hand in her purse. Two days later, the ring was gone and she hasn’t worn it since. As we previously reported, Khloe WILL divorce Lamar. Last night, NBC aired a three-hour live performance of The Sound of Music, the world’s most famous and beloved musical of all time, starring Carrie Underwood. The country star played Maria von Trapp, a role originated onstage by Mary Martin and belonging forever to Julie Andrews, who starred in the 1965 film. It was a project seemingly destined for failure and ripe with opportunities for public mockery and unflattering comparisons to the original classic. But was NBC’s The Sound of Music really as bad as advertised? Underwood is, by all accounts, a talented singer and a terrific person, and came off as both last night. As an actress, on the other hand, she seemed … Pedestrian? Miscast? For many, it was hard to put your finger on. The Sound of Music has a big cast, but it is Maria’s show, and many reviewers felt that the American Idol winner lacked the gravitas to get it done. With her on camera were theater veterans Audra McDonald, Christian Borle and Laura Bernanti, along with Michael Campayno and Ariane Reinhardt. Her love interest, Captain von Trapp, was played by Stephen Moyer ( True Blood ), who also sang better than you might think. But beyond that? The chemistry wasn’t as palpable as it could have been. Musicals can work on TV, but it can be tough. It’s not true television and not true theater, making the jokes and dialogue feel a little stilted at times. If nothing else, you have to give The Sound of Music credit as great theater, even if it felt a little out of place on prime time TV in the format it was presented. He had to cancel several other shows throughout his nationwide tour and drew criticism when he stopped a Florida concert after only three songs. In that case, Yeezus demanded that the lights be turned off before launching a profanity-laced tirade at the tech staff and storming off the stage. One can understand how this might alienate some fans … and his association with Kim Kardashian and her family may not be upping his appeal. “We are often drawn to people who have an ego and confidence that is derived from their talent,” notes human behavior expert Patrick Wanis. But conversely, “an empty ego, based on a fake self-inflated image and concept, creates an over powering sense of desperation and superficiality.” West’s talent is real. As are quotes in which he likens himself to Jesus, Michael Jordan, Steve Jobs, Nelson Mandela, Michelangelo and Michael Jackson. After a while, you can’t help but roll your eyes. And then there’s Kim. A study released in November suggests that his connection to the Kardashians may be a reason for his popularity decline. Q Scores, a website marketers use to measure recognition, reported that West’s popularity has dipped a whopping 66 percent since he got with Kim. It makes sense if you think about it. “When putting two egotistical, self serving individuals together, you’ll create a rather vile spark,” says California-based PR expert Angie Meyer-Olszewski. “And in times of economic hardship across the country, bragging about materialism is typically frowned upon. The Kardashian brand is a sinking ship.” “Anybody who jumps on board will eventually fall. A successful celebrity in his own right, Kanye made a horrible strategic decision by engaging with Kim.” Not only that, they procreated and made North West ! A cute baby, yes. And also a link to Kim that will never be broken in the eyes of the public. Kim is also infiltrating his professional life. Former celebrity Paris Hilton was on the receiving end of a Twitter hoax Thursday involving “her” supposed reaction to the death of Nelson Mandela. “Paris” did not sound smart in her alleged Tweet, posted after Nelson Mandela died at the age of 95, and actual Paris is not happy about it whatsoever. “RIP Nelson Mandela,” the Photoshopped tweet purportedly from Hilton read. “Your ‘I Have A Dream’ speech was so inspiring. An amazing man.” That’s right, Hilton was supposedly so brick stupid that she confused Mandela with Martin Luther King Jr., or so the fake tweet would have you believe. Which more than a few people did … which isn’t all that surprising, considering the proliferation of hoaxes on Twitter, and the fact that it’s Paris Hilton. NOTE: Paris is a former celebrity who was like the Kim Kardashian of 2003-2007. The two were even friends, and their “career paths” are similar. You could say the Paris Hilton sex tape was the Kim Kardashian sex tape before the Kim Kardashian sex tape was the Kim Kardashian sex tape. In any case, a quick check of Hilton’s verified account at the time the hoax started revealed she was on a plane to Miami, and did not send the Tweet. The socialite and reality star was quick to re-tweet items debunking the hoax, which according to reports, came from another account , not hers. “Just landed & heard the sad new[s] about Nelson Mandela,” real Paris wrote. “He was a true Hero & the world is a better place because of him. May he rest in peace.” Eleven minutes later, she let loose on the Twitter hoax: “Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now.” “Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it.” In the wee hours Friday morning, Hilton was still ticked off, tweeting, “I’m so sick of people lying about me & using my name . Please get a life & stop talking about mine.” “It’s beyond. #URPathetic #GetYourOwnLife” Seriously … the girl makes a valid point. Who still talks about Paris Hilton these days? What is this, 2007?
